Cheesesteak with fries onions
Briana N.

Pretty average cheesesteak and fries. I got a cheesesteak with fried onions and a side of fries. Meat and cheese were pretty typical and the roll was dry. Fries tasted like they were frozen and then heated up, but it was fine. It was easy to call and place an order and staff was nice. I would recommend doing take out, the inside didn't look super nice/clean and there was nobody in there eating. There was a lot of takeout orders though. Fine, quick place if you're looking for a basic cheesesteak near town.

10 seconds of rubbing with a drop of soap and a wet paper towel. They've never even made an effort.

Filthy. Pre-ordered for several people or would've left. Ended up throwing away my turkey hoagie. Hard, stale provolone. Sandwich just tasted bad. What a waste. And it was expensive overall. Disgusting and will never return. This is a photo of the light switch in the ladies room. Hey, Pepper Mill, I didn't want to spend any more time than necessary in your filthy bathroom, but one dab of soap and a wet paper towel helped. Really, really gross. You must never clean anything in this sh**hole.

Great old school family restaurant. I got the highly rated cheesesteak and it did not disappoint. If you are out and about it is a good place to stop, relax, use the bathroom and enjoy a great CS. Full menu.

Adding photos as evidence of the pepper mill awful tiny cheesesteak with nasty meat. This place is a JOKE!

Worst cheesesteak I have ever had. I ordered the large cheesesteak and the sandwich had no meat on it. This place is a joke. Paid $9.45 for a piece of bread and maybe 20 cents worth of dry roast beef tasting meat on the bun. I have had better cheesesteaks from a cafeteria. The meat was cold and what little amount of cheese they added to the sandwich was unmelted. Also beware; I watched an employee counting money with rubber gloves on and then walk over to cut and prepare a sandwich for a to-go order. Disgusting. How is a place like this even in business? I also ordered the appetizer sampler and this was lackluster as well...I feel robbed. STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS.

So far the food has been great for takeout. The service is a little shaky and a bit more meat on the steaks never hurts!

The crust is thin yet crisp and chewy and NOT soggy anywhere! The toppings are spread liberally and the pizzas are seasoned perfectly. The family that runs the place is so very kind and friendly. Whether you are passing through like I was or a long-time local, you need to try this place! My personal fave was the farmer's veggie pizza, which was packed with fresh veggies and juicy mushrooms, which I cannot resist, but the pepperoni was a close second, with huge pepperoni slices mixed with little cute ones, all crisp and salty and perfect. My husband, however, raved about the Yia Yia's Brooklyn. I get the impression that you won't go wrong with any of their pizzas. The fries were great, too! Even hours after, they're still crisp and pillowy, not stiff or soggy like your usual fries. Even the rocky road brownies were good. If you're reading this review, stop reading and start ordering!! I will note, there are only a couple of boothed tables and a few window seats, so you might want to order takeout.

A friend tipped me off just two days ago about how he had found an EPIC Philly Cheesesteak out in…read morethe suburbs (without driving to Downtown Philly to Angelo's or Uncle Gus'!) Right near the Exton Mall, I swung by yesterday after shopping at Boscov's for Christmas presents and opted for a slice of the ir Pizza for a light lunch. Yes, I saw several of their cheesesteaks carried by to other customers but tasting one will be on my next trip, but the thick , generous portion of rib eye steak, Coooer cheese, spilling out of a seeded roll for an astounding $15 looks like an incredible deal. But I digress- this family- run restaurant knows how to make astonishingly great pizza, and can do any of their offerings on GLUTEN-FREE crust. They use Imported Italian flours and cook up their crusts crispy, well done, and delicious that beats the mouth-feel of anything I have had in the area. The meats are of superior quality and flavor, and everything is available by the slice and displayed in a case of fresh slices in so great a variety you will have difficulty choosing just one! The slice named "The Charlie" called out to me, totally on visual appeal, and I learned secondarily that it sported classic pizza sauce, creamy Mozerella, pepperoni, finished with pecorino Romano, fresh Basil, and hot honey- It knocked my socks off! Whether you are in the mood for an amazing pizza, or a cheesesteak, you've gotta try this place. It is clean, well staffed, with a great vibe! Find it a coupla blocks from the mall, on Lancaster Ave across the street from the Sherwin Williams paint store.

Ordered them both a standard cheesesteak wit. Unfortunately, mine had a nasty chunk of gristle, but was otherwise an 8.5. My companion was very happy with her usual chicken cheesesteak... Waiting for their feedback: don't let me down Gentili's. The feedback: the chef, very picky Italian chef, was blown away (his benchmark was Geno's, so). The Jersey Mike's fans were likewise impressed admitting Jersey Mike's is a bad facsimile... My mission to conquer mediocre and bad cheesesteaks, and uninformed/misinformed opinions, continues...
