He affixed my front license plate, cleaned the inside of my windshield (!), let me tag along on the test drive, and even brought me into the shop to see my car's underside once it was up in the air. How did he know I would absolutely love that? Little things mattered too: the waiting area was comfortable, clean, sunny, and quiet, with a thoughtfully planned garden out front. Rates were refreshingly reasonable--and not one cent over the estimate. It was such an exceptional experience, one that gave me real confidence and peace of mind that my car is in good hands. What a frustrating experience. First of all, you can barely hear the manager when he speaks. I…read moreswear, he smokes something. Most of the staff was smoking, I did see a few packs of cigarettes around. I came in with a flat tire, trying to get it patched. I also had a damaged stud after it broke off the wheel while still inside the lug nut, thanks to roadside assistance. I even brought over an extra lug nut and stud from an auto parts store that was recommended to me. But the staff said they couldn't use those. So they had to use their supplier and it took over an hour to get the part. They actually had to go out to get the right parts, which was good of them to do. They also replaced my air cabin and filter I didn't come in asking for them to be fixed, but at least they made me aware of it and I appreciated that. What frustrated me is the tire was patachable and they didn't do it. They simply removed what was left of the stud and them put on the new parts with my spare still on the car. So they then told me to go down the street to Firestone to try to get the tire patched. That turned into another 2 hours over there, but that's for another review. But the worst part is they charged me $145 in labor. And they couldn't even finish the job correctly. I could understand a small charge for the air filter. But $145 just for labor is insulting and inappropriate. My total bill was around $230. To total it up, an hour and 45 minutes is what I spent in that office, and for most of that time there was only one other customer. It's not as if they were backed up with a lot of Sunday afternoon jobs to do. I have had good experiences with other Jiffy Lube locations in the past. I will never visit this one ever again.

It was a busy day so I was in there for about 2 hours. From what I was told in my first visit, they operate on a first come first served basis. The wait wasn't an issue for me because it was semi expected. Although it's an auto shop, dirt & grease spots are expected; It's in need of a gooooood deep clean in the waiting area. The Staff seem kind. I didn't think to check my wipers before I left the lot but the next day when I did, it was still empty. That made me think if they did not top off the fluids did they do the oil change. I lifted the hood and to my surprise the coolant hose was not inside the reservoir. The oil had been changed thankfully but they were moving too fast. This could have went so far left if I did not lift the hood up in time! I surely don't want or need any issues with a car I've had only for a year.

Since moving to NC, all we ever hear about is how everyone in this state has "A Guy" they know that can do fix-it/handy projects around the house. The patient was able to accommodate me. (This is important for the review) they were able to plug the tire and because I had purchased the warranty there was nothing due. Joe fixed me right up and I made it back in time. A couple days later my TPMS light indicates it can't read my tire pressure. I go online to make an appointment for 6:00 that day. The Durham location calls me and states they can't see me at 6:00 because they have 3 people already for 6:00. I informed them I picked the time the online offer. They stated the online schedule doesn't take into consideration that they already have people scheduled and asked if I could come at 4:00. I informed them I could not, I could do 5:30. They stated they could not see me until next week, informed them I didn't want to wait that long, I'm not sure if this tire is leaking or just the light. I inquired if another Firestone would be able to see me and handle the issue. He stated yes, so I go online and make an appointment with them for 6:00. Low and behold they call me and stated they couldn't see me at 6:00 because they were booked. It sounds like their online systems need to be updated, because you show me what's available and I choose. I say okay and cancel the appointment, I call my mom and ask if i could use her car and she says yes. I go back online and schedule with New Hope location for 12:00pm the next day. I get a call from the location informing me that I made another appointment, I told him yes I will have my mother bring it. He then tells me I need to go back to Durham and what's their number because it makes no sense that they can't see me until next week. I provided the number even though at this point I have steam coming from my ears! New Hope calls back and said he spoke to Jeff the general manager and they can see me tomorrow at 6:00, and to call them. I call Jeff, and said I guess the Raleigh location called you and he proceeds to say we can see you tomorrow at 8:00am. I once again inform him I cannot do 8:00, I have a patient. I can do 4:00 and that's the time we settle on. Last night I received a text that my appointment has been updated to 9:00am, at this point I have decided to see someone else and just pay out of pocket. Then today I received a text today stating my appointment is at 6:00pm then I receive one 15 minutes later stating my appointment has been moved to July 31 at 12:00pm. Who arbitrarily moves an appointment? Can you imagine your dental office sending you a text that they have just moved your appointment? I spent over 1,1000 for new tires and brakes less than a year ago and they can't even uphold their warranty.

They refused to replace the tire without charging me, because it looked like I had been driving on it for an extended period of time and the side wall was potentially damaged.. it was at most a couple of days. Then the rest of my tires were almost completely bald and I asked them to replace those as well, on account that the warranty for them was guaranteed to last 55,000 miles.. mine didn't even make it to half that. They said the warranty wouldn't apply because I didn't rotate my tires as much as they wouldn't liked and that's how my tires wore down that much. Again, an excuse. The best "deal" they could do for me was $10 off of two tires, which is nothing when the tires are almost $100 a piece. If they had gone by their own policy, I should've had all tires down for free OR at least gotten the prorated rate which isn't $10 off two tires. I ended up having them put my donut o for me and going to another shop and getting a full set of tires. They will never have business from my family or I ever again.
