The Employees are friendly, but I have taken my truck twice there in less than a week and both times I have picked it up I have picked it up having more problems that weren't even anywhere near a showing problem when I dropped it off. I DO NOT recommend this place for any work, not brakes, or a full inspection. I asked them to do a full inspection from front to back, and they did it very half efforted in my opinion. They are not consistent in their work and in my opinion don't pay much attention to the full length and detail of the job in front of them. I WILL NEVER TAKE ANY OF MY VEHICLES HERE AGAIN. Not only any of this but my truck is still driving like it's on its last leg when I don't even have 95 k miles on it! These guys are trash and obviously have no care about their customers safety in my opinion and I will be going and getting ALL of my service records they have on file and taking them to an attorney. If you care about your vehicle, you wallet and your safety I do not recommend this place to ANYONE! read more

you neglected to mentionall the work your employee did ess than 24 hours previously and how i drove it less than 10 miles before bringing it in. All I wanted was my vehicle to be safe. Which included a break job and a rotor job and a tune up. Your other employee convinced me. If I were planning to use my four wheel drive at all, it needed to have the differential maintenance required, which I couldn't afford you guys knew I was financing. Because I thought I was doing the right thing, and now I'm $2000 plus intrest in the hole, and the truck sounds like crap now. Apparently all the codes have nothing to do with the maintenance you provided. I am so super happy that I came down and you helped me out so much. Oh and my truck a 2015 not 19 like the receipt says with all the parts. Hope you're super proud of helping your community. I will be getting a 2nd and 3rd professional opinion with documentation and seeing my attorney. The second documentation had incorrect times on it as well. I have documentation of all my phone calls with your employees stating that the truck hadn't even been brought into the shop till after lunch. Then when you guys said I could come get it.I asked my cousin to go get it.And you guys just happened to have a truck in the way and my truck still in the shop and was unable to give her the keys?! I originally requested to see the parts taken off of my truck which you said you were not able to provide. I called Bruneel Point S in Caldwell and told the person who answered the phone that I bought some Bilstein 5100 shocks to go on the front and rear of my truck because the shocks that were currently on the truck were old and needed to be changed. I told them I also had purchased some new front coil springs to go on the front end. The person on the other end immediately said we don't install customer's parts. I said, Why not, he said, because we cant guarantee parts that the customer provides. I told him he does not need to have a guarantee on the parts because the business I bought the parts from has a guarantee on them. He rudely shot back "We don't use customer parts !" and then hung up on me. I called another auto shop in Caldwell and they gave me a price for installation only, and said Yes they will use the parts that I bought, so I made an appointment date and time to get the job done. Fast forward to two months after I had the job done...: I was curious to hear the price Bruneel Point S would quote me for this job that was already done from another business. I called Bruneel Point S up and told them what I wanted done and gave them the (brand name) of the exact parts that I previously bought and had installed elsewhere. Not to my surprise they gave me a price for parts and installation that was just over $200 more than I had paid for the shocks and coil springs. This company, as I suspected, marks up the price of the parts by 50% to 100% (or more) than they actually cost...and that is the real reason they won't use parts provided by the customer. That is pretty poor business ethics if you ask me. I am surprised that this business still exists. Buyer Beware!! read more

I wanted to shout out Bruneel Point S-Caldwell for their help on Saturday with my car and it's overheating issue. They got the car in right away, diagnosed the problem and had it fixed before my family and I were done with lunch and did it with a more than fair price for the services provided. I'm from out-of-town, new tires waiting for me in Oregon, and my Right Front is pretty worn down. It 'might' make it to Bend, but I prefer to drive safely. Found Bruneel Point S close to where I'm staying and had a pretty good rating, so I dropped in late morning. What I wanted was my spare tire mounted on my RF rim (20"), and the old tire mounted on the spare's rim as it still holds air. They took me in right away. A few min later a guy came out and said the spare is on an 18" rim so they can't swap the tires to eachother's rims. OK, but will the 18" tire be ok to drive on? Sure. Will it get me to Bend? Absolutely. So gave the go ahead to just mount the spare with the ugly rim. Minutes later, the truck came out of the bay and parked out front. Guy came in and gave me the keys - good to go, but the bad tire is in the back of the truck as it won't fit in the 'spare tire location'. No problem. Went to pay. No charge. Really? Love this place. Hands down, THE place to go if you want to find people you can trust. I went to Toyota today because I had a huge nail in my tire and they said that it had a leak in it and would need to be replaced. They highly recommended that I replace all 4 because I have an all wheel drive vehicle and that was going to be $900 for the same tires that I currently have. They said if I didn't do all 4, I should definitely do at least 2 of them. I went to Bruneel (now Point S) and Larry (so friendly!) told me that they couldn't find any leaks and that the tire was at the optimal air pressure level, before even doing anything. He actually came out to have me verify that they were looking at the right tire! It was the right tire, so they put my spare back in the trunk and put my tire back on and told me to just keep an eye on it. There was another couple in the shop at the same time for the same problem...they got an outrageous quote and long lead-time from a different place and Carlos (also super friendly) told them to come on by, so hopefully they have a great experience, too! As a woman w not much car knowledge, it is SO nice to have a place in town that I know I can trust. read more

After paying almost $1000 for a check engine light, I discovered this place charges 2 to 3 times what others charge for parts. One part Bruneel charged me $178 for I could have bought at Auto Zone for $84. Another cost me $190 that sells at Napa for $89 and I was charged $146 for a part that Napa sells for $48. When I asked why I was charged so much for the parts, the manager told me "that's just our mark up". I won't be back to be ripped off by this place again! read more

I normally don't do reviews but I wanted to share my experience with those who rely on them. I went in to this location for an oil change expecting nothing less then superior service. About a month went by after I had the oil change I needed to open my cars hood to jump start another car and to my surprise there was no oil cap. I couldn't believe it they forgot to put the cap back on, I was driving my car for a full month with out an oil cap. I trusted them to take care of my car and this careless mistake could of costed me my automobile. read more

In an area where there are multiple tire places, this is by far the best and the place to go to! Had a flat tire at 4am on a cross country road trip and appeared on their door step at opening at 7:30am on a Saturday morning and Larry went out of his way to help us in any way that he could. Even though we required something that he didn't have, he called all the auto and tire shops within a 15 mile radius to eventually find us a solution. I could not have asked for more kindness, patience or level of service out of anyone. If you ever need any car service, check out this place first! read more

HUGE Markup in their parts!!! I went in for a tune up, and they were going to charge me $50 PER SPARK PLUG for plugs that I could get down the street at Oreily's for $7.50. THE EXACT SAME PLUGS!!! same brand, same everything. And Point S wouldnt let me go buy the cheaper plugs and have them install them (claimed it would give them too much liability...) that is complete crap and they know it. read more
