Came out in search of good Padthai and was not disappointed. They actually have several noodle dishes of which you can pick out your protein and even upgrade the meal to include a large glass of Thai tea and two spring rolls. Also, they had a great appetizer section as well as soups and Thai salad. Fountain drinks are available if you are not wanting to tie try one of the Thai teas or coffee. Small location, but does have inside and outside seating. Order at the counter, but meals are brought to your table.

Finally a legitimate Thai food in Magnolia Montgomery area. Ordered Papaya Salad Lao style Black pepper pork (changed to chicken, they ran out) Chicken wing thai style Salad brought some heat so be prepared even with a mild spice. Fish sauce was pronounced but not overpowering Black pepper sauce is legit as I remember from all of the Thai restaurants I have been Wings were crispy and flavorful Service was excellent, place the order thru the counter and they will bring the food to your table Place is cozy We will be back for more

Our dinner last Sunday was hot and delicious! We live in the area and have been meaning to eat at Khao Soi since they opened. The ambience is very comfortable, inviting and nicely decorated. The staff was friendly and helpful in our menu pick. Khao Soi is a little gem hidden on 32907 Tamina Rd. We cannot wait to eat here again!

I ordered Magnolia Thai using DoorDash credit a friend sent me. I decided to do pickup since the…read moredifference was almost $20. It was ready on time, the people were so friendly. They tied the bags where it wasn't a quick open. Chile pissed me off so bad trying to open the bag to get my spring rolls to eat while driving home lol I also ordered Thai tea, red and yellow curries with chicken (level 3 spice), and cashew nut with shrimp. The food was pretty good especially the cashew nut; can't say the best Thai curry I've had but no complaints at all. It's good for the area and not having to driving all the way to Houston. I'd return; I went around 5pm and the dining room was empty. Maybe cause it was early.

Why 4 stars? Because this is another really solid Thai place in the area…read more --- --- --- I have had Magnolia Thai Restaurant bookmarked for an obscenely long time, and despite many close attempts, I had never visited until recently. It's weird that it's in Magnolia, but takes me more than 30 minutes to drive there, when Magnolia city limits start about 7 minutes from me. Magnolia, you're too big. The good news: we ordered tom kha and green curry, two dishes that are great for a pickup order because they were still borderline scalding hot when I got him. I did not try the tom kha but it got the seal of approval from the wife. I enjoyed my green curry - it was probably just a tiny notch down from my all-time favorites, so it hit the spot nicely. On their menu, it gives a 0-6 rating for spicy levels, with 0 being no spice and 1 being very mild. I went with 1 because I was a bit congested and just wanted a small hint of spice. It was a tad more than a small hint, but I am also a wuss with spicy things (not by choice, it's my body betraying me from enjoying things.) I ordered a mango sticky rice for dessert and it was standard. But standard mango sticky rice is still a good time. I also ordered a thai tea, and stupidly forgot to grab it when I checked out. I didn't realize it until I was already a quarter of the way home. RIP Thai Tea, I'll always dream of how you could have washed down that level 1 spiciness. I wish this place was closer, but I would happily visit again if I am in the area.

I never expected to witness outright discrimination, but unfortunately after several chances, this…read morepost has to be made. I went out with my friend, who has a professionally trained service dog from Guide Dogs of Texas. We have been to many restaurants in BCS since she obtained him. Upon sitting down, we were told we were not allowed to be in the restaurant because of the dog. When I clarified, "Even though she's disabled?" the staff replied, "Yes, no dogs of any kind." She was shown the ADA card and still did not care. This is a clear violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), which guarantees access for individuals with disabilities who use service animals. We were offered the chance to take food to-go, but since I vote with my money and obviously am not going to support a business that hates disabled people, we got up and left. They were told they would be reported and she said "Okay go ahead" I strongly urge the management of Kluay Kluay to educate themselves on the ADA. I will not be back. I will go get my pad thai elsewhere.

TLDR: 3.5 if I could. I'd give Kluay Kluay another shot, but get a different dish (maybe fried rice…read moreor a curry). Get it "medium" not "hot" unless you're getting oral surgery and need a preemptive local anesthetic. Overall, a nice restaurant but the location feels a bit "sketch" at night (I'd recommend going during light hours) and the food was alright - I've had life-changing Thai food in California, but Kluay Kluay might be the best in College Station ‍. I ordered the Pad Thai and Pad Kee Mao. I liked the Pad Kee Mao much more than the Pad Thai, but I didn't "fall in love" at first taste. Next time, I'd try fried rice or a curry (the pineapple fried rice or green curry looks good!). Don't mess with the spice! I'm used to eating spicy foods so I chose "Hot" (from mild, medium, hot, and Thai hot), however, it was just outside my comfort zone! I'd choose medium next time I went. Say a prayer for the poor souls who choose Thai Hot. The restaurant was very empty and there was only 1 server, so it felt a little lonely and desolate. The server was polite but kind of monotone - although maybe she was having a bad day.
