And then the King Trio: King crab legs, Dungeness clusters, shrimp, potatoes, and corn. There was a great amount of King crab, and we added an extra Dungeness cluster, so it was definitely plenty of food. Everything was cooked perfectly, though a few bites were a bit salty--but still delicious. We'll definitely be going back to try more dishes... and we won't try to walk in next time! The guacamole and the pico were fresh and tasty. For appetizers tried the Pistolette and were not overly impressed. The Boudin Balls and sauce were very good. I think they could have been a little spicier, but they were great. The bread pudding was just average in my opinion, but my wife loved it. My wife and I agreed that this will be one our go to stops when driving through Lufkin.

Our group of four adults loaded up with a platter of three pounds of bugs, a pound of shrimp, and extra corn and potatoes for everyone. We brought beer and soft drinks, and dug in. The crawfish were plump, easy to peel and devein, and seasoned to perfection. Shrimp were already cleaned and the shells were precut to make peeling a breeze. They were large, firm, and went great with the horseradish forward cocktail sauce. Potatoes were small and perfectly cooked, and were clinging to the wonderful boil spices and salt. Corn was a little soft, but delicious. After you demolish your haul, there's a washbasin outside to get clean, and they even have lemon juice to help stop the heat.
