Amazing food! I had the burrito asada with Al pastor tacos. It's really rare to find great friendly service with good food. The meat tasted fresh ( I am very picky with red meat) and the tacos were seasoned just right. This will be my new lunch spot from now on!

Really good Mexican food at this whole in the wall! My bf loves their nachos and I enjoy their menudo. Their tortas are also very delicious! All at reasonable prices and good portions. Parking can be tough, but it doesn't take away from the review. Great spot!

Bad service, over priced, rude, and nasty food!!! Do not go here. I leave a lot of reviews on YELP and always try to give each restaurant the benefit of the doubt, but this place is horrible. 2 burritos for $30??? They were cold and nasty!!! I repeat do not go here ever!!! Shut this place down!!! THE CHIPS WERE STALE!!! just go to chipotle instead!

    Asada quesadilla

A small little hole in the wall place located in a strip mall which I had no expectations of besides getting something to eat while I was waiting at another business close by. I decided on getting the California burrito with asada as the meat and it had avocado, sour cream, rice, and beans. I can't say that anything really stood out besides it was a giant burrito and as far as flavor goes it was pretty good since I could taste everything in it and none of the ingredients stood more than the others. Sorry no pictures of the burrito but one of an asada quesadilla I got another time. Quesadilla was good and loaded with asada and cheese and was a pretty decent size.

    A "Carne Asada Super Burrito"

My family and I have been coming to this place for over ten years for a good reason, the friendly customer service and the great food. Well that was until a couple years ago when they began to quickly increase their prices. Today was my first time there in about six months and was not expecting to buy my most expensive burrito ( The price is now higher than many Mexican dine-in chains; e.g. Acapulco and Chevy's). Though the nostalgia from my past great experiences with Carnitas Michoacan told me to go along with my purchase expecting the usual high quality burrito. I was not expecting a burrito composed almost entirely of rice, cream, and beans. Note that my burrito was supposed to be a carne asada super burrito. I'm disappointed, and considering all the other options for better burritos for almost half the price, I probably won't be going anytime soon. Note that the prices on their pictures inside the restaurant no longer reflect the actual prices of the food. Expect to pay more.

    Berria! Hearty and flavorful

Sunday night cravings fulfilled! Originally we were going to order with postmates but since it was our first time trying Carnitas Michoacán we decided to drive down the street instead. Delicious delicious food and friendly staff. We ordered the Berria- flavorful and tender meat perfect comfort meal for cold nights (too bad it was almost 80degrees outside) also ordered the pastor burrito and a Care asada taco combo plate served with rice and beans. The pastor was perfect crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. We will definitely eat from Carnitas Michoacán again especially since they are on post mates. Yum!

killer torta! (this one with extra lettuce and tomato)

Very nice! Glad I took a chance (based on Lou R.'s review) Tacos, Burritos, Tortas, etc. Big lunch-counter style menu, I got the Asada torta. The chopped asada had a little fat, but nothing bad, and the overall flavor was fantastic! I would recommend anyone who likes traditional (not American-Style mexican) Mexican food to drop by when you are in the area. I will be going there about once a week (near my work)

If I could give this place 0 stars I definitely would. This place is OVERPRICED for the quality of food you get and on top of that they still charge you $1 dollar if you are paying with a card. I ordered the taco dorado plate and let me tell you the beef has to be extremely old I'm beyond positive Taco Bell gives you fresher ingredients then this place and for half the price. So if you want to pay $17 dollars for an horchata and some crunchy tacos you could get at Taco Bell then this is the place for you. Definitely never coming back here again and would not recommend this place to anyone.

    Nachos
    Charlie D.

Great authentic Mexican food! I ordered the Nachos Supreme and a 3 taco plate, the total came out to about $13. Everything was fresh, seasoned to perfection, and beautifully presented. The nachos we're covered with just the right amount of beans, cheese, beef, salsa, and slices of guacamole. The Tacos were filled high but not messy, and came with a side of beans and rice. Don't let the hole in the wall look discourage you, this place has top notch food and my new favorite Mexican food spot in the valley.

    Delicious Tacos!

From food to customer service it's all bad. Carnitas are not freshly made and taste old.

Horrible. It's kind of hard to mess up a burrito. Dry, old meat. Definitely not good and will not be going back.

The decor filled with old black and white photos, the energy of the restaurant, and even having two full bars gave the place a fun, authentic vibe that instantly stood out. Our server was attentive, friendly, and made great recommendations. I ordered the carne asada with shrimp, and the flavor was incredible perfectly grilled with that smoky, straight off the grill taste that you hope for but rarely get. My girlfriend ordered the beef taquitos and loved them. We both had margaritas. I went with the classic on the rocks with salt, and she had the strawberry margarita, which was equally great. What really shocked us was how FAST the food came out. I kid you not... warp speed. Usually when food comes out that quick, quality suffers not here. Everything was fresh, hot, flavorful, and plated perfectly. Living in Hollywood, this honestly felt like a breath of fresh air: great service, quality food, strong drinks, and an overall experience that actually lives up to the reputation. By the time we left, there was already a line of cars waiting for parking, so I highly recommend arriving early for parking and shorter wait times. - Ian Lantz

I only leave 1 star off because I wanted more flavor in the grilled fish taco, I ended up hitting it with salsa and lemon to get something more from it.
