I'm not the biggest fan of Chinese food, but my GF wanted it so we gave this place a shot. Had the orange chicken and pork fried rice and she had the hot and spicy beef. Came in tonight because my usual Chinese food spot was closed due to covid-19. Inside workers were all wearing masks and there was glass separating the customers from the cooks. Food was average, typical for a local Chinese restaurant. As usual I opted for all white mean general tsou's chicken, and I was glad they actually include hot peppers which most places no longer do. My complaint is the size of their dumplings. I attached a photo to show you how small they Actually are... almost bite sized. If you like to share them as an appetizer just be aware they are smaller then normal. They did however taste good. Overall not a bad spot to grab lunch or dinner. read more

Decent standard chinese takeout. They get the food ready fast too. One thing I really like here is their vegetable dumplings; really big, crunchy and tasty. One thing they can improve on is they never have paper plates. Really cheap to not give four measly paper plates with a $40 order, cmon guys, break the bank and buy some paper plates. This used to be our favorite place and we ordered from here once a week. I just recently called in our order one night and the son who was answering the phone that night was less than friendly. As always, we would call and give them our card number over the phone and would always leave a $5.00 tip upon delivery, On this particular night when I said I wanted to place our order to be delivered and put it on our card he replied "cash is better". I told him again I wanted to put it on a card he again replied "cash is better". I asked him if his machine was down? and only at that point did he ask what our order was.........I told him no thank you and he can remove us from his list of clientele. I feel bad for his parents because they have a nice place with good food and are always friendly, but he just rubbed us the wrong way. Today was my first time trying this Chinese place and I'm very pleased. I ordered on an app but the food was great and the delivery man was very nice. He was even wearing a mask and gloves when he dropped the food off. The sweet and sour chicken was awesome, as well as the shrimp fried rice, egg roll and I also got an order of the crab rangoons. I'm normally very picky because some places make the rangoons taste sweet and I never liked them like that. These were full of cream cheese and tasted very good! My wife and I recently relocated to Wappingers Falls. It took us about 3 months to find "our pizza place", and another 2 months to find our "dive bar". We were recently driving up route 9 when my wife goes "Uuugh, I'm so stressed. We're still in that 'we don't have a good Chinese place' phase". Well, I'm glad to report that those days are over. Peeking Court does a great job with Chinese food. They're also the nicest Asians I think I've ever come across. They do have white meat chicken which is great if your wife is anything like mine. All around tasty Chinese food. Not too doctored up, and never bland. Our recommendations: Beef Lo Mein (get it a little extra spicy) Fried or boiled dumplings Scallion pancakes Bourbon chicken General Tso chicken(did anyone ever check his military credentials?) 2 liter coke They also do online orders which is super convenient. Do not like this restaurant at all. The egg rolls are small and tasteless, the dumplings are about the size of walnuts and the cold noodles are just peanut butter on top of noodles. The portions are small and a bit on the expensive side for what you get. My go to Chinese restaurant is Chang Ying but it was closed, So I tried this place, never again! read more

I really hate to give this restaurant a poor rating, but I have to. The only reason this is getting a 2 star instead of a 1 star, is because the staff is very friendly. The food is nasty. The General Tso's Chicken has a thick nasty breading. Mongolian Beef was no different than Beef Broccoli. All the sauces tasted the same. I bought dinner to take home last night from Peking Court..the food is always good but i have to give them kudos for their customer service this time around. When the guy rang up my order, he mistakenly hit "refund" in his machine. They apologized and then charged me double to make up for the refund. I was really hesitant but they explained, gave me copies of everything and told me to call them if there were any problems at all. Well, this afternoon I get a phone call from them (they had my number which identified my order last night). They asked whether the account was ok and wanted to make sure the charges were correct and again asked me to call them if there were any issues. I never expected the follow up and I'm really impressed that they took the time to do that!! Excellent. read more
