This right here is the most authentic and delicious Korean bites you can get in the Magnolia area!! We ordered half Yangyeom(gochujang based sweet and spicy sauce) and Pringle(Korean cheese dry rub seasoning) chicken. The Pringle flavor is not overly sweet and has a balanced cheese flavor which is very addicting!! The Yangyeom flavor was the perfect combination of sweet, spicy, and had a nice garlic kick to it. I would recommend asking for the sauce on the side if you're taking it home!! I still enjoyed the wings 100%, but they were a bit soggy. That is 100% on us as we didn't account for the extended period of time to get home due to traffic. Every piece of chicken was super juicy and cooked thoroughly!!! Now the heavy hitter on the menu was the bulgogi fries. The fries were super crispy despite being smothered in bulgogi, kimchi, and sauces. These are possibly the BEST loaded fries I've ever had. The kimchi on these fries was one of the best I've had. It wasn't overly salted, had a perfect crunch, and had a nice spicy kick to it. Overall the bulgogi, kimchi, crispy fries, and the sauces are the perfect combination for that Korean American fusion dish!!! The restaurant itself is pretty small, but they do have a seating area!! When we ordered it was only Mr. Park in the kitchen so please be mindful of that. You'll have to wait a few minutes as each order is made fresh to order and it takes time to cook these items. If you don't want to wait I recommend calling ahead and ordering so that the food will be ready when you arrive. The parking area is also a bit limited so be mindful of that as well!!! One of the few places with truly delicious homemade food. The owner is incredibly warm and kind, keeps his restaurant immaculate, and is a one man shop. He managed to do everything. Honestly, the bibimbap here is so yummy and the kimchi fries are amazing. The menu is limited but it makes complete sense, since it's one person, he's essentially specialized in making that handful of dishes. Ive tried chicken everywhere and this IS the best place in Houston (if not texas), Only place comparable are the LA and New york places, better than the ones in Houston (bbq, bonga). The chicken is fresh (not frozen), the yang-nyum sauce is real with real Gochujang, and the oil they fry it is fresh. The portions are huge for the price.. An absolute gem in the neighborhood. So, note. the Place looks like ghetto and it does take 20mins for the chicken (which if u do it right in Korea that is the right amount of time). I'm sure people will tell me I didn't order the right thing because the fried chicken is where it's at but I actually love Korean Bulgogi and was excited that they had a rice bowl available. I regret every second of ordering it though, because it was literally cheesesteak, chopped meat, and 90% of the bowl was white rice. There were no vegetables and only half a sauce drizzle. We ordered fried chicken with the soy garlic sauce and the bulgogi fries. So delicious and fresh. The flavor on the bulgogi fries was spectacular. Perfect mix of fry to toppings ratio. The chicken was so tasty. Well fried and the sauce added a layer of complexity I didn't know I needed. We then finished with the coffee rolled cake. It came with a scoop of ice cream and was the perfect finish on a hot day. We loved how clean the deck area was and you can tell how nice it probably is at night with the lights. The skin was nice and crispy and the meat was juicy. He gave me the garlic soy sauce and the yum yang sauce on the side. I like the flavor of both. The garlic soy has a hint of sweetness and the yum yang has a little bit of heat. The owner took the time to explain the heat of the chicken. He has tenders that don't have any heat. Even on a chilly night, we ventured out to this place, knowing there was no indoor seating but not caring. We wanted to try this fried chicken! We placed our order with the friendly owner who prepared our food on the spot in his sparkling clean kitchen. We sat at a table under heat lamps and happily stayed to enjoy our food while it was piping hot. The chicken was incredibly juicy, flavorful, and CRISPY CRISPY CRISPY! My wife has been craving bulgogi and kimchi loaded fries. This was the closest place which offered that. I paid for extra bulgogi which ran an additional $4. Even after a 20 minute drive home, the french fries were extra crispy and tasted great. The dish has the right amount of spice.
