Yes, we did buy ALL of them!

What better place to visit a Pepper Palace than historic downtown St Augustine? Certainly not back home at the MOA! Lots of choices & you can try them all-IF you dare! I thought I was pretty good with spices until I tried the Nasal Napalm (it's a lethal horseradish). They have deals-just ask (like buy 3 and get one free). If the weather is cold here in north Florida-just add some spiciness to your food and warm up! Worth a stop, even if you're looking for a not-too-spicy sauce!

Gotta love Pepper Palace especially when they have deals. Buy three get one free, which I did. I especially love how you can try every hot sauce. I was in this store for over 30 minutes. The sales associate was friendly and reminded me of their deal so I can get my fourth sauce for free. It's spacious and shared space with an ice cream shop and candy store located right behind the sauces. Two thumbs up.

I have been meaning to visit here since we started coming to St. Augustine and we finally made it a point to go. I always grab the coupon books when we are in town because we go to some of the places and I always fold over the page for pepper palace. The coupon gets you a free bottle of hot sauce with purchase of $10+. We walked in on a Monday and it was really busy. When we were able to get to the sample bottles, it was overwhelming. There were so many bottles of sauce, I thought there were duplicates. Nope! I decided to start from the right side and work my way around the bar. They provide you with tortilla chips located in 2 different jars on the counters. I did not count how many I tried but there were a lot. I was daring and tried hot sauces that were rated 7 on the scales. Yup, that was hot lol. I finally made my way towards the end of the bar and went back to the 5 or 6 choices I had. I did not want to buy a lot because we literally have like 15 different hot sauces at home. I narrowed them down to three and made my way to the register. I inquired about the Napalm horseradish because I love horseradish (I ate it out of the jar as a kid). The girl did not provide information or offer a sample. I submitted my coupon and received my free bottle. The total was about $20. Not too bad but really expensive you compare to supermarket prices. I will probably go back if my sauces work well with food.

A fun place for spicy food lovers on the touristy historic district of St. Augustine. A large selection of hot sauces line the shelves of this establishment, ranging in range from relatively mild to hellish levels of delight. There are also various brands to sample. The staff is friendly and encourage you to try various sauces and with heat levels listed, you kind of know what you are getting into before biting into it. Fir a review within a review, let me add that I am a huge fan of the Ring of Fire xx hot sauce. It has a great flavor and a bit of punch. I make sure this is something always in my fridge and a backup in the pantry.

Hot sauce heaven! For parking here there's a private paid lot and there is no hustle there. this store is located at a nice touristy location with a lot of bars and restaurants, lots of people walking and all. The store is super fun! You come in and they have complementary tortilla chips so you can start the lip burning process! There are so many choices for any and all tastes, we spent a long time trying all we could until we made our choices, I will tel you that I got out of there not feeling my lips. This was a fun place with friendly staff and I can assure you that you will not walk out of here with only one bottle. They have plenty of deals on the sauces. take them all! loved it.

This place is soo cool! They have so many different types of hot sauces you can try from super hot to mild. They have a spoon dispenser off the wall so you can walk around and just squeeze the hot sauce onto your spoon. I ended up buying three different hot sauces! I normally only like Crystal hot sauce but I'm glad I expanded my horizons because they have everything sauce from savory to sweet hot sauces that can pair with soo many things.

Me and the hubs really enjoy coming here. They have a fantastic selection of hot sauce, salsa's, dips, BBQ sauces, marinades, etc. The staff here is always super friendly! They have small bowls set out of different flavors of products, which you can try with a tortilla chip or by itself. They offer this so you can "try before you buy". Their flavors range from mild to extremely hot, but the staff will be sure to let you know what their recommendations are if you are interested in anything in particular. They also have milk products, bottled water and soda available for sale in case you try something a little to hot for your liking ;). I have also seen some of the men here do a "sample" of the ghost pepper chili hot hot sauce. This one apparently is supposed to knock you off your socks (hence why I say I have seen others do it and have not participated myself, haha). It is very entertaining watching them do this taste test! This a great place to come if you're in need of some new and exciting spices for your kitchen or if you're in the Saint Augustine area and just want to try something new!

If you love hot sauce, you must visit. Umpty-billion varieties plus at least 60 or 70 to taste. Fun!

Even tried their most popular: Sunshine & St. Augustine Rose which were both a white balsamic vinegar that were unique and fantastic. They have a nice variety of merchandise. (see pics & video) Staff was helpful in finding items to bring home with me & that could go in my carry on luggage (also offer shipping). We bought several things for ourselves and several things as gifts for others. We also learned they do special pairings and post recipes on occasion if you follow them on Instagram too! The owners are extremely passionate and knowledgeable about their business. As well as choosing the best quality products for their customers. They have 4 locations in Florida currently. That is un-brine-lievable! Note-This shop offers in-store refills for customers who bring back their bottles which allows for a sustainable solution for returning customers. They also won "Best of St. Augustine" for Best Specialty Shop and Best Gift Shop 4 years in a row. Keep drizzling happiness like olive oil and best of luck for the 2026 award.

Cafe menu looks to be tasty but haven't had a chance to try as everytime I've gone to the market it's closed or employees behind the counter look unenthusiastic to see or help a customer, plus there's no menu posted on the walls for easy viewing. As per the couple of times I've gone in to shop I noticed I've recieved some following from store employees looking over my shoulder in isles, as a student from the local college I can understand being careful but it comes to a point of obnoxiousness and poor customer service. I've also noticed they carry some products that are sold at the Winn Dixie across the street where the price so happens to be significantly cheaper so keep that in mind.
