That was absolutely embarrassing for you guys all the way around. I got a pizza delivered to my house that I DID NOT ORDER (wrong address) when I opened the box I was absolutely astonished at how WEEK the pizza was! Someone spent hard earned money on this. The driver came back, I gave her the pizza back and explained that I knocked on the neighbors door to see if they ordered it but no answer. The driver said thank you before I finished talking, with no eye contact, no smile she walked off. I wouldn't have written this but for no reason they didn't hire me at the campus location. I have 10 years pizza making experience, managing 4 different pizzerias. Now that I've seen the pizza's they put out and the attitude of the employees...haha I'm glad they never hired me. Pegasus has tasty pizzas! I have fond memories of studying while sharing a pizza at their location by the university. I absolutely love their pear and goat cheese salad as well. My only grip is that the thin crust can get slightly soggy in the very center of the pizza- but it's still delicious. read more

Decided to try this at lunch and was sorry I could see how the food was made. I ordered a salad and the employee wore no gloves and just grabbed the ingredients and tossed into the to go box. The employee "washed" their hands but running a hand under some water, no soap, then grabbed a piece of pizza for another order with no gloves and tossed it in oven. :-( The salad was ok but I don't plan on going back, at least not during the day. read more

Oversauced and overpriced! I'm flabbergasted (yeah, I just like using that word) that some people here describe this as best pizza in Eugene. The pizza here is not inedible, so I'll give it two stars at least, but it really is no better than Papa John's, Domino's, etc. As Bene, which was in the Oakway location before, had been pretty decent, I figured I'd give its replacement a try too. Unfortunately the pizza was greatly underwhelming. Not particularly high quality toppings (too dry), too much marinara sauce (too wet), and the crust was no different from your average pizza parlor. I wasn't expecting La Perla quality, but I was hoping for something at least a little more Italian. Especially for $23 for a regular sized pizza with some ham and pineapple thrown on top, wow!! And why did it take them over 20 minutes to make a pizza with only one other customer?! In short: fast food pizza, at slow speeds and (ridiculously) high prices. read more

Ate here last night. The dining area has incredibly limited seating options. It is quaint but nice. Had a few beers on tap, and an array of soda fountain drinks. The pizza was just okay. The only reason we tried this place is because my favorite pizza joint was closed! Well, I am glad we tried this pizza joint. it's not a Napoletana Pizza (neither does it claim to be but I am just saying that this is a regular pizza joint). The toppings were fresh and the pizza dough tasted fresh. The sauce they used was a bit off (not in a bad way, but maybe it's their special recipe sauce or something). Customer service was good. Pizza was ready on time and they also included red crushed pepper and parmesan cheese packets. the shop it pretty small and so there isn't much room to dine-in. You could sit outside, but the seating is right next to the parking lot (without any buffer) and I particularly am not a fan of having dust/fumes/people smoking etc while I enjoy my pizza. The pizza is good but every single time I order a pizza they give me something that is nowhere near what I ordered. And it makes it even more difficult because I order the gluten free crust, so every time not only do I not get what I ordered at all but I have to hope they made it with gluten free crust and didn't get that wrong too. We ordered the Mediterranean and the Aegean . Both were completely different. The Mediterranean had pesto feta and sun dried tomatoes. The crust was dry and tough. We enjoyed it but they need to work on the crust. The Aegean pizza didn't even test like a pizza. It was hard to describe, the toppings were delicious. It has mozzarella tomatoes kalamata olives artichoke hearts feta and fresh basil and parmesan. The crust was topped with garlic and olive oil. We called and got our food delivered. The person on the phone was very nice on the phone. We got the Pegasus Chicken pizza and garlic knots. The pizza was good and the crust was a good crispness. The garlic knots were delicious and not at all too oily like most pizza place garlic knots. When we reheated the leftovers in the microwave the next morning, I was surprised at how well the food kepts. The pizza didn't get soggy and the knots were still really fluffy. We ordered the pollo pesto pizza, and it would have been a decent pizza - if it was actually cooked. We made the mistake of leaving the restaurant before checking our pizzas. When we got home, the crust was conceringly pale looking. When we tried to take a slice, we noticed that the pizza began to fall apart, and the center of the pizza was completely uncooked, raw dough. This is a health hazard. We put the pizza in our oven at home at 450 for 20 more minutes to try to get it somewhat edible, but even after all that, the center was still mushy and frankly, disgusting. We called the place and they offered us a free pizza as an apology, but honestly, when your only job is to bake a pizza in the oven, and you can't even pull that off, I would have to be a fool to eat anything from there again. I've passed by this pizza place many times before I ate there for the first time last weekend. Every time I passed by it on the way to Nordstrom Rack it always smelled amazing, and made me want to eat there. So finally, last weekend my husband and I planned to eat there for the first time. The place is small, but pretty standard looking for a small pizza joint. We went to order our pizza and there were three college aged people behind the counter. There service was less than helpful or welcoming, but we still kept an open mind about the food. We ordered a chicken/bacon pizza with alfredo sauce and tomatoes and onions on top. We also ordered their Gnots as a side with vinaigrette sauce to dip them in. Surprisingly our food didn't take too long to come to our table, considering we were the only ones eating there at the time and the employees were goofing off behind the counter and watching tv. Anyways, we got our food and it all looked and smelled amazing! So we were excited! We started with the Gnots and dip, and it was pretty yummy. Then we tried the pizza, and hands down it was the worst pizza we have ever tasted in our lives. We've tried a lot of different pizzas in our day, and this one by far was the worst. It had absolutely no flavor to it, and the raw tomatoes on top were definitely not ripe at all. Once we took the tomatoes off and dipped every bite of pizza in the vinaigrette sauce, the pizza was somewhat tolerable. Sadly, our experience was extremely disappointing and ended with both of us feeling sick to our stomachs. In short, we definitely would not recommend this pizza place... To anyone. read more

I've ordered here lots of times. Usually I have no issues. But this time it was horrible! The pizza was great but the customer service was awful! I was told 45-50 minutes, after a hour and a half I called to check in. The very rude guy on the phone, I believe his name was Shawn, told me my pizza was just now going into the oven. I said they probably should have notified me since it took double the time. His response?? "Look lady! Do you want your pizza or not!?" Very unprofessional. We were staying at a hotel near by and called to order. The gal said she would put me on hold for a minute, which was fine. I waited 10 min and then the phone just hung up on me. I called back and they same gal answered and said she would put me on hold again and I mentioned what happened last time and she apologized and said it would just be a minute, but needed to put me on hold again. I will say, she was always very kind and pleasant. I waited patiently and after 10 min it hung up on me again. This point, it's feeling a bit frustrating since we were supposed to be at families house at a certain time and had called with plenty of time to order. Now we are 20 min later and still no order placed. I called again and she apologized and said she could take my order in a minute. A gentlemen answered and took my order. He was friendly. I asked if I could give the phone to my sister to order so we didn't loose the call again and at first he said " no, he couldn't" we talked it through and figured out how to make that happen. We arrived to get our food and left not feeling like anyone was very friendly. They were more concerned about where we were standing and not to be too close. We were in the same group, they didn't know that, but it was just one more thing they weren't very friendly about. The icing on the cake was after we left and got to our car that was around the other side of the mall. We called to ask if a green bag we had left was on the table. He said it wasn't there and not on the table outside we were sitting at. We drive over there to double check and there the bag was, right on the table. Dissapointing again. It had been a while since we ordered pizza here as it wasn't good the last time either. We had it delivered which was great! BUT, the pizzas both had their issues. Maui Wowee, it was ok at best. Canadian bacon was chewy, and there was almost no sauce on it. Also the sauce that was there was really spicy which you don't expect on a Hawaiian pizza. And where was the pineapple???? Little slivers scattered around. Was more a ham pizza than anything. Pollo pesto, well there was lots of pesto on this one , but the chicken was horrible. More like jerky as it was so dry. Major fail. Had to take it off as it also had a very gamey flavor. Yuk.
