Absolutely love Perdida! Their street tacos are all very tasty. Service is typically pretty friendly and fast. We've never had an issue getting a seat quickly, though we typically go around happy hour and on a week day. The ambiance makes you feel as though you're dining in a coastal California joint though you're in the middle of a Denver neighborhood, land locked. Parking can be a challenge but again for good food and drink, it's always worth it to park in the surrounding neighborhood and walk it in. read more

I had the Baja tacos and they were good not great, the line was was ok, my husband liked it the beans were cooked with tomatoes so they tasted kind of like chili beans. The app we was was the Chile rellenos, and they were soooo good along with the green chile you dip them in. The drinks were good and not too sweet, and the tres leches was definitely homemade and made correctly! My husband loved his brownies and really enjoyed his entree which was the 3 best of plate? I would give this 3.5 stars but since that's not an option I'll select four because the customer service was pretty spot on. We popped in for brunch to celebrate a friends birthday. We tried majority of the offerings on the brunch menu. The cornbread was good but a little on the dry side for my preference (might just be the southern girl in me) the French toast presentation was gorgeous and very tasty. I didn't love the texture of the potato Flautas but I did like that they are served with guac. The breakfast tacos were alright but the bacon was slightly charred. The homestyle potatoes were a great side! I don't know if I would rush back for brunch but I'd come back to try the dinner menu. read more

It really only takes a good restaurant a little bit extra to be a really good restaurant and I feel this place did the extra. They had some 3 choice dips for your chips and man not the salsa but some other thing like it they had was awesome. Coconut margarita was bomb too. The desserts were delicious too. BF saw this place on IG, and said that we HAD to go. So off we went. LOVE the vibe!! It's really well done, with a huge bar, several separate seating areas, sidewalk seating, and a patio. Decor is varied and a good balance of fun and elegant. There are YUCA FRIES on the menu!! They're an obsession of mine, and Perdida's variation is YUM. Short ribs! Queso! Cotija! We had the chips and salsa trio to start, and the red pepper salsa is seriously GOOD. The red salsa was mild and slightly smoky. The tomatillo salsa has a slight bite. BF had the birria tacos, and I had the smoked jalapeño Caesar with chicken. SO DELICIOUS. Huge portion, with a deliciously seasoned if slightly dry chicken breast. Then we had the strawberry tres leches cake. Ooooh. Yum. The whipped cream, a delicate pink, is made in-house. BF's rice and beans weren't anything special, but he liked them. I had a ranch water (on Q's advice), and BF had an Arnold Palmer. Q was the BEST server!! Very knowledgeable about the menu. Absolutely flawless, friendly, professional service. We stopped by after a walk around Wash park during a fun five k. The coffee is killer. Has that body and roastiness like a French roast, but with just a nice touch of bitterness. Food was less than impressive. Chips were stale, guac was unimpressive, ceviche was a red flag because they doused it in a marinade and if it was actually fresh, they wouldn't need a heavy peanut Thai marinade.... Love this restaurant! Very trendy decor and vibes great for a spot to meet up with friends. Reservations are a must. In a nice area of Denver with good free parking nearby. I love the frozen coconut marg. Would go back for that because I love them and they make a great one! I had the cheese enchiladas which were great. The put meat in the red sauce and refried beans but we're very accommodating and had black beans and green salsa as substitutes. Also tried the birria tacos which were amazing! I thought overall the food was good, the Baja shrimp enchiladas were delicious but I would truly like to see refried beans at a Mexican restaurant as that feels more authentic, as well as some Spanish rice (in contrast they have whole black beans, and white rice). The queso and guac were good, the churros absolutely delicious. Service could have been better. I don't like having to flag down our waiter every time we need something, but I do think I would go again. read more

We finally got to visit Perdida for brunch yesterday. What I like best about this restaurant is the beeezy ambiance. It's light and airy with two beautiful outside patios. It's such a fun atmosphere! Our food was very good. Our son loved his chicken tacos. My husband tried the shrimp enchiladas and I had the Huervos rancheros. My only complaint is that for the price, the portions were very small. I got the Baja enchilada which was good but did seem like it wasn't the freshest, like it had been made and sat for a bit. Overall my visit to Perdida was a solid 3.5 but I am rounding up to 4 because it has major potential. To start out - the space is one of the best in Denver. They have multiple outdoor patio spaces and an awesome dining and bar area. The vibe was immaculate and I wouldn't change a single thing about that! My friends and I sat in the back patio which was covered so can be used year-round. For drinks, we all tried various cocktails on the menu. I got the cali caliente which was very solid. Others at the table got the plain margarita, strawberry margarita, and the firecracker. Everyone seemed to like their drinks. For starters, we tried the chips and salsa, queso, yucca fries, calamari, and the ceviche. 2 out of 3 of the salsas were awesome, the green one was just okay. The queso and calamari were also stand outs and I would order again. The yucca fries were pretty bland without the queso on them and the ceviche was also super bland. The sauce it came in was very beautiful but it literally tasted like nothing. We added some salt and that helped, but I would not order this again. For entrees, we all ordered tacos. My friend and I split the shrimp tacos which were like a 2/5. My taco only had one piece of shrimp, I had to laugh at that. I'm not sure if my friend who had the other taco only had one but either way, kinda ridiculous when they were $18. It included two tacos and rice/beans. Service was good, no complaints there. Overall, I will definitely be back and I would likely stick with drinks and appetizers here. read more

First time I've been to this restaurant. We had a work meeting dinner here with about 10 of us. We sat in the back veranda area, which was very fun and comfortable. I loved walking into the restaurant. Lots of fun colors and the design and ambience were very welcoming; we were greeted and seated immediately. Everyone was welcoming and very friendly. Everyone ordered a variety of food. We started with chips, queso and guacamole. All were yummy. I ordered the fish tacos and they were just the right amount of food and prepared well. I've been here twice for lunch and once for dinner. The Chicken Tinga Tacos are good and they'll definitely fill you up. I've also tried the fish tacos and chicken enchiladas with green sauce. Insanely busy on this particular Saturday, so I was grateful to have booked reservations beforehand. I think the reservations were made about 6 days in advance. We were seated in the middle of the dining room in a booth, which was fantastic since we can see out to most of the restaurant as well as having the AC blasting on us the entire time. We ordered drinks, guac, and entrees. The drinks were good, but for some reason my order took over 30 mins to arrive. Luckily, when I did get the Marisol, it was delicious. The guac was nice and fresh, but the chips seemed too thin to scoop dip with. The entrees were really good. I had the mushroom tacos and really enjoyed them. My friend had the cheese enchiladas and although both of our entrees were similarly priced, I felt like her plate looked real meager next to mine. The restaurant is beautiful, very trendy, lots of patio seating and the whole place can open up to outside for a seamless indoor/outdoor vibe. I was very excited to try this place. I would say instaworthy if that's what the people are looking for. Everyone has great reviews, unfortunately we didn't have the same experience as them. We didn't make it as far as ordering entrees. We started with a Pomegranate seltzer (something I've never tried before, don't judge) and a salt and lime beer. The pomegranate seltzer came out with something brown floating around in it. I hate to be that person to send something back but I already know I won't drink it so I'm completely fine with politely requesting a new one. They brought me a new one pronto, easy fix. After drinks we ordered chips and salsa and ceviche to start. The chips and salsa are okay. The ceviche came out beautiful. One - I've never had ceviche, my man was tryna get me to be adventurous and Two - I've never seen ceviche come this way so I was intrigued. Bright and colorful, it looked delicious. Sadly I didn't even get to try it because my man took the first bite only to find a hair tucked away inside this beautiful ceviche. Sad. Of course it had to be sent back, but no hard feelings. At that point we were okay with finishing our drinks and closing the tab. Our server was nice enough to notify the manager so he could come speak to us, which he did. Appreciate the time he took to ensure that the experience we had was not standard for the restaurant. He did let me know the brown thing floating in my seltzer was residual sugar from the tap spout since that drink is not a popular ordering item. I think they should still run their taps before pour but good to know. I have two stars strictly because the server and the manager were patient and still extended great customer service under the circumstances. The manager comped our whole order. Thank you! read more
