Okay, so first of all I started noticing warm floors in a certain area of my house near my bathroom. I didn't really think anything of it because I am a completely clueless when it comes to plumbing and didn't even really think that I could have an underground leak. Anyway after I get a notice from the city that I have a slab leak, I call around for a few plumbers who said they could come out and figure it out for me. When they get there I was pretty ticked off because none of them actually did leak detection. I think they just wanted to try to be the first person there to "land the job". They all said I need a leak detection company which would have been nice if they told me that on the phone because now I have to schedule another company to come out. I am extremely pleased with the service pegasus leak detection provided tonight and felt I needed to write this review. First of all, from one second to the next, water was pouring into my garage! I luckily found them on Yelp and they were still open (6:30 pm). I was expecting to schedule them for what I was hoping to be tomorrow, but they were actually available to come out this evening! Pegasus came highly recommended from my plumber, in fact, he was the one that called them. Phillip showed up with all his equipment and began his work right away. He walked me through the entire process and told me exactly what he was doing, why he was doing it, and what he believed the results were. He was extremely thorough in his work and spend the better part of an hour making sure the leak was exactly where he thought it was. I had another major rooter company perform a similar task the morning prior and their results were actually quite different than Philip's. They thought I had two leaks, one major one in the master bathroom and a small one in the kitchen. Philip came in the next day and said that I had one major leak in the kitchen and the sound coming off the master bathroom was just an echo from water flow. Philip said that to the untrained ear, it might sound like two leaks but he's been doing this for years. My husband called Pegasus based on yelp reviews. Called them on Wednesday when he saw our garage slowly flooding after getting home from work. They arrived by around 6:30pm or so when I had just gotten home from work. Phillip and Jonathan where great, service was responsive. They explained everything we needed to know. They guided us on the next step to take with home insurance etc. They found the cause to the issue right away. Our neighbor has a leak in their pipes and it is affecting our common walls in our town home. They did a quick fix so the leaking would stop. Problem wasn't with us, but we got the significant damage to our home. It will need repairs, but I'll save that story for another review. This is not really something I wanted to deal with as a fairly new homeowner of less than two years. Completely blindsided. Not going to lie I was really upset over this situation.
