The flavor is FAN-FREAK-IN-TASTIC! The taste of their mesquite smoked chicken is on another level. You almost don't need sauce but THEIR SAUCE, IS MAGICAL. I till this day have not been able to come close recreating what they make. It's so good, I mean SO GOOD. Sometimes it's got a crazy kick sometimes it's a bit more mellow. Whatever they do to that sauce is one of kind. There isn't one like it. ANYWHERE BUT HERE. Worth every dollar! The family is so humble, they are always smiling and so thoughtful! The indoor seating is a little small, but the service is quick. The lady brought our plates to our table and everything was fresh. Once I tore into the chicken, it was still smoking. Meaning there was a steady stream of steam coming from the chicken. Cause it was just pulled off the grill. I had to let it cool down for a while. The amount of food was enough to keep me full for the remainder of the day. 2 piece chicken, 2 tacos with rice and beans, makes me feel like I'm at a backyard bbq. The prices are really reasonable, and there's even a person grilling the chicken right outside of the restaurant! You have to walk past him when you walk in. It doesn't get any fresher than this! I've been coming here close to 15 years now and it is still a gem of a place. The pollo a la brasa is consistently smokey and juicy. The seasoning is a dry rub with slighty spicy and salty. I love their red mexican rice and cole slaw with the combination of their fresh homemade tortillas with a splash of their house salsa. This is a family owned business and they are always kind and provide great service. They have chicken on standby for a quick service which takes about 15 minutes but if you would like chicken straight from the smoker it can take about 45-60 minutes. I have a buddy that has been talking this place up to me for nearly 3 years and I literally could walk here from my house, -eh, kind of a long walk- but just never got around to trying it until recently.
