Best Mexican food spot in the valley!!! Flavor wise nothing beats it in my opinion. It's that great. The owners are amazing as well and all the workers. Great authentic vibe. 10 stars

After a mountain adventure, my friend and I decided to grab a bite to eat at Los Arcos. Not sure if I caught them on an off day, as the service and food wasn't as great in comparison to other establishments. Customer service could improve a bit. Maybe the woman at the counter was having an off day -???, who knows. Either way, she made a mistake with my friend's order and seemed to be reluctant to give me the free medium drink with Yelp check-in. I ordered a shrimp burrito wet, cost around $9-$10. Had a good amount of shrimp. Red sauce and I had a side of green sauce, are both made for people who can't take the heat. I love heat/spice. No free tortilla chips here, just FYI. Located in a small corner strip mall, free parking. To-go orders and some outdoor tables, chairs available to eat there. Stay safe and healthy (mind, body and soul) Yelping out there :)

One of the hidden gems in Sunland/Tujunga. Some of the best Mexican food I've ever had. Family ran, everything is fresh and cooked right there in front of you. The menu choices are extensive, everything looks amazing (they have pictures) and every time it's hard to choose. The restaurant is very clean and very nicely and authentically decorated, it feels like you are in a village somewhere in Mexico. Again, I have to say, the menu choices are amazing! They are also on Uber Eats!

On its signage, Los Arcos boasts its authentic Mexican food. Did it deliver? Well... it certainly did with its burrito! Nom nom nom nom... This morning I was craving for a good breakfast burrito, but my favorite Mexican restaurant across the street does not open 'til noon. Darn it! Los Arcos became my saving grace. Thank goodness! The establishment sits quietly along Foothill Blvd. The exterior is quite humble. Other than the signage, it doesn't stand out as much. What it lacks on the exterior, however, makes up for the appetizing aromas from the kitchen and delicious burritos. Hence I ordered the breakfast burrito with carne asada and Jarisco soda to suppress the hangry beast slowly breaching from inside of me. The burrito satisfied the hunger. And Ursula, my hangry alter ego, settled within. Only one thing irked me, they did not have pickled carrots. For me, it's a must for any burrito meal. Other than that, I do recommend this humble Mexican treat.

My order that the got wrong because they didn't read the order right

The burrito's I ordered were good but NO SALSA was added to them, my wife and I both asked for extra red salsa and on top of it they gave us green salsa, if you want your food right DO NOT ORDER through Uber eats just go there and get the food yourself so you can watch to make sure it's right

We showed up at 8:40ish am on a Sunday right when they opened, excited to finally try this place after hearing good things. Parking was easy since we were some of the first customers there, and only two other tables were occupied. We walked in and stood around for a bit with no one greeting us. After waiting, someone finally told us to just sit wherever we wanted. We picked a table in the middle of the restaurant with a view of the kitchen, thinking it would help us stay visible so we would not get overlooked. Our party was five people. We started with coffees and waters. Just a heads up, the water is bottled Kirkland water so you will be paying for it, no tap water option. The cafe de olla was okay, but one person in our group had coffee grounds at the bottom. Also, that is the only coffee option, so if you need something without sugar, there is not really an alternative. We ordered menudo and chilaquiles, but when someone finally came to take our order, we were told they had run out of eggs. This was surprising since they had just opened. Service was slow even though the restaurant was not busy. When food started coming out, only two of the three chilaquiles arrived. After we got our chilaquiles, the menudo took another 25 to 30 minutes, so you will not be eating at the same time as everyone in your party, and that was only after we asked about it. When it finally came, it did not include the usual sides like onion, cilantro, oregano, or chiles. After a long time we asked the waiters for some sides and napkins too (never had any to start off), but nothing came. I eventually went up toward the kitchen because I kept seeing our waitress off to the side on her phone, not using the tablets for orders, so it was clear she was not busy. We kept checking in about the third chilaquiles dish and tried to be patient and polite about it. Eventually everyone else finished eating and that last plate still had not come out, so our fifth person just ate leftovers. When we asked for the bill, that missing chilaquiles dish suddenly showed up, well after we were done eating. We asked to cancel it since we no longer wanted it, but were told they could not take it off because the kitchen had already made it. To pay, you have to go up to the front instead of getting a bill at the table, and they ask you what table you sat at and what you ordered, which felt a bit confusing. After explaining everything, they did remove the charge without much argument, which we appreciated. While we were there, we noticed other tables having similar issues. One group waited a long time just to get menus, another had menus but no one came to take their order, and they eventually left. Another table also had to speak up about delays, though the staff did apologize. The food itself was good, but not good enough to make up for the overall experience. I really wanted to love this place, but the service needs a lot of work to match the quality of the food.

The decor filled with old black and white photos, the energy of the restaurant, and even having two full bars gave the place a fun, authentic vibe that instantly stood out. Our server was attentive, friendly, and made great recommendations. I ordered the carne asada with shrimp, and the flavor was incredible perfectly grilled with that smoky, straight off the grill taste that you hope for but rarely get. My girlfriend ordered the beef taquitos and loved them. We both had margaritas. I went with the classic on the rocks with salt, and she had the strawberry margarita, which was equally great. What really shocked us was how FAST the food came out. I kid you not... warp speed. Usually when food comes out that quick, quality suffers not here. Everything was fresh, hot, flavorful, and plated perfectly. Living in Hollywood, this honestly felt like a breath of fresh air: great service, quality food, strong drinks, and an overall experience that actually lives up to the reputation. By the time we left, there was already a line of cars waiting for parking, so I highly recommend arriving early for parking and shorter wait times. - Ian Lantz

Have to wait approx : 20 min to park in main lot. Husband and I ordered chicken and asada Burrito like always this time both salsas was a bit more spicy than usual . During the restaurant I started to feel nauseous I ate 1/2 my burrito took the rest home . I usually have a high tolerance with spicy salsa . the sour cream helped the spicy flavor tone down a bit for my spouse . When we both arrived home we started to have really bad stomach pain , for my self I threw up arriving home . I'm not sure if it could have been the salsa being spicy or the spices used in the salsa . Will definitely be in a look out next time and notify our servers salsas taste was off ..
