He went above and beyond our expectations. We have never worked with anyone more professional or with as much attention to detail. Quality was always Kane's top priority. Loved the service beginning to the end with Kane Adkins! He is hands down the best! He genuinely listened to what we wanted and incorporated it in the design. We built a pool during the busy time of COVID-19 and called 8 different companies and he was 1 of 3 who called us back immediately and made an appointment. The cost was right where we wanted it to be, had no surprises added in and stayed in on budget with some upgrades that were amazing. The trades people were friendly and respectful and actually seemed to keep our yard clean from debris during the build. I would highly recommend using them. We knew people who did a build your own pool and the headaches they had to deal with is ridiculous! Pegasus is a 1 stop shop where you don't have to waste time micromanaging different trades. We're actively considering bids for extensive landscaping and a pool build for our new construction home. After my initial meeting with a Project Manager mid May, I have yet to receive any professional rendering of our plans, including a 3D CAD design. We've relied on Yelp for local referrals and all I can say is not to ignore the negative reviews. If vendors delay and keep rescheduling appointments, I don't see how they'll miraculously turn themselves around once you're a client. Perhaps business is too brisk in this area, but our project is quite sizeable in scope and magnitude. I don't see how vendors can afford to turn business away by their lack of follow-through. We'll work with a builder who truly takes pride in their work and builds strong relationships with clients. read more

We didn't end up going with Pegasus because we got a slightly (very slightly) lower bid elsewhere. However, I can't say enough good about Kane and Matthew. We have had our pegasus pool for awhile and we are very happy with the results! We got estimates from several pool companies and Pegasus really stood out! Out of all the companies that gave us estimates, Kane from Pegasus was the only one who physically came out to see our yard and was able to really come up with a fantastic design that worked well with our challenging yard. He KNEW our house, that stood out and so did his service, skill and involvement throughout the build - checking in on the site often, excellent communication throughout and very HONEST and open as challenges were encountered. I cannot say enough positive things about Pegasus Pools. My wife and I checked out about 6 pool companies before we finally chose Pegasus. Kane Adkins is fantastic. His dedication to the job is beyond anything we expected. When he says he is doing something, you can bet it will be done and he will be on time. We were out of town for a week during the process and Kane called me every morning to let me know what was going to be done that day and he sent pictures also. Their price was very competitive and the products were top grade. When Kane & Taylor 1st met with us he said he would try to have our pool in by the last week of June. We were swimming by June 17th. This review is a long time in coming but I have to say that Pegasus Pools is a "top notch" company! We worked with Matthew on our pool build (Dec 2018 - February 2019) and he was on top of the entire project. All questions were answered in a timely manner and Matthew kept us informed of all the steps, procedures, and time lines of the build from start to finish. He beautifully designed the type of pool that we asked for and wanted. We were never in the dark on anything and Matthew made sure to inspect all aspects of the pool build. Pegasus Pools pricing was very competitive and they were much more affordable than any of the larger and better known pool builders. It is a "quality" build that my family and I enjoy from season to season (basically only two AZ seasons, warm and hot!). We have had a few very minor issues over the past year and a half of pool ownership, but one call and/or text to Matthew and these issues were taken care of quickly and with no fuss! I must say that both Matthew's and Pegasus Pools professionalism and integrity are qualities that all businesses should have, or at least aspire to! I highly recommend these guys! read more

Kane and his team are AMAZING. We interviewed several different companies. Kane came with an original design truly listening to what we wanted for our backyard. He and his team were with us throughout the entire process. They transformed our useless dirt backyard into a tropical oasis of our dreams. After many months of looking into pool builders, the hubby and I narrowed down our choices to 4 builders. After meeting with Kane, we instantly knew this guy was going to be awesome to work with. He wasn't just a designer/sales guy... he was THE guy we were going to be working with from start to finish. He met with us, truly listened to what we wanted, listened to our budget concerns, and designed an amazing backyard for us. From the beginning Kane was on time for every meeting, communicated with us on a daily basis, talked to us about everything we needed to know and take into consideration with our yard, and definitely put us at ease during the major monsoon storms and flooding while we had a giant open hole in our yard after excavation. He was always easy to get ahold of and had a great sense of urgency to make sure every question we had was answered and that we were truly happy. He communicated every stage of the project from excavation, to rebar and shotcrete, to decking, landscape and pebble install. Every single one of his crews was professional, courteous and on-time. From excavation to finish there was always something going on. When we first started our pool and backyard we thought the process would be lengthy considering it was the middle of summer and that we would come across many bumps along the road. But not with Pegasus Pools. The process was smooth, seamless and much easier than we expected. From dig to swim day was just under 6 weeks and thats including a week of no work just to let the monsoon rain damage dry out! That's unheard of during the middle of summer when everyone is trying to build a pool! Kane's professionalism and sense of urgency definitely exceeded our expectations. In addition to that, at one point in time Kane was unable to be onsite but we didn't have to worry because the owner, Chip, was able to come onsite just to make sure things went smoothly. Kane was always honest about timeframes and deadlines and often exceeded them. He was not one to over promise and under deliver. He was the exact opposite and often under promised and over delivered by leaps and bounds. If you like drama and issues look not further. I have no idea how they were able to get any good reviews but I can tell you that we and others have not had good experiences. Your going to meet the guy who runs the circus. His name is Kane and he has a really good sales pitch. This guy is out of control and unstable. He has serious anger issues. Not only does he weaponize his religion and constantly push it down your throat, but he is constantly badmouthing his customers and employees. (This will be you). He was caught trying to say some inappropriate things to my wife and was kicked off of my property. Not only that, but he said on a few occasions that he had just come from jobs that he almost came to blows with a customer. (This could be you or your wife) If this is the drama you are looking for then you have found the right company. Kane is also a liability. He has a medical condition that causes him to pass out on job sights (your home). You might want to get better home insurance in case something happens to him. When I called the company after Kane was fired the owner Chip called me back and he named off a couple customers who had also fired Kane and was confused with who we were. Red flag, red flag, red flag. There are better companies. Don't fall into the traps we did. Also the other negative review they have is legitimate and we had a lot of the same issues as they did. Kane and his crew just finished up our pool and we couldn't be happier. From breaking ground to filling the pool with water was exactly 8 weeks, just as they promised. Kane has a great eye for helping with color selections and is a great pool designer. We have already recommended friends to Pegasus Pools and will continue to refer people. Pegasus pools won't try to sell you a bunch of stuff that you don't need like some other pool builders we met with. Called this company for an estimate. They sent out Matt one week. Matt said I'd have quote by following Monday. No calls, no quote. I followed up on Tuesday. No return calls. I follow up again Wed. A guy named Kane answered and I explained I'm just waiting for a quote and Kane goes into a dissertation of excuses about how busy they are and just have too many customers to deal with right now and I'm thinking...what the heck am I, I thought I too was a customer. And Kane just wouldn't shut up about all their other customers and finally he made his point that my estimate was unimportant. I finally told Kane that he had the worst the salemanship I ever heard and the way to alienate a customer is to tell them they are not important. I told them to keep their bid! And then he started blurting out insults at me, but I just said good-bye and hung up. I know they have other good reviews...but if this is how this Kane guy acted and spoke to one potential customer as a representative of the company, this behavior is always there, just waiting to happen with another customer. So the owner Chip calls the following day and says he received a message to call me. I told him he was mistaken, I explained Kane was rude and I didn't want to deal with Pegasus because of it. Then a day later Matthew emails over the color drawing of the pool and says that the owner wanted to send the designs over anyway. At which point I said okay, I can see you guys keep contacting me, so if you still want to bid the project I will forget how rudely Kane spoke and I would welcome the bid. Matt replied "we appreciate the second chance." Matt called today 3/6/2017 to say the owner has now changed his mind and has now decided to not bid our job after all. Unbelievable! So let this be a lesson...jerks hire jerks! Birds of a feather and all that...the owner hires employees with rude behavior because that is who the owner is down deep. I have never had such a TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE with any company ever, in my life. AVOID THIS COMPANY!!! read more

We had Pegasus remodel our pool, decking and patio this past Sept/Oct. They surpassed our expectations with the way the pool turned out. Not only that, but when our friends saw the pool for the first time, their jaws about hit the pavement with the difference the remodel made to our backyard. There is still landscaping that needs to be done to the backyard, but the pool itself has made a significant difference in the way the backyard looks. The project went very smoothly. Kane did an amazing job keeping on top of things and keeping us posted on the progress and what to expect from the beginning to the end of the project. He was also very helpful in keeping us on budget. We had various pool companies come out and give us estimates. We weren't nearly as impressed with the other companies as we were with Pegasus. They presented us with a 3-D image of our backyard and showed us what the pool would look like upon completion, and it turned out to look just that way when everything was done and said. We had an issue getting the vacuum to run along the bottom of the pool initially, but Kane was on top of it and was out the very next day to see what was going on with it and get it working. They definitely stand behind their work! read more
