This restaurant is family-owned. It is self-service. You walk up to the counter to place your order. I was hoping to get a glass of water, but all drinks are bottles for purchase. Luckily, I had 2 fresh water bottles in a cooler in my car. Parking is very convenient, just in front of the restaurant. The people working here are very welcoming. The seating was comfortable. (Please see photo's below.) The food was excellent! Will definitely be back!!!

Beautiful, huge, and fresh battered fish and shrimp tacos!!!

Great first experience. Service was friendly. We ordered to go and were not disappointed! Flavor, presentation, and the price for the portion sizes are 5 stars for me. We'll be back to try more menu options :) I just wish they added more that 1 lemon slice on the side. Wasn't enough for me and my two tacos personally but not upset about it since I always have some at home.

We had a 16th birthday party for my daughter and Pena's Tacos did the catering! They were amazing, they set up cooked and broke down! We had Chicken, Beef and Pastor...they provided the utensils, plates and napkins! It looked awesome, such a professional set up! The food was awesome! Tacos, burritos and quesadillas....so delicious! Highly recommend! Thank you for making our party a delicious one!

My son was super happy with Peña's food & service!

We hired Pena's to cater our son's graduation party and I cannot say enough great things about them! Arturo and his team make fantastic food - everybody raved about the quality! All the tacos were out of this world, and they even make their own tortillas on site! Pena's supplied all the cooking equipment, condiments, paper plates, and utensils so it made hosting so much easier. I will definitely use them again, as will many of our guests. Highly recommend!

A delicious fish burrito. I recommend this dish!

Are the potato tacos mashed potatoes?

We just hired them for a party - forgot to ask if they will bring their own tables for set-up. I'll call later but just curious if anyone here knows?

What's the number to order? This number on here goes straight to voicemail

A couple weeks ago, I called too and it went straight to voicemail. But since I was nearby, I went in the lot and they were open.

    Do they deliver?

    Unfortunately not.

I was even able to save it for the next day. the wait for the food is not long at all. im glad i finally decided to give them a try. I am most definitely coming back to try their noodles!

My first visit to King Tut's Hibachi food truck was amazing. The food was seasoned perfectly, the rice was cooked properly & the filet pieces were big, generous chunks. The portions are very fair for the prices, two people can easily share one plate. I left impressed, happy & excited for their small business. However, after going back several more times, the inconsistency has been disappointing. On multiple visits, the rice was undercooked & grainy. I actually called the owner directly about it because I didn't want to leave a negative review, I wanted him to have the opportunity to fix it & be aware of it directly. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem like much has changed. Last night was especially disappointing. The rice was undercooked again, & filet was cut into very small bits. It had so much pepper & salt that it wasn't edible, all I could taste was pepper. You couldn't even add the sauces on top because it would have made it even saltier. It honestly felt like a waste of $88 on two plates. The flavor was completely unbalanced compared to my first visit. There's also a pricing issue with the menu that customers should be aware of. Ordering a plate of double filet & a plate of double shrimp (to share at home), costs about $5 more than ordering two filet & shrimp combo plates. The receipt didn't provide a breakdown either, so as a customer you really have to study the menu & structure your order carefully to avoid paying more for essentially the same amount of food. I brought this to the owner's attention. He did offered $5 cash back, which I appreciated, but the real issue is not being able to fully trust the pricing structure. The owner is genuinely very nice, that's why I've given multiple chances & brought up concerns directly to him. He does seem like he's taking down feedback when you mention issues with the food, but when you come back & don't see improvement, you start to question it. As a customer, I need to be able to trust the pricing structure & expect consistency in the food. I truly hope they improve because when it's good, it's really good.

Our family of 4 usually orders the family meal with 2 lbs of shrimp, 1 lb of mussels, Cajun fries, and the spicy Boss sauce -- always so good! However, over the last year or so with the new ownership, I've noticed they've been giving less sauce, and now I usually have to buy an extra side with my order. There was also an employee who told me he wouldn't serve me unless I took my water bottle back to the car, which felt unnecessary and uncomfortable. We had two separate servers because one went home during the middle of our dinner and both were equally horrible. Not even exaggerating when I say we waited at least 15 minutes after we asked for the check and there were probably only 10 tables in the entire restaurant. And we had to call her back over to ask for a second time. SMH. The food although flavorful was so ridiculously priced it was not even funny. I got a "ribeye ". Was literally eight thin slices of steak, like 1" x 1" size for $42! No, I will not be coming back here for so many reasons. The view is great. Castaways is definitely not what it used to be in the way of quality but at least you get more and you get the view. But definitely not worth it going to this place. It was quite a frustrating evening. Also, if you do decide to go here, just bring a coat when it's a little bit cooler in the evenings cause it does get cold up here and getting the staff to manage the heaters correctly is a whole other frustration. Oh, and valet is your only option for parking up here. It's kind of crazy because a few years ago you could just go park in the lot or the garage that's available there but now they're charging you $11 and it's chaos. I will say that the view up here is great though so if you're willing to forgo all of that for a view for like a one time date or something like that, it might be worth it

Let's start with the Cajun shrimp: perfectly cooked, tender, and absolutely drenched in a sauce so flavorful it should come with a warning label. Not salty, not greasy -- just balanced, bold, and outrageously addictive. You taste it once and immediately know someone in that kitchen actually gives a damn. And the crab legs... my god. HUGE, sweet, and steamed to perfection. You crack into them and it's like opening a treasure chest -- except instead of gold, it's pure, buttery, Cajun-kissed heaven. Now the sausage -- whoever seasons that deserves a raise. It doesn't just sit in the bag like an afterthought. It has its own flavor, completely over the top in the best possible way. Smoky, spicy, rich... it punches through the boil like it's auditioning for its own dish. But the real sleeper hit? THE GREEN SAUCE. Off. The. Chain. A straight-up flavor knockout -- bright, herby, tangy, and absolutely lethal in the way good sauces should be. It elevates everything you dip it in. I could drink it. I won't -- but I could. The whole experience? Different -- but in that rare, memorable, "I need to come back tomorrow" kind of way. Cajun Craving is easily one of the best seafood boils in LA.
