The menu was interesting, a fusion of different Latin American foods. I saw a few mentions about the milanesa, so went with that. The food came out quickly and on first glance everything looked good. Then noticed that there was only one very thin slice of breaded meat, which turned out to be way overcooked. It came with mayo, lettuce, tomato and avocado. They brought out salsa and jalapeños on the side. The food turned out to be pretty blah. The toppings seemed limited and the salsa was watered down and lack any sort of heat or flavor. The staff was friendly, but at the end of the day this torta was not worth the $13 that was spent.

We walked across the street and bought one Al Pastor taco. It was one of the best I have tried, the meat was a little crispy, tender and flavorful. I was looking to see if there were multiple locations and I found one closer to home but I noticed the Yelp has it as a La Poblainita truck so an extra "i" in the name. I didn't notice at the time and drove out to try the Al Pastor and Carnitas tacos. The Al Pastor tacos were pretty good, almost like the one we tried on Melrose. The Carnitas taco had tender meat but it was saltier than most other taco trucks. I also tried an Al Pastor Quesadilla which was excellent, the cheese was melted and stringy mixed with slightly crispy and flavorful Al Pastor meat. The pictures of the truck show the name as La Pablonita but Yelp shows the name as La Pabloinita. Either name, the food is pretty good and I plan to keep it on my list of street tacos nearby.

I'd read reviews about the pupusa, so that's the number one reason I stopped by, but when I noticed the menu was quite large, I ordered a couple of other items as well, so then I would have a better overall opinion of their offerings. The staff was pleasant, the service fairly quick, the prices are fair, and the food was filling and good.
