Food was great. Portion sizes were great. The people running the location were friendly and polite.

The food was average, but the 2 stars is for lying to my face when I asked if there was an extra charge to process a credit card. Not sure why they thought $1 was worth lying about. And no, there was no room for misinterpretation. These people just have bad ethics. Would not recommend! read more

The absolute best, we always get the Birria to go. It's always a hit. I usually make my own rice and beans and grab a couple of large containers to go. always a good dinner. And the leftovers make breakfast amazing.. Love this place. read more

i looveeee this taco truck that's right on the spot of tujunga canyon! the people that work in this taco truck are soo nice! i don't speak Spanish but they make it work and i appreciate them for that! i stopped by this week for some birria tacos and wooow! it satisfied my cravings! i always prefer the crunchy taco shell instead of the soft taco. crunchy tacos dipped in the birria juice is heaaaveennnn. the birria meat was beautifully shredded and cooked. the juice was absolutely delicious. perfect for the cold weather that is coming up. most definitely recommend if you are craving birria tacossss! read more

Birrieria Las Gemelas - Food Trucks Near Me - Tujunga, California

I'd give 5 stars, but made the trip over twice again and the truck hadn't arrived yet... so I was bummed.... because it's so good. Get a large order of Consomme soup. It has meat. The small serving is for dipping tacos in. Get a couple birra tacos, and eat ASAP! There's a small table for curbside dining provided. We had those as a snack and had the soup for dinner with added veggies at home and rice.... I've been jonesing for more and just writing this makes me want to venture over to see if they are set up and serving! The people who run the truck are really nice and overall a 100% 5 star experience... when they are there for biz... guess I need to follow them on Insta. read more

Not bad, but not great. When we went over for lunch on a Friday, the mulita and tacos dorados tasted like they were cooked on a dirty grill, which is a pet peeve of mine. The consome was decent, but we prefer Del Taco's, which is saying a lot. If you're in the Tujunga area and craving birria tacos, this is your option. read more

So glad I found this place near the house. Great food, fair prices, nice service. Highly recommend.

My fiancé ordered the carne asada tacos and i ordered the birria plate. We are so mad we haven't tried this truck before! The food is amazing and the service was 10/10. The woman who took my order was very kind. I tried a bite of the taco and I am for sure getting that next time, it's hands down the best I've had here in Los Angeles. I 100% recommend! (: read more

Only Birria spot that does not give me heart burn. It's delicious! Everything on their menu is great! Birria Ramen on a rainy day def hits the spot!! Don't ever leave this area please!! read more

My first food truck, I didn't know I was going to a food truck! The food was prepared fresh as my daughter and I watched them! My daughter order the Birrira Ramon and I two tacos, they both were very good and the service was great. The price was reasonable and had a nice lunch there on the sidewalk, couple chairs and a little table clean! We enjoyed ourselves. read more

Big fan of tacos dorados Great service too They load up the plate for a great price read more

Food was great, tasty, reasonably priced, portions are huge. I really dig the birria ramen idea, very clever, and it works. Tons of flavor, the torta was good, nothing fancy, but good. A restaurant right down the street charges $6 more for a torta and it's probably half the size. It's becoming a pretty regular stop for me. read more

I got a little sample bowl of their birria which the guy kindly offered...it was yummy! The next time I got sone tacos...I wanted more! There's a special flavor to the birria here which makes it so savory and delicious! I dare say it is probably something you shouldn't eat often because it is so rich, but I'm thinking about going back just writing about it - making my mouth water! read more

Great food. Got a burrito and let me tell you, it was huge. I would say 2 people can eat it and be full.

Good taco suave, I will be back for more! The ramen looks amazing! I have never had a Mikita, so that might be next

All their meat is amazing. Flavors on point. Generous portions. Frequent customer. Thanks for the good eats!

Possibly the best taco truck / Mexican food in the area. I rarely eat in the area because there is just not many good places but ever since I tried this spot I seem to keep coming back. The spot is in a good area can easily park at smart and final and walk to the truck. The staff are all friendly and provide great service. I'm assuming most take food to go but they do have a table set up with chairs where a couple people can sit to eat there. The birria tacos is their specialty and they are great Id suggest to get the crunchy ones. They add a good amount of meat to the tacos, quesadillas, or anything you order. Overall will keep coming back. read more

Bought 3 mulitas and got no grilled onions! For the price they charge they need to include everything!

Passed by this taco truck many many times never stopped, today we decided to stop:) The food was very good (just a bit salty) and portions were huge, but the service was great and very friendly. read more

I ordered tacos dorados, mulitas, and the consomé and it was delicious! This will be my new go to spot.

Passed by this truck numerous times but finally stopped a few months ago. As another reviewer mentioned, there aren't many authentic taco joints in this area. But this truck is great! Generous portions and a great price. Have I had better? Yes. But are they local and cheap? No. I'm happy to come here once a week for their great birria taco's and consume which is a must! Staff is always friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended! read more

Friend of mine suggested trying the ramen and it's fantastic!!! Got 4 for the whole family to try and they all enjoyed it. Will be going back to try other items on the menu!! read more

It was the most amazing tacos and tostada! Probably one of the last deals available out there! I got two tacos with consume and a tostada, beans on the side- and I have to take some home. Loved it! read more

Stopped through on the drive home to Sacramento. Delicious Birria and I honestly haven't had anything so delicious before! Do yourself a favor and stop by this amazing food truck! read more

Man Tujunga has a lot of mid and horrible Mexican food places but this place is the outlier. Everything here tastes amazing. Not only that but the amount of food you get for the price is unbeatable. The Berrieria quesadilla, burritos and even the normal none berrieria tacos are fire. Last but not least great customer service. read more
