I was greeted with a smile as I told them I wanted a new tire because this tire kept losing air and I assumed it was done. It turned out that it had 3 puncture wounds in it and they repaired all 3 and sent me on my way quickly without any charge! I drove on to Seattle without any issues. I highly recommend Commercial Tire - friendly, competent, quick, fair, trustworthy. Thank you!

I scheduled my appointment over the phone and Jacqueline was so kind, positive, and professional. She is very knowledgeable while at the same time, so easy to communicate with. Upon arrival today, Jacqueline greeted me by my name, was incredibly engaging, and took charge to get my service done! My technician was amazing! He was as fast and efficient, while taking the time to answer my questions. The waiting area and office is inviting and comfortable, complete with a beautiful array of snacks, cold bottled water, and a Keurig with all the fixings. My wait was short and the price was beyond reasonable given the service I was provided. I had the pleasure of seeing Alex again, one of the owners (husband:), which was lovely. Upon departure, Jacqueline bid me goodbye warmly, making me even more certain that I will be returning for all of my vehicle maintenance and repairs!

Since my last visit in May, more issues surfaced -- like the Matryoshka doll of mechanical problems; fix one thing, and boom, another pops up. It's honestly a miracle I didn't break down (or blow up!) on the way from California 4 months ago. But thankfully, she waited to fall apart until we got to the Treasure Valley and into the right hands: Chris (SERIOUSLY knowledgable & a wizard with parts and pricing) and Jason (the Master Technician Magician with a sharp eye and zero B.S.). The result? My car is now running better than it ever has: Starts on the first crank No more engine stench Insanely good gas mileage No more holding my breath & praying when I turn the key My last shop in San Diego missed a lot. These guys? Caught everything -- including some jerry-rigged nonsense from the previous owner. Old cars are tricky- sourcing parts, chasing weird issues; they tracked down hard-to-find parts, explained everything clearly, and yet again, came in under the estimate! It wasn't just a repair; it felt like real restoration. Yeah, she still needs a few things (old cars stay humble), but for the first time in a long time, I drive with confidence & CALM. I ask a ton of questions and pay close attention to how I'm treated--and every time I walk into this shop, I'm met with professionalism, honesty, and real respect. It's rare, and it's why I'll keep coming back. Thanks again, Chris, Jason, Noe and the crew. You've got my trust, my sincere gratitude -- and my referrals. :)

Found a nail in my wife's driver side rear tire this morning around 9, a slow leak at 26 psi for a 32 psi tire. Called around and found a few places that could do the repair today. Two were in Star, and one of them wouldn't be able to repair the tire until 3 or 4 pm. The guy at Star Tire said I could bring the car over right away and they could take care of me. We dropped the car before 10 am. The gentleman said the car should be ready around 11:30 am. That was fine with us, as we had the other car. We were told that we would be called when the car was ready. We had not received a call by 2 pm and we were out doing an errand so we dropped by. The same gentleman told me that they had tried two prior repairs of the tire, but leaking persisted. They were on their third try. I've never had a flat take three attempts to repair. We were told the car would be ready shortly. We decided to wait in the car. The repair was completed within about 10 minutes, we paid, and were preparing to leave. Dan, who I believe is the owner, told us to check and make sure that the key was in the car. It wasn't. Went back in and had to wait another 5 minutes because they didn't know where the key was. It was eventually found and we were on our way. 3 hours after we were told the car would be ready. I appreciate that they were able to take care of my car today. Everyone is nice here, and they seem to do a good business. As I said, they are well reviewed. We just moved to Star in June and I am looking for an auto shop to take care of the maintenance and repair of both our vehicles. Unfortunately, after this experience with ST&A, I'll be looking elsewhere.
