I enjoyed the bacon and cheese potato kegs. My wife and I split the BLT and grilled cheese. Hers came with a side salad mine with shoe string fries. My son has the salad. Salmon was very good, it was vodka cured; bloodline and skin removed (+++)! Grain was pretty busy for mid-afternoon on a Sunday. Modern pub/ sports pub feel. Phillies game on the TVs. Music playing. Service was OK. My one pet peeve is allowing servers to leave dirty dishes and empty glasses on the table. And our server, although attentive, did not clear any dishes or glasses. Thank god I don't have epilepsy, the light over our table kept blinking non-stop. Plenty of off street parking for patrons. Lots of varied seating, both indoor and outdoor. See warning sign in my pics (haha). As far as prices, they are in line with any other places, as far as these other reviews that said it is excessively expensive, not true. Lunches are $15-20. Apps are a little pricey. Nice beer selection in the $8 ish range. Forgot I wanted to get a pan dessert, next time. I paid using InKind and got a nice discount.

Brussels sprouts were burned and tough. The two servers spent more time talking to each other, joking and laughing, than paying attention to customers. Not recommended. (Photos attached.)

I ordered a hot dog and onion rings. The hotdog didn't look great but tastes amazing !! The onion rings appeared well seasoned and cooked. Welp, they were cooked perfectly. 0 seasoning. Not even salt and pepper. They had over 20+ milkshake flavors, sandwiches, and tenders. Nevertheless, I'd return to try a burger.

Walk in and the energy goes up a notch ...Nifty Fifty's is not for hushed conversationalists it's all about quality fast food fun! I had not had a milkshake in ages and there were so many incredible choices. Before deciding I watched one of the workers pouring milk into the milkshake machine ... a very good sign. Our server was smiling ...had a non stop smile, another good sign and she advised us to go small on the fries (We had debated one large for the two of us but right after she said go small a server walked by with a large fry order ...it could feed six of me! Good advice from the server ... another good sign!). They also have "the world's largest soda machine." I doubt it's the world's largest but it allows for some really creative drink choices! The food was awesome ...perfectly cooked, fries were great and that milkshake was drink with a spoon thick. When I asked for a glass of water our server apologized for not asking me if I wanted one earlier ...no need to apologize but that's top notch service. An absolutely fun place to eat classic fast food at a reasonable price!

I recently dined at Taverna and had a genuinely pleasant experience. I'll start with the service…read more The waiter was attentive throughout the evening and he paid special attention to my shellfish allergy. Also, if you've read my prior reviews, you know I always want my water glass filled and the waiter made sure that was the case. It's a small detail that added to the overall comfort of the meal. The ambiance of the restaurant was warm and inviting, creating a relaxed setting for dinner. The food was well-prepared and flavorful. The veal meatballs were tender, the olive oil and sun-dried tomato dip for the bread was unique and yummy, and the mushroom agnolotti stood out as especially delicious. In fact, I can't wait to go back and have it again. Also, since it was Valentines weekend they added a cute little lips design on top of my drink. Another memorable touch was the mini firework placed on the butterscotch custard to celebrate my birthday. It added a bit of fun to the end of the meal and made the occasion feel special. My partner had the cannoli for dessert and it was definitely enough for two! Overall, Taverna delivered a very enjoyable dining experience, and I would be happy to return.

They sell a lot of their own merch so that's what you first see when you walk in. They have a bar area as well. The dining area towards the back is very spacious. And they have seating to accommodate small-large groups. The dim lighting adds to the calm vibe of the restaurant. The service is so fast. I feel like every item came out so quickly. And the servers checked in pretty frequently to clear the table, ask you if you need another drink, dessert, etc. it did feel a bit rushed. As a starter they give you their Ciabatta bread and the sun-dried tomato oil. The oil was DELICIOUS. I literally bought a jar to take home. For my drink I got the Fresca. It was good, very refreshing. For my entree I got the Linguini & Clams. It was good, could've used a bit more salt but the sauce was good. For desert I got the boozy affogato and it was delish. Would definitely dine here again if I'm ever in the area.

Service was fine. Restaurant was clean. I ordered the Cajun Pasta It was described as this:…read more"Grilled chicken, shrimp and Andouille sausage, penne, Parmesan cream sauce, shallots, garlic, white wine, Cajun spices, Calabrian peppers" The cream sauce was a curdled paste. It was less a sauce and more of a discolored lumpy paste. The dish./meal was cold in some spots and hot in other spots - the shrimp was rubbery - so it was obviously microwaved. It was not made fresh. It was absolutely disgusting. Over all, it felt like an insult - uneatable and unpresentable. Whomever cooked it should be ashamed to allow such a dish to go out into the dining room. It was completely unacceptable. I had been to this restaurant a few times before as my wife likes it. My only other problems were that they occasionally served cold french fries. I am done with this place. I had originally heard that the people who opened it were part of a group that had successful restaurants and cared about serving good food. It is not that now. Until I hear otherwise, I will never return... not even if it were free. The waitress said she'd get the manager - but the manager never showed. I did not have to pay for the Cajun Pasta...
