Well, while waiting for my food after placing the order over an hour ago that still wasn't ready for over 10mins past my pick up time 7:45pm... I saw a cockroach just roaming around... so that sucked. Had higher expectations for this place. It's just not an ideal thing to see at a food place. Update: Took a photo of the food when I got home. Fairly new to Pei Wei but have returned many times over the last few months. Much better than Panda Express in my opinion. Everything I have got has been good. That includes mongolian beef, mongolian chicken, bourbon chicken, kung pao chicken, tariyaki tofu, chicken egg rolls, and crab wontons. The portions are very big which I like. The only alteration I'd suggest is subbing the white rice in your entre with fried rice or lo mein. I just ate it yesterday and just talking about it makes me want to have it again today. I always do pick-up and haven't had a problem. My order is always ready and accurate when I come in. It even stays nice and hot by the time I get home. This store has 2 employees apparently one is an assistant manager in training and the other is transitioning into a managerial role. Names apparently are Caden and Jeff - one with long hair tall scrawny, the other short lean four eyes. The short one is the one who helped me and ran my second gift card after the first one went through for $20. He then ran the second card for a penny and said there was insufficient funds. He said this after he punched in extra buttons. Little does the man in the little boys body realize I checked the balanced before going in. So I walked out feeling suspicious. Came home and checked that he made a payment to someone through PayPal. I called PayPal got the name of the person he made the payment to, got the name that's on the account he added the card to, the time he did it, the location where it was done and some more details. :) They had the audacity to hang up on me, give me an attitude and all. I would've just let it go if they gave me back my money but now? Legal actions and everything is coming their ways and if I get the chance to drag their mothers and daughters, I will. Just reread my last review and see perfectly WHY we opted for carryout. I started with hot/sour soup which was okay. Seemed a little too thick. Definitely had much better. We enjoyed the wontons, but sauce seemed off. Hubby immediately threw out the slices of orange on his Wei Better Orange Chicken, full size. I ordered the honey-seared, small, and extra veges. We both ordered the very necessary "extra" sauce. (And I'll say this was easy -- their online ordering is great.) We got a little container of something. It was brown, so assume it was *my* sauce, but since that's all we got, I had to share & it was far better than the stuff for the wontons. Also, (see pix) I not only didn't get a "small", it had absolutely no crispy rice sticks and my "extra vegetables" were a few pieces thrown on top of a box already too full. When we actually get what we ordered the food is great. However, they mess up our order almost every time. We order through DoorDash quite often and always get the same thing- bourbon tofu with extra tofu and white rice. 9/10 times they give us chicken and not tofu. This is my go to place for take out! Love the flavors and consistency of the menu and the service. My staple dishes here are crab wontons with sweet chili sauce or edamame for appetizer, Kung Pao shrimp or chicken or teriyaki chicken for entree. One of my favorite things about Pei Wei is the ability to customize your protein and side choice with endless combinations. Also they are really good about letting you customize other things like adding or removing ingredients or steaming the protein instead of wok-searing or putting the sauce on the side. I also really like the Asian chopped chicken salad. Another way Pei Wei offers to healthy up your favorite dish is getting heritage greens instead of rice or noodles. The heritage greens are delicious and basically gives you the option to make any dish into a salad. I've also tried the dan dan noodles, and the thai dynamite... not very good in my opinion. The last time I went we were checked on several times by Andy Griffin/Griffith? Eventually the rolls sort of fall apart as you eat them, but that's what the extra peanut sauce is for - just mix up all the filling and enjoy!! We waited for approx. 30/35 minutes before our food came out. My meal was poorly executed as half of my fried rice was undercooked, and the chicken was cold and falling apart. My friends meal was cold as well, her tofu was burnt, and to cover it up they doused it in sauce making everything soggy. Extremely disappointed with this location and will not be coming back again. I had a pretty good experience because I asked for exactly what I wanted. I really like sesame chicken and decided that I liked it more breaded and fried, and they totally did that for me. Something changed, ayote wasn't clean, steak that was always tender was tough and grisly, mushrooms were little broken up bits and rice changed to cheaper quality. We ordered the pad Thai with shrimp, an Asian chicken chopped salad, and a pei wei original with tofu. The original requested lettuce rather than rice and extra veggies which cost more. The tofu was tough and chewy. Many tofu slices weren't cut and joined together in 3s. The lettuce was white. I didn't see any extra veggies. The salad was ok. The pad Thai wasn't eaten yet read more

Clean, fast service, good freshly cooked food. Great for lunch. Problem: the "new" menu at the restaurant. If you read the new menu, every dish but 1 is a chicken dish. Being allergic to chicken, this indicates an extremely limited selection for me. However, these are the "suggested" combinations, and every dish can be specified with chosen rice or noodles and chosen protein, just like the old menu. Because of the new menu setup, we almost left, but they were a bit slow and we were able to ask about the menu without waiting in line.
