Great that Jane's coffee is next door with better coffee and friendly service. Peet's has no excuse for not training their personnel on inclusiveness to people with disabilities. Stopped by this Peet's not too long ago just now getting around to writing this. It seemed like I might've walked in right after a rush, so I'll give them the benefit of the doubt there. The team still looked pretty tense, like they were coming off a busy stretch, and the lobby was a pretty messy not terrible, but not as clean as you'd expect. I ordered a latte but ended up with something closer to a really dry-looking cappuccino. It tasted alright, so not a total loss, but it wasn't quite what I asked for. I usually like Peet's, but this location just wasn't it for me. I'll probably stick to going back to the city spots instead. read more

I went to this store using my discount when an older lady, who I assume was a shift lead, followed me around the store because she wanted to see my phone to confirm my discount. I personally did not appreciate being harassed by the company. I was very disappointed with the rude service I received here. I like this location since there's plenty of parking available and it's easy to get to just a short distance off of Highway 101. I've stopped here on a few occasion after hiking around Mt. Tamalpais and Angel Island. The interior is modern with bold artworks on the walls. It's a very relaxing place to chill and of course there's free Wi-Fi. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the interior is off limits but there's a few tables outside for customers to enjoy. The staff follows the current guidelines and they have hand sanitizers available for the customers. On our most recent visit, my friends and I stopped here during our Therapy Tuesday session and grabbed an outdoor table as we also brought our own food. This location has a nice spacious interior, a decent amount of outside tables, parking is always great on their side of the lot (though I wish there was more than one way to exit it), and I've never had a problem with my orders or the service. The worst Peets location. Never crowded, always takes forever. This am I ordered 30 minutes in advance, knowing they are always slow. I never got my order. After waiting another 15 minutes in the store, I wasn't even in the next 10 on the list, which j don't under because there weren't even 10 people waiting. The manager is nice but always seems to have an excuse. Mill Valley's ordering is down...an event in town. I went to Pets and as soon as I walked in the door I was told my service dog couldn't come in. I went backout and tied my dog up. I was trying to order two oatmeal. I wanted one hot and they other to go. I asked they could both without water? I was told by the woman they don't do that. She was very snappy, and I was just trying to bring business to the store. You really need to have a talk with staff about proper educate when it comes to customers. Maybe she was having a bad day already at 8am, but that is not my fault. This location is awesome . All peets really are , but each has its own vibe and set up . Pre-Covid , this store was great for sitting and hanging out . It's just a hop off highway 101 , heading in either direction . I like to hit it up after walking blackies field . Or coming out of Tiburon . The cove is a cute small shopping center , Paradise Market , at home and Sweet things fabulous bakery . I read the Italian restaurant has a new owner and is very good . Peets added a traditional Cappuccino, love it , short small single pour and topped w only a bit of steamed milk . It's perfect . This year the Xmas blend is yummy , just delicious . I buy Peets cards are Costco, usually 80 bucks for a value of 100 , currently on sale for 75 . That's a deal ! Ha Also I order mobile , so so easy & the perks , just keep coming , lots of free beverage rewards . Got to be a smart consumer ! Staff are always great . Without exception . Well it is a Peet's. You like the coffee and teas or you don't. I like them as I like Starbucks so I'm not a peetnick or a starbucker, I enjoy them whoever is close to me and local small coffee shops as well In-between. But I like that Peet's use Chicorée as sweetener instead of pure Cain sugar. So why I rate this store is cause I was surprised about how friendly and efficient they are. I always hate it at Starbucks that they take my credit card (or my app payment) and they can take my name from there or from their screen when I am using the app to pay. But they don't take attention and ask "what's your name for the order" grrrrrr This Peet's run I paid with my app and the barista said thanks Martin have a great day! This Tiburon Peet's is located a couple miles outside of downtown in the Cove shopping center. Plenty of parking in the adjacent parking lot. My wife and I stopped by around noon on a Saturday, and it was moderately busy, but no one in line ahead of us. We both had Javiva drinks, which are ice-blended frappe-style drinks. I had the Caramel and my wife had the Matcha Javiva. Both were made perfectly and arrived quickly. Nicely blended, no crunchy ice at the bottom, and a sweet, delicious taste all around - we were happy campers! We relaxed inside while we had our coffee. The seating area is segregated from the ordering section where people would line up, a nice touch. Seating featured a variety of table sizes, and some comfortable armchairs. It's a good-sized store, with a large seating area, and tables well spread apart, so you weren't breathing down the necks of your fellow caffeineistas as in so many Bay Area coffeehouses. Extra bonus: this Peet's has a thoughtfully designed interior. Incredibly bright and airy, with high ceilings, recessed lighting, and large windows. No dark, cramped, closed-in feelings in this coffeehouse! Would visit much more often if I lived nearby. Alas, it will need to wait until my next jaunt to Tiburon. read more

Came to this Peet's because it's on my route to the freeway. When I arrived there was only one other person ordering so I thought it would be a quick stop but the stop took longer than I had expected. It seems that they first work on the orders that come in through the app because I was waiting for over ten minutes to be given my drink. I understand that it was early so there's probably a lot of orders but saw at least ten drinks being made for pick up before getting mine. I had to prompt one of the baristas. When I finally got my order and took a sip I realized that I did not get the drink that I had ordered. I ordered a chai latte and got an espresso drink. I also noticed that I was given the wrong muffin. I was already on my way when I noticed these mistakes so I did not go back. read more

I'm not one to review and re-review chains, but I would be remiss if I didn't give this Peet's props for a job well done. I normally avoid this particular location because of the long lines and the snooty Tiburon clientele. But I came in here this morning for a quick espresso shot and bite to eat. I tried one of their new breakfast sandwiches. It was essentially egg, cheddar cheese, bacon, on whole-grain bread. They throw it in an oven for a few minutes and it comes out hot hot hot. I have had similar sandwiches at Starbucks and other like-minded coffee houses, but this particular breakfast sandwich was legitimately delicious and filling. This was no cheap Egg McMuffin... you could actually taste the egg and the yolk! The cheese was perfectly melted, and the bacon was crisp. Best of all, it was only $4 and 400 calories (so I didn't feel too guilty afterward). Throw in an espresso (which is actually two-shots), and you've got yourself a delicious breakfast-to-go for under $7. Not exactly a "breakfast of champions"... but a perfectly satisfying morning meal for the person who's on-the-go! read more

I always like Peet's. and go there over Starbucks every time. This is your typical Pete's. What I do like is there is plenty of parking. I also like the open lay out. Located nicely if your going to a local youth soccer game to get your morning joe. I am also happy since they have the honey harvest latte. Service and speed was typical for a Peets. I came in on their 1st day opening and I can already tell that this is gonna be the new hang out spot for the locals and will bring much needed business to this mall. And then comes today's news that Peet's has been purchased for $977.6 million, not by Daddy Starbucks, but by German conglomerate Joh. A. Benckiser. So instead of going to the huge company it helped foster 40 years ago by selling its beans to, Peet's will be owned by a European business known more for its ownership of beauty companies like Coty and luxury goods business Labelux. This puts Peet's under the same umbrella as Jimmy Choo and OPI nail polish. It will be another three months or so before the deal is finalized, but the L.A. Gotta say there is a new crew here, not the friendly faces I used to see all the time. And I've been pretty disappointed. The service is very slow and the drinks haven't been that great. There is one guy who makes awesome espresso drinks but other than him, I've had several mediocre drinks recently. Rudest customer service I have ever experienced at a Peet's coffee. We were treated so poorly after they messed up both of our drinks. No apology, just remade them with an attitude while they snickered and made rude remarks about us. Asked for a refund and walked out. In addition, one of the employees was outside smoking and coughing right in front of the entrance as we were walking in. Peet's coffees and teas are always excellent, their food offerings are always good. I enjoy this cafe very much; it is pleasant. One disappointment: This is not a good place to work if you need Wifi. The bandwidth is approximately 1mbps divided among all customers which is clearly not useful for a productive work session; it becomes overwhelmed very quickly. So, if you're looking for a place with a functional level of internet bandwidth in which to work, this is not the place.
