    Foccacia Bread-Yum!

Delicious food and even better service! Reservations are really helpful for prime times and would suggest getting there a bit early just to find close parking. Food was fantastic with several appetizers including the Savory Beets on top of an organic thick yougurt base, perfectly shaved brussel sprout salad (all the same, even size so easy to eat!) yummy peapods with awesome flavor and the fantastic warm foccacia bread and dipping sauce. For the main meal, a couple of our group ordering the crispy chicken sandwich with coleslaw and served with perfectly crisp fries, short rib was absolutely tender and so savory on top of creamy mashed potatoes. The halibut was tender, cooked perfectly atop pasta with fresh corn. Absolutely scrumptious! Several had drinks...$14 a piece but they enjoyed. Will be back on the food alone... then the service was so good it just made it that much better!

What an amazing restaurant. We went here for the wife's 34th birthday and it did not disappoint. The service is on point and recommendations by the staff were amazing. The ambiance is laid back and classy, we will return outside of special occasions. It is pricier for Idaho, but I never mind spending the money if the end product warrants it. We started with the grilled artichoke, and the sauce provided with it might be the best dipping sauce I've ever experienced. Again a classy establishment, but if I had the sauce at home any of the leftover would have been drank. The wife ordered the short rib pasta, wow the handmade sourdough pasta is legit. The short rib is rich and filling and goes perfectly with the pasta. I ordered the special, a local catfish dish with Brussel sprouts shaved thinly and cooked perfectly on top. It was the best presentation and tasting of Brussels I've ever tasted. You get the absolutely best bites of Brussel sprouts every bite. The drinks are also amazing and detailed down to the ice cube for the old fashioned.

    Artichoke dip. So so good.

Loved everything about this culinary experience. The service was fabulous. The restaurant was full and the vibe was cool. All our menu items were cooked well and tasty. THE MENU offers lots of options to enjoy. This is for sure a great spot to have a meal.

We had a lovely dinner last Saturday night. The staff were very friendly and worked well together. Our waters were filled by several different people and meals brought out by someone other than our waitress- a real team effort! I felt like staff checked on us, but was not overly attentive. Perfect!! We had the Percy potatoes (so good and the perfect crunch) and the sugar snap pea appetizers ( wish the menu would have stated the peas are served cold- my husband loved, but I don't like cold sugar snaps) For our main I had the chicken, mash and asparagus. All 10/10 and you could really taste the smoke of the oven. My husband had the sticky ribs and he said some of the best he's ever had! We finished off our meal with a delicious slice of carrot cake.

Took my best friend here for a girls night and we were in heaven! Percy had amazing food, cutest atmosphere, and our server was so sweet she even took pictures of my friend & I! lol. We were so impressed with the pork chop & the focaccia bread

Grilled ahi tuna (a bit of a disappointment)

Service: 5 (Thanks Darren) We had a really good experience here. I hate that I loved the biscuits and dessert the most, but I did! The biscuits were incredible. They were hot and soft in the right places and crispy in the right places and the honey butter was delicious on them. The dessert was a Valentine's Day special, Turtle Bundino with chocolate, salted caramel, candied pecans, & whipped cream. The tuna crudo was also very tasty, but the grilled ahi was just not right. The flavor was good, and the potatoes/zucchini were prepared well. The ahi was tough. It was supposed to be medium rare, and it was close...but not quite. I had to put some muscle in to it to cut it. To Darren's credit, we told him it was good, and we ate it all, but it wasn't great. The good news....everything else was GREAT! So I still highly recommend, but for 5 stars, it all kinda has to be right from the jump.

Highly rated and accurate. Cool, long dining room with booths and tables. Love a good booth. Biscuits for a starter and they are delicious. Hit the spot since our group was "hangrry". Would be better if it came with two cups of that delicious butter, not one. Cocktails are unique and while they can make just about anything, switched to beer on this night. Half dozen on tap and bottled. They have a lot of great options on the menu. Chose simple tonight and went with the burger. Great patty and flavor, sautéed onion jam, and bun. Very flavorful and filling. Good portion of fries, shoestring style, cooked perfectly. Waitress was great and you can tell this is the type of establishment that employs a well trained staff. Would dine here again.

Another great meal at Percy. Staff was great and food was excellent! Biscuits with smoked honey butter are amazing!

This place is hidden on a side road with not much parking. We only found street parking. Good luck getting close to it on a busy day. I went here on a Sunday for brunch. The restaurant itself has really upscale vibes. Almost like I back in the north east and going out to eat. The hostess was friendly and sat us quickly when we came in. Our waitress was very friendly also. The menu is small and does change a good amount. Our waitress told us that it changes a good amount so your favorite item might not be there if you look at the menu online. I got the blueberry pancakes. They were absolutely delicious. Moist, flavorful and melted with not much chewing. I do wish they gave more syrup. The blueberry syrup they put on top just soaks into the pancakes. I didn't get to try the burger since who i was with didn't offer me anything from him plate. It did look good and he ate his whole burger. I will definitely come here again.

Percy is one of the more polished spots in downtown Boise, and overall it delivers a really enjoyable experience. The food is the highlight ,elevated American dishes that feel thoughtful without being overly complicated. You can tell there's attention to detail, especially with things like the seasonal ingredients. The flavors are well-balanced, and presentation is clean and modern. Service was friendly and professional. The staff knew the menu well and made solid recommendations, the biscuit was good with the smoked butter , wish they were a bit smaller. Grilled artichoke was nice with acidic flavors. Pasta was also good , the steak was cooked perfectly but the charred outside was really bitter. The space itself is stylish and lively, with a trendy, upscale vibe that makes it great for date night or a nice dinner out. That said, it can get a little loud, so not the best spot if you're looking for something quiet or intimate. Prices are on the higher side for Boise, but the quality mostly justifies it, it feels like a "special occasion" kind of place rather than an everyday go-to. Overall, a strong 4-star experience. Good food, good energy, and definitely worth checking out if you want something a bit more refined in Boise.

Soooo good and affordable, I wouldn't classify as $$$$?? Grain bowl with rotisserie chicken and seasonal veggies tasted kinda like a deconstructed pot pie in the best way! Veggies were amazing, corn so sweet snd juicy! Definitely in season. Fast service, modern vibe. Got it to go, will be back!

We arrived on a Monday night for a team dinner and promptly seated at the front round table. Beautiful restaurant and ambiance! We were promptly greeted by our server and drink orders taken. I'm from out of town so our local friends guided us to order the sourdough focaccia for an appetizer. This is the best bread I've ever had!! Incredible taste and crisp, I only had one slice but could have easily eaten the whole loaf! I ordered the salmon for dinner which did not disappoint, I cleaned my plate. We shared a few desserts - carrot cake, bread pudding, and cheesecake, all were delicious. I was raving about my meal to my husband so I'm definitely bringing him here when we are back in Boise!

    Percy Potatoes

What a fabulous experience at Percy! Food: 5/5. Wow! Every single item was truly phenomenal. We started with the corn and potatoes for appetizers. Both were truly unlike any other corn and potatoes I've ever had. The corn is like a cold corn salad with tomatoes and a little bit of spice. The potatoes are smashed and the flavoring is like a vinegar sauce and have a delicious cream underneath. For entrees, we had the papperdelle and the skirt steak. Wow! Both were mouthwatering and plated beautifully as well. I really don't think you can wrong with anything you order here. To finish we had the brownie cheesecake. Wow! Definitely a must have! Service: 5/5. Every single person we interacted with was so friendly and delightful. Ella was our server and she was very attentive and provided a great wine recommendation. We were celebrating a special occasion and not only did the hostess and waitress say congratulations to us, but we were given a hand written postcard as well! Something we will definitely cherish and such a nice touch! Atmosphere: 5/5. I love the decor, seating, and atmosphere of this restaurant! Everything is stunning, including the bathroom which I recommend you check out. You can tell a lot of thought went into this location. The only downside I would say is downtown parking, but that is to be expected. I absolutely loved our experience here and can't wait to go again! What a magical experience I will not forget!

From the moment you step inside, the place has that quintessential speakeasy feel. The ambiance is dark, moody, and eclectic, with vintage touches throughout. One feature that really caught my eye was a stunning cove-like structure that added so much character to the space. The menu was just as impressive as the décor -creative, varied, and full of unique cocktails that felt thoughtfully designed rather than your standard bar offerings. They even have a few "secret" drinks hidden on the menu, and the staff will happily tell you how to find them, which is a fun touch.Since another reservation was due to arrive in about 40 minutes, we kept it to two cocktails, which was perfectly fine as we were only stopping in for a nightcap. Both drinks were beautifully crafted. I especially loved The Canvas ,it was bright, refreshing, and memorable. My husband wasn't quite as enthusiastic about his cocktail, though he's generally not one to send a drink back or complain. The staff was warm, friendly, and welcoming throughout our visit. I walked in, not sure what to get. The bartender asked me what flavors I like. She went away and made me this epic cocktail. She told me all the things she added, and it was clear, these bartenders are the real deal. They know their stuff. I drank my delightful cocktail way too fast. But it was so damn good. The vibe is fun. They bartenders interact with everyone and do all kinds of cool things with cool ingredients and tell you about it all. We hoped to grab a patio seat but the patio was packed so we went inside. The inside is dark and decorations are interesting. There is a variety of seating such as high tops, comfortable conversation chairs & tables as well as a booth. It has window seating available as well. We were actually the only people inside the lounge except one person at the bar. I soon realized why everyone was sitting outside after we took a seat and ordered cocktails. The music was so loud we could barely hold a conversation. Regardless, our server Nick was great. He was very attentive and constantly checked in with us for drinks. We ordered a Party Girl Mule, the Chili Gringo Mule and a dirty martini. All were delicious. I prefer my martinis colder and a glass filled to the rim. I felt the martini was lacking volume for the price of the martini. The Mode Lounge patio is located right on the walkway so it looked like a great spot for people watching. We didn't hang out too long as we had a difficult time talking with the loud music but we did like the drinks and our server, Nick. We will stop by again but look for outside seating.

I'm so glad we decided to check it out. We arrived and were escorted to the top floor, where we were greeted with beautiful, almost awe-inspiring views of the mountains and the city. The space itself is tiny, with just a couple of couches and a few additional seats. In a way, you're almost forced to interact with the other patron but for us, it was fantastic. We ended up chatting with several people throughout the evening. Some were tourists like us, while others were locals, and it was genuinely fun hearing their stories, learning more about the city, and getting recommendations for things to see and do. We also had some great conversations with the bartender, which made the experience feel especially personal. The cocktail format is unique as well. There isn't a fixed menu. Instead, you tell the bartender what you like, what you're in the mood for, and how adventurous you want to be, and they create something around your preferences. I'm a whiskey drinker and was open to experimenting, so I ended up with an Old Fashioned that had a savory element (soy sauce ) I wasn't entirely sure about at first but it turned out to be surprisingly good. My husband, who's a big mezcal fan, got a cocktail featuring Chartreuse, if I remember correctly, and thoroughly enjoyed his. I believe reservations are limited to 90 minutes, but that was plenty of time for two cocktails each. We left feeling like we'd had a genuinely memorable evening--not just because of the drinks and the views, but because of the conversations and the people we met along the way.Pricing is slightly on the higher side, but that's pretty much what we expected given the setting and the experience and might I add that the alcohol was also top shelf. Definitely one of those places where the experience is as much about the people and atmosphere as it is about the cocktails.
