The place had many tables filled so I would highly suggest going there with a reservation beforehand. Despite there being a good amount of people service was quick and all servers were very kind and attentive. Our waiter Steven made sure we were taken care of and everyone else were very kind. Our drinks arrived promptly, I will say there was some inconsistency in how our drinks were mixed since one of the vanilla drinks was sweeter than the other but other than that all drinks were delicious. The food on both times that I've been here was delicious with everyone at the table enjoying their meal. I've yet to have a bad experience here. Went to Arthur Avenue with a friend on a Sunday and decided to put together our own little "food…read morecrawl." Our first stop was Cosenza's Fish Market, and afterward we headed over to Bronx Beer Hall, which sits inside the Arthur Avenue Retail Market. The beer hall has a small bar with about six seats, a few tables, as well as some high-tops tables. I ordered the mulled wine, which hit perfectly after being outside in the chilly weather. The place was lively, lots of people walking around, grabbing food, eating pizza, and browsing vendors, so it made for a fun and easy stop along the crawl. The mulled wine was $12 and came in a paper to-go cup, which made it convenient to wander through the market while shopping. A cozy, energetic break between bites.

While waiting, I sipped on a Cinnamon Maple Latte, which was bold and strong, as well as heavy on the cinnamon, but could have used more maple and sweetness. My friend and I shared the Bread and Cornbread Basket, served warm with raspberry preserve jam and butter. The Bread was perfectly baked, fluffy, and well seasoned. Cornbread was glazed, giving it a slightly sweet taste, as well as crumbly in a good way. The butter made the breads richer, while the raspberry jam added a nice layer of flavor. For my meal, I ordered the Steak and Eggs, adding Truffle Fries, which were an additional $5. This also came with a small side salad topped with radishes. The Steak was tender, wonderfully juicy, and flavorful. Eggs were cooked over hard, just how I like them and made expertly. Truffle fries had a generous sprinkling of Parmesan and were delightfully crispy, with strong truffle yumminess. Salad gave a fresh element to the dish. Service was lovely. Our waitress was friendly and everything came out in a timely manner. Prices were decent. I would consider returning for dinner to try the Short Rib or Brisket Mac & Cheese.
