Horrible customer service. I called once to ask what the lunch special was to which the older woman on the phone gave me two options (tacos dorados and enchiladas). All I asked was what it came with to which she replied rice and beans. I told her I would call back in a few minutes to place my order. The reason being I am taking a lunch order for my office. When I confirmed with my coworker and called to place the order the same older woman was very rude and told me she doesn't have time for all these questions to only call when I was ready to order. Which is exactly what I was doing. I told her ma'am this is what I'm doing, calling to place an order. She replied well you called me 3 other times asking all these questions. The huevos con nopales, beans and rice tasted similar to how a family member might cook them at home. The coffee was large size and served in a mug, and the tortillas were handmade with yellow corn. The worst place i have ever been to. The workers had attitude from the moment i walked in. I asked a simple question about their fried fish. One of the hidden gems in Sunland/Tujunga. Some of the best Mexican food I've ever had. Family ran, everything is fresh and cooked right there in front of you. The menu choices are extensive, everything looks amazing (they have pictures) and every time it's hard to choose. On its signage, Los Arcos boasts its authentic Mexican food. Did it deliver? Well... it certainly did with its burrito! Nom nom nom nom... This morning I was craving for a good breakfast burrito, but my favorite Mexican restaurant across the street does not open 'til noon. Darn it! Los Arcos became my saving grace. Thank goodness! The establishment sits quietly along Foothill Blvd. The exterior is quite humble. Other than the signage, it doesn't stand out as much. What it lacks on the exterior, however, makes up for the appetizing aromas from the kitchen and delicious burritos. Hence I ordered the breakfast burrito with carne asada and Jarisco soda to suppress the hangry beast slowly breaching from inside of me. The burrito satisfied the hunger. And Ursula, my hangry alter ego, settled within. Only one thing irked me, they did not have pickled carrots. For me, it's a must for any burrito meal. A young Lady was in the back behind the counter, and when she brought out chips and salsa, I asked for one separate from the other 2 friends, and she never brought it. *More importantly, I was GROSSED OUT because I saw her licking her fingers while eating, and then she handed me napkins without washing her hands first. When the owner is there, the service is awesome. Other times, such as today, when another took my order, the result was disappointing. I have been coming here for years, especially on taco Tuesday. Of course, prices are lower on Tuesday due to the occasion. I ordered 12 tacos and a drink. Prices for all of this normally averaged around $18. I was asked for $33. Are you serious? I said today is Taco Tuesday. Is this not done anymore? Again, even after haphazardly acknowledged, she again said $33. I said no, your math is wrong. She then said $21. I reluctantly paid. I asked for cheese on my tacos. When they came out, guess what? They had no cheese. She then said I was not charged for it. Is this a joke? We live right next next door and we frequent their taco Tuesday special on a regular, but today was a VERY disappointing visit. My husband and I ordered 12 tacos, mine with everything and his just plain with cheese only. The lady said it was going to be $33 dollars for 12 tacos.. mind you we got NOTHING else, just tacos. Unfortunately this review is based on my last experience with them. We ordered delivery since it's clearly stated that they deliver. No sign of them after 40 mins we decided to call back. When we call back the lady says she got busy and won't be able to deliver so to just pick it up. Then 20 minutes after that she says she can finally deliver it. 20 minutes after that we call back and ask what was wrong now. She said the guy couldn't find us . of course he couldn't find us! The lady never even asked for our address!! When he delivers the food no apologies for the wait and also tries to make it seem like it's our fault . They were not professional at all! I used to come here years ago when it was Bronco. I loved Bronco's chile rillanos and tacos. I came in the other day, craving crispy beef tacos, and hoping they'd be as good as they used to be. As soon as I walked through the door, I could tell Los Arcos was not going to be the same food as Bronco. I was a little disappointed to see that there were only meals on the menu. Nothing ala carte. I decided to order two meals for myself and 2 kids to share. One had 3 crispy tacos (I ordered shredded beef but got chicken) and the other was 3 fish tacos. Both came with rice and beans. It was way more than enough food to feed the 3 of us. The fish tacos were amazing! The fish was firm and fried to golden perfection. The toppings were the perfect compliment. Just a little cabbage, salsa and sour cream. I was a little disappointed that we got chicken in the tacos when I ordered beef, but my kids didn't mind and they ate them right up without even noticing it wasn't what they asked for. They also give you bottomless chips and a delicious green salsa. I think this is going to be one of my regular spots since I just moved to the area. And they deliver so I know I'll be taking advantage of that as well. read more

I ordered two carne Assad burritos one without beans. They wrapped the regular one in foil and the other in white paper so we know which is which. We, my wife and I, really really like the burrito. It was a bit spicy but it tasted really good! I think I was so hungry that I pretty much swallowed it whole, LOL. So you're probably wondering why it four stars instead of five. Well, not to get into too many details, but let's just say the next morning I had to go to the restroom very quickly and urgently. It is not what you really want to relate to the dinner the day before, but it is what it is. What I eat there again? I don't know I might try it one day what I recommend it to others? So today I place an order and take a chance on the shrimp tacos plate. 1. It's a $10 plate so I'm expecting good but not amazing..that's a give in.. 2. CHANGE the oil in the dryer throughout the day!!! It'll help in the long run!! The shrimp was hard and tasteless because the taste of oil oiled batter was overpowering. Good little find here in Sunland. They deliver in a two mile radius for $15 or more. We had the 3 taco plate (7.99). I had beef, it was good but needed seasoning. Added salt and salsa (I don't normally add salt) and they were good. We also had the Chile Relleno plate (9.99), the cheese filling was good, the outside breading had a little bit of old oil taste. They just need to change the fryer oil a little sooner. The rice was very tasty and seasoned well, and the beans were actually pretty nice. They have a small dining area, clean and spacious enough to not be on top of the other diners. The sun was starting to come through the windows and they do have shades, but it was hitting me in the eyes. You might want to choose a table that is not in the direct path of the window. They have 2 TVs on the walls. If you check in on Yelp you get a free soda or Tamarindo or other Mexican drink. This was very nice to have it be self serve and all you can drink. All in all, not the best food, but we have lots more to try and the fact they deliver is great! read more

So we went hiking and the kids were starving, so this was one of the first places we saw. I thought the prices were kinda high, i.e.: $9 for a bowl of Menudo, but I guess everyone is getting expensive. My wife liked the salsa they gave with the chips, but not me. She liked the roasted taste, I thought it was kinda watery. They do have hand made tortillas. My daughter got tacos, they were decent size but the one she gave me had a couple of pieces of gristle, and I think they were skimpy on the beans and rice. the guacamole was just ok, like a couple other people said need more seasoning, but at least they gave you some and better less salty than too salty. The service was decent. My wife and I got Tortas, the flavor was good, bread tasted good, but I thought it was skimpy on the fillings. I've had better. Our friends shared a Quesadilla which was good sized and she said she liked it. The place seemed clean enough, including the restroom which you need to get a key for. They had 2 TV's with sports on. Sometimes I wonder how these places are in business?? I ordered a shrimp tostada, 3 tacos and nachos for my daughter. The tostada was a pile of cucumber with 2 chopped up shrimp on top, the tacos were skimpy and the nachos was a pile of cheese melted on chips, no love at all.
