Some of my favorite childhood memories was coming to this pei Wei and getting teriyaki chicken kids meal (no vegetables) and using the kids chopstick helpers. Coming back 10 years later, I am devastated to see this place has lost all originality, charm, and deliciousness. Please, go look through the first photos of this location posted on Yelp, and use that as inspiration for your next renovation. Also, this was the first place I had ever used a freestyle Coke machine, it was the most fun thing 10 years ago!! Now they just have regular ones... I will say, the family meals are a good value for how much food you get. Taste is eh though. But please please please revert your teriyaki chicken recipe back to the old one. I will reinstate my position as your #1 fan if you do (and bring back the vibes). read more

It's been a while since we have been to this Pei Wei. I noticed an immediate difference when we walked in. Very clean. The food came out hot, fast, and was tasty. On our way out, we met the manager, Jose, who I had to compliment about the condition of the store. He said he has been there 1.5 months and had focused on cleanliness. You can definitely tell. read more

We hadn't been to Pei Wei in quite a while, so after a long, hot day at the baseball fields, we decided to grab takeout. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The edamame was served cold and had no salt at all, and the pot stickers were also cold, doughy, and seemed undercooked. We expected a much better experience, especially from the Woodlands, TX location. Hopefully this was just an off day, because we'd like to give them another chance. read more

Pei Wei, what are you doing? Your stars are dropping I walked in and the remodel looks like a glorified fast food joint if I wanted to go to panda I would've gone there not impressed with the food at all. Prices are the same and the quality is less probably better at panda for the money at this point not sure I'll be back to this location here in Houston But may try another one while I'm on the road not happy with the new concept. The soup was horrible and the rice looks like #MIN made rice not very good. Sorry for the bad comments. I hate doing this to you. Your lettuce wraps won't make you guys survive alone read more

The people are so insanely kind here. I'm guessing the 1 star reviews are old, because every time I've been to this pei Wei, everything has been amazing. It's super clean, customer service is amazing, and everyone is really helpful. read more

We just had the best lunch! Dean, who worked the front counter and delivered our food, was so kind, knowledgeable and helpful. He made our experience even better. Watching him help and interact with other guests was also encouraging. He made this place so enjoyable! read more

Michael at the front counter tonight was incredibly kind. He noticed an elderly guest in line and personally helped him with his drink and sauces so he didn't have to manage it himself. A very thoughtful young man read more

The food was great and the donuts were so good. Dean was very pleasant from the start. Will definitely come back again.

Ethan did an amazing job. He was polite and went out of his way to make sure our Pei Wei experience was top notch.

I've been wanting Chinease food for a few weeks now. I've actually been having a hard time finding one I really like. I heard about Pei Wei so I decided to try it eventhough it's a chain. They also have added wings to their menu. Unfortunately. I only got pictures of one thing I ordered and that was the chicken lettuce wrap. I REALLLLLLLLLLLY LIKED IT. it was a little sweet and filling without feeling bad afterwards. We also ordered the orange chicken and general tso chicken with fried rice. I like those as well. My only suggestion to you is if you can, eat it while it's fresh as possible. If it has too long to sit, it gets kind of soggy-like. But if you like that, then great. Lastly we got the wings. They were all good BUT if I get them again, I will ask them to make them almost well done. They weren't cooked well. Some of them had raw parts inside. It made me sad because the flavors were good. Ambiance was good. It was clean and the customer service was nice. I ordered online, so it was a grab and go. Next time. I will sit inside. read more

Pei Wei Asian Kitchen - Chicken lettuce wrap. I didn't like the sauce it comes with. - Chinese Near Me - Shenandoah, Texas

Best Pei Wei I've been to in years. Staff/service were amazing and professional! Thank you!

I love Pei Wei, but this location stunned me to my core since every experience I've ever had at Pei Wei was phenomenal. When we first walked in, we weren't greeted or felt welcome. The cashier/expeditor only said "cash or card" and pointed to a register. I started to order after he typed some stuff in, he interrupted me and said "here or to go". We were stunned. I noticed while ordering he had AirPods in and that he couldn't HEAR ME!!! AND WAS SINGING ALONG WHILE IM ORDERING!!! I had to repeat myself a couple of times because he didn't hear my order. We got the food very promptly but the portion sizes definitely seemed smaller than other locations. We barely got any fried rice in the dish and the chicken was very dry. Once he dropped off our food, we noticed he was just playing on his phone sitting on the floor near the register area. If you want to go to a closer and better Pei Wei, we suggest going to Cypress' location. Very disappointed and hopefully something will be done about the horrible customer service we experienced today. read more

They did a great job with the food. The gentleman that was serving us, did a great job. We will definitely come back here.

Decided to visit Pei Wei again after many years. I was apprehensive- because i couldn't exactly pen point why I hadn't visited in such a long time but I once I received my order- all the thoughts of why I stayed away- came back! Even though the packaging with good- I proceeded with caution- once i got home. I was hopeful - but knew I made a terrible mistake. I ordered the lettuce wraps, pork egg roll, and the chicken noodle (lo mein), with added shrimp. The egg roll was edible, the lettuce rolls are decent- but the lo mein - goodness - it was so bad! I should have settled for top ramen - it literally had no flavor , the chicken was oddly cut and there was a milky substance at the bottom- I tried to eat it but I ended up Throwing it away. It was a waste - I see why it had been so long - unfortunately- I won't visit again. read more

Pei Wei Asian Kitchen - Changed my mind! Let's see how this goes! - Chinese Near Me - Shenandoah, Texas

It's been years since I have been here. I used to stop for the Crab Wontons which were delicious. I had two and a bowl Thai Dumpling Soup. The Wontons weren't the ones of yesteryear and Soup had no flavor. It was a big bowl though with three Dumplings. Counterstaff ordering is moved and were nice. It's a clean place, but the fortune cookies have changed too. They used to be orange tasting...not anymore... read more

Puzzled by the low reviews here. If you like pf changs, you will love going here. Same food, but served faster and cheaper. There are some items that are different and equally delicious, like the tofu options and the thai donuts. They do have beer and wine that are reasonably priced, unlike pf changs, which is getting too expensive. read more

Really like tofu here. Healthy stuff. They don't use MSG in anything-so you know it's fresh. Staff is very conscientious, especially the server guy. He's been working here awhile and works hard. read more

I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of food that came on the entree. I also like that the restaurant posts the calories, that in itself narrows the choices. For example, I would have expected the tofu to be lower calorie, but it was one of the highest. I ordered the chicken and broccoli, and couldn't finish it. Mind you, it was great, but there was a lot of food. The shrimp appetizer was very tasty. On the other hand, the pot stickers were served cold, not even warm. Perhaps that is how they are supposed to come out, but they didn't seem cooked. Nevertheless,I would eat here again, even though it seems like fast food. read more

Pei Wei Asian Kitchen - Broccoli and chicken, low calorie, but lots of food. LOTS! - Chinese Near Me - Shenandoah, Texas

First and last time customer. It looked like a food establishment without an identity.. the gentleman behind the counter there kept quickly eating something hoping not to be noticed. I noticed this after I already began eating and wondered if he's swiping pieces of food off peoples dishes or what. Highly disappointed to say the least. Really can't get over the fact the man was eating while plating the dish. Plus even thought they were wearing headgear there beards were definitely not groomed nor covered. Never once saw anyone switch out there gloves. read more

Not much to praise here. Business is very disorganized. The service is slow. The food is not tasty, but rather salty. I preordered my food online the previous day and still had to wait outside the restaurant for ten minutes. There were several people waiting ahead of me and behind me, as well. The general tso's chicken tasted artificial and I felt like I was chewing on deep fried plastic. The beef from the beef and broccoli plate tasted like burnt jerky. The chicken lettuce wraps were saltier than the Galveston bay water. The fried rice was dryer than a Popeyes biscuit. This joint should be rated number one in the worst "Chinese food" take outs. This is my second time ordering from Pei Wei and the experience worsens with every visit. read more

I had not been here for over 9 years, and I now remembered why, the food is very salty, and the service is poor. It felt like a run down restaurant. Never again read more

I ordered delivery online. It showed me "Being Prepared" to "Being Delivered" to delivery time at 7:52 pm...the time passed. I called to get the wait time origin and was told they do not deliver. They said it's waiting here, come and get it. Then was hung up on for asking questions pertaining to the establishment mishap. ----------- 8:35 pm called back and spoke to manager who acted as clueless as the nice girl who hung up on me. She said that they will have a delivery company deliver it. Even though the order was cancelled because she refused to comp a new meal. 8:52 pm Still not here. 9:57 pm Looks like the manager is a bold-faced liar. Let me guess, you voted for Brandon. read more

I don't know what's up with Pei Wei, but the last two times I've been, everything was made wayyyyy too salty. You are going to send some people to the emergency room w this shit. Bring the salt level down 4 notches...and one to grow on. You want people to live, don't you? So that they can continue to come back? Other than that, I still enjoy your "create a drink" machines. That Lime and Vanilla Ginger Ale be like whoa. read more

What can I say, this place is consistent. It's kinda like the McDonald's of Asian food. The place is clean. The service is good. The food is ok. Great place to bring the family for a relaxed easy going meal that's not going to break the bank and where most everyone in your group will find something to make them happy. I always like the Kung Pao Shrimp with a cup of hot and sour soup. While my wife gets the broccoli chicken in the salad option. This along with two drinks will cost about $22.00 out the door. read more
