Hmm. So From reading other reviews, it seems that the restaurant is under new ownership... which is not a definitive reason for the lower rating update. But perhaps because of new ownership, the food has changed. Which is what brought my ratings down. My favorite dish from last time, the Ayam Goreng. I was super disappointed because this was no longer awesome. It was super buttery rather than crispy. And too sweet. So sad. Chicken Pad Thai. So I'm still trying to find a good TAKEOUT noodle dish. Restaurants don't seem to know exactly how to cook the noodles so it doesn't get overcooked when taken out. So it's probably perfect when eaten at the restaurant. Unfortunately all we've been doing lately is takeout because of covid... so the noodles were overdone. I've had lots of delivery noodles in Korea, and they are never overdone like this. So I don't want to give in to the idea that we should not expect too much from takeout noodles. Aside from the overcooked noodles, the pad Thai itself was a OK. Just a-ok. Sambal Udang This is the first time I've ever had this dish. But for some reason, I don't think this is quite what it would taste like in Indo. From TV shows, it sounds like this is a dish with some coconut flavoring, but there was none in this dish. It was just a mediocre stir fry with the ingredients listed in the menu with some kind of a sauce that was mediocre tasting. Different. Not attractive. And if you're not into trying authentic stuff, you might be thrown off by the tempeh. altogether it just didn't harmonize well. So, three dishes, three disappointments. Best part of the meal were the dessert donuts they give you instead of fortune cookies.

For the price, I would've imagine a bigger portion. The Egg plant with garlic sauce & Shrimp was the highlight. By far the best Garlic Sauce in the northern Milwaukee area. The other dishes, Lar Nar with Beef, Salt & Pepper Shrimp, and General Tso Chicken was average. Also, a 3.5% charge for using credit card. Overall, fresh ingredients but nothing special.

Hard to see, but the Sesame chicken and sweet & sour chicken were awesome. By some work of magic or wizardry the order was ready, a rather large order, in under 15 minutes. The whole gang loved it. Well done Peking Chef!

Love this place! Food is excellent and the family that runs it is super friendly! Sad news is that they sold it and will only be helping the new owners run it for another two months. We shall see if new ownership changes the menu entirely. A few items have already been taken off the current menu. Fined in for dinner with 6 in the party. Food came out quick and tasted great! Nothing but goodness!

Purely authentic south east asian food. Family owned and operated. Great service and food.

The restaurant is not particularly hard to get to without a car When I arrived there were several families eating and service was a little slow. But I wasn't in a hurry. I was thirsty so I asked for water and got a pitcher. I also had a milk tea that I liked. It was sweet but not overwhelming. I had the Burmese biryani with chicken. It was generously portioned and all the separate elements came together nicely--bone-in chicken in a curry, biryani rice, salad, and mango pickle. The people were very nice and I look forward to trying a few other dishes.

It's not easy finding flavors that truly taste like home, so I was excited to bring my Hispanic husband here to experience Malaysian food beyond my own cooking (which honestly doesn't do it full justice). We came during lunch and ordered the Nasi Goreng USA and it tasted exactly like home. The flavors were spot-on and incredibly comforting. While prices here may be slightly higher (which is expected when these dishes are made and sold in the US), the menu offers a great variety of Malaysian dishes that make it well worth it. The ambiance was also a pleasant surprise, it genuinely felt like being at a mamak back home. Overall, this place is a gem, and I'll definitely be recommending it to other Malaysians I know here in the States.
