Good food, Try their Beef Lo Mein. It's very flavorful and doesn't require any additional sauce. I eat here often.

It's been a long time since we've had GREAT Chinese food in this area. We couldn't be happier having finally given Chang Ying on Rt. 376 near Mc D's a try. We ordered Shrimp Egg Foo Young, Cold Sesame Noodles, Shrimp Fried Rice, Fried Wontons and a couple Egg Rolls. All absolutely wonderful. Fresh tasting, freshly made, flavorful and perfectly cooked. Oh, and their homemade "hot" mustard was some of the best I've ever had. Everyone who works there from the teenager at the counter who took our order, the lady who rang up our order, to the cooks and even the delivery driver with a pretty nicely hooked up Dodge Dart were awesome. Great people, great food and our new go to Chinese restaurant. Thank you everyone at Chang Ying on Rt. 376, we'll be back for sure. Oh yeah, and they deliver! read more

I like the food here. This is my go-to for Chinese food now that Chen Young is gone. The only complaint I have is that I made an order recently and when I got to the restaurant, they told me that they never got my order. I called and spoke to a woman and it was the correct phone number. I made sure afterwards to make sure that I wasn't the one who made the mistake. I will be back though. read more

Chang Ying is back and better than ever! After being closed for covid-19, I was finally able to grab dinner at Chang Ying this week. This is one of my favorite spots locally for Chinese food. Portion size is great and food tastes fresh. I dont know if staff needed a vacation, or they did a deep cleaning of the restaurant while closed, but food was the best I've ever had there this past week. Rice was cooked perfectly, chicken was of good quality and the dumplings were fantastic! (Make sure you try their spicy dumpling sauce). I have been frequenting this place for years. It USED TO BE among the best. The good reviews from 2014 about pork fried rice having many extras like veggies and egg WAS true. I suppose the tragic inflation that has harmed so much of the restaurant and food industry and high food prices may have forced the budgets of many to have to trim their ingredients. The last 5 times I've ordered here have disappointed my entire family and me in that it's not the same exceptional place it used to be. If it changed owners, then the new one needs to worry about the Chang Ying name reputation being ruined. If the same owner is still there, then he/she/they need to look back and remember there are other places people can bring their business. Pork fried rice is supposed to be pork fried rice. The chef or owner should not make the mistake of thinking it won't be noticed if white rice is disguised with soy sauce staining that is it not by definition pork fried rice at all. I accept that prices went up a small percentage, but I do not accept deceptive pass-offs of poor quality food and makeshift faked dishes thinking if it looks like what it's supposed to be, that it will fool me or my taste buds. Please Chang Ying, come back to the winning success you once were. You were appreciated then and you should be able to do it again. Stop faking it and sneaking around ideas with the recipes and good work. read more

So I decided to give this Chinese spot a try. Realizing the gold standard is the excellent dumpling house in Manhattan. I ordered the regular favorites. Cold Sesame noodles, fried dumplings,Scallion pancake wonton soup and chicken with broccoli and garlic sauce. I started with the scallion pancake I took one bite and threw the rest in the garbage onto the fried dumpling more of the same one bite and the rest into the garbage. So the only items I did not throw away were the cold sesame noodles and the chicken with broccoli and garlic sauce they were at least edible but they were not good. If you're looking for a good Chinese food definitely skip this spot. Update half hour later Horrible indigestion three away all the food. read more

Chang Ying has decent quality food for the buck, especially around lunch time. The only downside is when they get busy, and they seem to not have good systems around timing (I was told one time 15 minute wait, but it took 40 minutes to get a lunch). I will say that lunch often comes out better cooked then dinner (not sure if its the kitchen staff, or the amount of time spent on the food). If you want good cheap food, this is the place. If you don't mind spending 1-2 dollars more per meal, you may find better locally. read more

If I could rate this NO stars, I would. One of the worst Chinese places I've eaten(barely) was from ever. You might as well eat it in the bathroom because that's where you'll be all night. My boyfriend and I decided to give this place a try since they deliver to our area through DoorDash. We ordered General Tsos chicken and boiled dumplings. The General Tsos chicken was so dark it didn't even look like chicken, sauce was ok but it seemed to be sitting there for awhile!! All the chicken was so stuck together that you couldn't even get a bite to take. The dumplings were alright, but there was so much dough on the outside compared to the stuffings. After a few bites, We just couldn't bring ourselves to even eat any of it. About 45 minutes later I started to feel very nauseous, next thing you know I'm hugging the bowl. Ordered for delivery on Friday, 9/9/16. We had 3 combination dinners plus two orders of shrimp toast. We had to call them back TWICE to find out where the delivery person was! We were originally told "45 minutes" but it was 2 1/2 HOURS until our food arrived!!! The lady on the phone just said, "Very busy, they coming" when I called her back. My Sweet and Sour pork was okay, but I thought the rice was extremely dry. The Roast Pork Egg Fu Yung (not my order) was said to be delicious. The Combo #17 (don't remember what he ordered) was also said to be delicious. I'd never seen Shrimp Toast where I come from, but those who ordered it said it was good. The Hot and Sour soup was hot and sour enough -- some places fall short on this. I had to dock several stars for the extremely slow delivery. No alteration to our bill was given either, which would be expected in a case like this. read more

Can you give zero stars????? Horrible mistake stopping to try this place. Ordered dim sum and house lo me in. Dim sum tasted gross and smelled like dog food. Lo me in had imitation crab in it and what I think may have been calamari. I would not recommend this place. read more

Chicken brocoli is yummi and so are the dumplings! We order from here at least twice a month and never had a problem.

We used to go here at least once a week but the aggravation of their not being able to put an order together without screwing it up became to much. One week it was Plain Lo Mein instead of House Special Lo Mein, another week, no rice was provided when it should have been and this week they left out the dipping sauces for the Dumplings. Each time they would deliver the errant items, put always an hour or two later. Terrible quality control and customer service. read more
