3 stars to me is a business that is good enough for a lunch, but not somewhere ever worth a detour. This place is about that level of quality. The food was acceptable and there was nothing to complain about besides the incredibly long wait. The special watermelon juice was great. It's in a hidden little area however and parking is paid. If you're in the area and want something new go here I guess.

There was a long line at the Camellia grill on New Year's Day, then we walked half a block away and found this place- no wait and good breakfast!

Crepe Nutella, so Yummy!

Just had lunch at Pepperoni Cafe, and it was delicious. It's a family run business not far from Tulane University campus. We ordered an eggwhite veggie omelette, chicken panini, and nutella crepe. Everything was so yummy. Highly recommend visiting if you are in the area! They serve both breakfast and lunch! Such a great variety of food. Thanks for the wonderful service! We would definitely want to come back.

My husband are relatively new to the area -live in Kenner -and like to go exploring the streets and neighborhoods of NOLA in search of tasty food and good beer. Today we walked past and took a look at the menu and said yup let's give it a try. They were busy and steady. We snagged a table and didn't wait to long for menu and our drink orders were taken. I had a Bloody Mary -spouse had coffee. I had the scrambled eggs and ham and cheese sandwich baked on their bread. Spouse had Breakfast with perfectly poached eggs ! Food was good service a tad slow but it was busy. Server was very nice

The worst! Seafood pasta was not as described on the menu. Pasta had a very fishy taste and the presentation was horrible.

Service was also a bit rude and rushed and we were the only ones ordering. 2 coffees and 2 sandwiches were $27.50 I likely won't recommend or go out of my way to go back. New Orleans has some high coffee competition in my opinion and this place just didn't do it for me.

This is what I would call a Orleans Parish fancy coffee shop setting with home made meals and coffee in Jefferson. You feel like you are in New Orleans as it is a raised house, with high ceilings, wooden creeky floors, door locks that barely work for the bathroom, and even live music. I have been coming here monthly since the summer and it is a small business owned by a woman who makes her own pickles and cookies with sea salt and coffees. Since it is small, they sometimes run out of items so if your heart is set on something call ahead. She has the most incredible pulled pork cheesy biscuit. Again, sometimes the cheesy biscuit is out, but the regular biscuit is just fine. The home made pickles are truly incredible. My hubby does not like pickles and he craves these. There is a sweetness to them, it isn't all vinegary. And the owner is considering selling them on the side soon. The cookie is a chocolate chip cookie that she adds seastalt to that enhances the flavor. The salad I had, she was out of the particular greens, but the salad was amazing too! The coffee I had was a caramel or something style, it was so good, I got it in cold and hot latte style! I love the teal truck outside that matches the door. The place is clean inside. There are steps to get into the place, there are about 5 or 6 small tables inside, there is a porch with a couple of small tables as well. Prices are on par with any other Orleans parish coffee shop, and parking is off street parking and is across the street which is basically Causeway.

Chef Chad took great care of us and explained a lot of the thought behind some menu items They had a great drink special of $3 beers and $6 cocktails going on. We tried the wings w a salt and vinegar dry rub n garlic jalapeño ranch which were fried perfectly n crispy n flavorful on their own but the jalapeño ranch was a great compliment The Kala was so good, chef explained he went for a corn max choux savory Kala and they were sooooo tasty with a savory flavor and sweetness from the corn. We got grilled pork chops which were a generous portion and super tasty w a delicious chutney served with them. I also couldn't decide between the fried green tomato blt and the burger so I asked if he'd add the burger to the blt and he did and it was so flavorful and delicious! The sides were all 10/10s for me also, I'm super picky about fries and almost asked to sub them out for something but I'm glad I didn't. They were amazing!!!!! The collard greens, yams, and baked Mac and cheese were soooooooooooooooo good! Only regret is being too full to try dessert but the yams did scratch that itch for something sweet.

We were greeted before we ever made it through the door by a gentleman dressed very nicely (with a bow tie!). He took us to our table and immediately took our drink order then explained the specials and answered our questions about some of the items on the menu. Service was genuine, friendly, fast and thorough. Food: first and foremost both our meals were delicious! I love the fact that they came out fast and hot. The pork chops (you get two with your order!) were amazing - juicy, flavorful and cooked to perfection, the chef made a sweet potato chutney that was out of this world! The Mac and Cheese was flavorful and the ratio of noodles to cheese was perfect (I love the fact that it was baked on top!). If you select a meal that offers the sweet potatoes as a side dish, trust me, you're not going to wanna miss this opportunity for the best sweet potatoes you've ever had. Both the manager and the chef visited with us for a bit, representing the best in southern hospitality. We felt like we were eating at somebody's home as invited guests versus your typical rushed service. We'll be back on our next visit to New Orleans!
