Food portions are great. Taste is great. Service was friendly. The hash browns were saturated in oil and kind of oil logged / tasteless. The walls & lights have a lot of wear, like broken glass lampshades. It's just a local diner vibe.

Not my favorite, but also not bad. Been here one other time.. so this would be my second time. Decided to give it another shot....Diner type of style restaurant. They have spacious places to sit with a group of people. Went with a party of 8, and was comfortable. But the food just isn't the greatest (in my opinion) got the jalapeño hash.. thinking it would be like a hash in a bowl with two eggs on top .. but it was just hash browns with green peppers pressed on them and two eggs on the side, oh and two sausage patties (& side of toast) I guess I'm used to something else (when it comes to a hash) and it was kinda of pricey... and that's without a coffee or juice. Just plain water. The service was great. But the food just wasn't it. *******The picture I have on here is from 3 years ago... I did not take a picture of my hash yesterday ******

Went on a Sunday at noon expecting it to be busy and it definitely was. Almost all the tables were full so we were ready to wait at least 45 minutes. But we didn't have to. Walking in, we were greeted and seated right away. Francine was our server and she was so friendly and efficient. We ordered the Cinnamon roll combo special and the Pegahs scramble. While we waited (which wasn't very long), the man who greeted us and sat us at our table came and poured our coffees. We noticed that this cute diner managed to maintain a warm, relaxed vibe all while working as a well-oiled machine. Super efficient all around. As busy as it was, the employees didn't miss a beat and didn't look or act hurried or stressed. Customer service was on point. The turnaround was fast. Food came out quick and we thoroughly enjoyed what we ordered. Definitely a good value. So glad we tried this place, we'll be back!

We always get coupons for this restaurant in the Clipper Magazine & we decided to give it a try. They have 3 locations in North County. We dined for brunch on NYE & it was busy! Cute diner & retro feel. Dishes came out quick & service was friendly. California Benedict: Amazing! Crispy bacon, crispy side of hash browns, loved it. Hearty portion. This location is in a neighborhood with a few parking spots & street parking. Senior menu available.

Two eggs over easy, with ham and chrispy hash browns...met expectations !!!

Great breakfast at a reasonable price, comfortable booths and great friendly service provided by the lovely Francine. We ordered the veggie omelette with wheat toast dry, two eggs over easy with ham, the fruit bowl and both came with hash browns (done extra chrispy - per our request-the chief nailed it !!!) Can't wait to try some of their other item.

Came to Pegah's Kitchen with my in laws while it was raining. It is a cute little diner and it feels nostalgic the moment you walk in. The food was good and filling, nothing too special. I ordered the country fried steak and eggs and the steak was a little dry and my sunny side eggs were a bit under. We also got the sausage gravy and biscuits and I should have gone with a half order because it was a lot of food. I also wish they had a bit of butter or something for more flavor. One thing I really liked was the apple jelly for the toast. We only waited about ten minutes to be seated even though it was busy. It was a nice and simple spot for a rainy day.

My dad and I love checking out little niche stops like Pegah's Kitchen, we've driven by this place for years and regret having only just tried it! Not only were the portion sizes huge, the taste was amazing too. Our server was attentive and checked in on us at an appropriate rate. On top of that, we loved the cozy diner look of the restaurant! Would 100% come back here to try more from the menu!

Great food, great service, reasonably priced and a clean restaurant overall. Our server was very attentive and genuine. We enjoyed the flavors of every dish particularly the country potatoes that had a hint of "pancit" (Filipino noodles) at the end. This place is highly recommended!

We have gone there for many years and just seeing how over priced their food is now is unbelievable. We won't be going there ever again. It's like everything has gone up at least 5.00 more per dish. 20.00 for a club sandwich is crazy. Sorry to see that it's heading towards losing loyal customers. Below is a picture of where I got the prices. On your yelp site. I wasn't making it up I wouldn't do that. I like your food very much . And I do understand the reason for increases. Just shocked when I saw the advertised picture.

Loved the service and the food. They had a large selection of both breakfast and lunch items. We had the club sandwich on wheat with no mayo with a side of fruit, and the ABC burger (add bleu cheese) with French fries and both were great. The service was friendly and quick. The prices reasonable too. We went on a Saturday and luckily they were able to seat us right away. The food came out quickly and they refilled our hot tea and iced tea. This will be our new breakfast/lunch place before heading to the Safari Park!

Front entrance and parking is pretty much on the building. To the left of the entrance is the outside seating. Sorry the only pic I took.

This was a cute little mom and pop spot. In a neighborhood very limited parking but there is some street parking. Outside seating available. Service was great from the time I walked in to the time I left. If you love eggs, this place has a lot of them. I chose the French Toast and added fresh strawberries and whip cream and made it a meal minus the eggs and substituted with hash browns and got 2 sausage patties. All really good. The orange juice wasn't freshly squeezed, it came out of the machine we sat next to. The tables were a little small and not a lot of room at the tables. If you need a lot of room outside is perfect for you. Not a bad place to stop for a bite to eat on your way up or down the 15 or 78 freeways.

Pegah's is our go-to diner in the area. Service is always fast and friendly. Sierra in particular has been our fav server for going on 3 years now! I typically get their steak and eggs and my husband loves their veggie omelette. Our only request is that they invest in better quality coffee

I was pleasantly surprised with Pegah's Kitchen! Friendly staff, good prices, great portions, and the wait time was super short! I made a reservation to sit outside in their dog friendly outdoor patio seating. We got our order taken quickly and the food came out fast, nice and hot. The corned beef hash was good. Nice crispy hash browns. Monte Cristo was good too. The biscuit was so dry. Do not get it unless with gravy.

    Ambiance.

Good service and good food. Sausage gravy could use a tad more flavor but was still good. Highly recommend the California Skillet!

So we checked Yelp for the next best thing nearby and found the "Sunny Side Kitchen". I'm not a vegetarian, but my Vegan Panini (with a pickle slice and fresh fruit cup on the side) was wonderful. That freshly baked sourdough bread sandwich was so juicy some avocado squirted out of an air hole in the bread onto my shirt. Luckily water was nearby to quickly wipe away any future stain. Recommendation: Wear a napkin on your shirt. ; ) p.s. It wasn't crowded for a Tuesday lunch; and owner Kate added great conversation and promoted neighboring "Esco Gelatto" as a good place for dessert, but we were too full. We'll save room next time.
