Coming in on a Monday night, I was surprised by the numbers of tutors taking place! It was nice to see! I ordered the horchata cold brew and was heavily disappointed that it didn't have any hints of horchata. I wouldn't recommend ordering it if you're expecting it to taste like it. It also wasn't sweet either. Overall, the ambience was nice. They had a row of books and nice seating. I would have to try something else there if I were to come back.

Wonderful staff here! Absolutely love the folks who work here. You'll be hard pressed to find better. Peet's and this location, all seem to do a fine job hiring polite people. Maybe other restaurants and coffee places, should look at what they're doing. This is my favorite location. I love the mocha frappe's here, as they have the best ones available. As for the regular coffees they're quite tasty. For whatever reason some seem to be a little acidic, but that could be on my end. I do wish they'd have a few more food choices. That's up to corporate of course. Yet for the frappes or a caffeine boost, this works well for that. A cozy location with comfortable chairs, be sure to go here.

Met a friend here for a cuppa. Never been to a Peet's but have definitely purchased their java from the grocery store. This was a nice change from Starbucks but no less of an option and completely comparable. This place is beautiful. The decor was clean, nice and inviting, the staff was super friendly and accommodating, and the options were aplenty. My friend had already ordered and was saving a table when I arrived so I proceeded to order a Matcha Green Tea Latte and a little packaged snack. The latte was good but a little weak; nothing major to discourage me and I will def ask for it stronger next time. Snack was nom-nom. It is located in a fairly newish strip mall at the intersection of Little River Turnpike & Pickett (across from Woodson HS). There is plenty of parking and plenty of walking/shopping, should you decided to take your bev on a journey. You can also choose to hang inside and chill or go al fresco, wonderful weather permitting. I found a parking spot right away, no prob and was delighted at that fact. I also was amazed at how sparkling clean the restroom was, wow - it really makes a girl happy. ;) All in all, fantastic experience and I will hit it up again on my next trip to DSW or Marshall's.

If a cup of Peet's doesn't bring a smile to your face then I don't know what will. I like that almost every time my order comes with some form of latte art. That extra little touch makes my coffee and my day more enjoyable! Not to mention that my most recent visit included trying out a horchata oat milk latte, which I have never seen anywhere else offer. It was delicious! The baristas are always super friendly. My husband ordered a coffee that came out iced (I'm pretty sure I heard him say iced!) but he told the barista that he ordered a hot drink or at least meant to order a hot drink. It was remade with no questions asked. Having background in customer service, I knowww that the customer is not always right, and in this case they made it seem that way like no issue at all. That's too notch service right there!

Well lemme tell ya somethin. This place is pretty rad. I got some kind of tea shaker thing. I think it has like green tea and pineapple in it. The barista also recommended coconut syrup which was quite delicious. I enjoyed my stay here very much. I was in the company of my Good Friend Brian who got a iced vanilla latte. He says it was very good. It is what he always gets. Some of the chairs here are metal, and were kind of cold on my butt. However, this did not take away from my Delicious Drink Experience.

Espresso chai latte and bacon brioche

I had some time before an appointment and found this Peet's around the corner. I was greeted upon arrival and the cashier was very nice even tho it was early. I got an espresso chai latte and bacon egg cheese on brioche which were both great. The breakfast sammy was better than any at Starbucks. The barista was nice and said thank you to everyone. Based on all the bad recent reviews, I'm guessing they changed it up. Good amount of seating and spacious.

Best Latte ever !!!

Peet's is the best out of everyone in this category. The service is superb from walking in to out. Upon arrival always being greeted by their Uber friendly staff, which is rare these days. It takes seconds to say Hello and gives proper attention to each individual customers. Furthermore the staffs are always suggesting great deals for the day and providing lucrative coupons for the customer to return. Sales 101 ! Marc is awesome in this Particular location as well as others but he DOES the job always ! Kudos to the management for training the staffs to perfection !! Good job Peet's and make sure to keep up with the expectations !!

I spotted this coffee shop while driving around Fairfax and I'm glad I did. First off, they have Golden Lattes!!! How cool! The golden Chai is absolutely delicious, so sad they don't have it in Atlanta. Anyways, I ordered a iced vanilla latte. Apparently for their iced drinks they add steamed foam on top which is different. I used to work at Starbucks, so seeing an "iced cappuccino" used as a stable at this cafe was super cool. I purchased this super cute Portland mug for $5! Such a steal~

Ginger honey latte, has a nice spice bite. It's liquid gold

Iced Americano. Yum! Clean, plenty of spots to get some work done (it is pre-lunch rush), lots of light and the music is not blaring.

I can finally say that I've tried these viral fruit desserts and I was not disappointed!…read more Layered seems to have a few haters based on previous reviews, but I don't understand why. Are the fruit desserts pricey? Yes. I paid about $42 for 3 of them. But I can also acknowledge that a lot of skill and time goes into making these - from the multi-layered fillings to the airbrushed coatings on top. They're a work of art! And every single one looked perfect in the glass display. As for the flavor? I really enjoyed the ones I tried - mango, pistachio and orange (pictured). Mango was by far my favorite. The crunch when you bite into these is so satisfying, and the fruit purees in the middle taste like fresh fruit and not artificial at all. The pistachio one had a Dubai inspired filling with kadaif. They look small but honestly one is more than enough for dessert. I also appreciate that there seems to be a ton available throughout the day now and they aren't selling out like they were months ago. I'll be back!

Stunning visual masterpieces that unfortunately belong on a grid, not a plate…read more I was highly anticipating trying the famous fruit desserts that dominate everyone's social feeds, especially since they advertise a Michelin-rated chef. Walking in, the aesthetic is immaculate and the service is completely on point and easily a 9/10 for the venue and presentation. These treats are genuine works of edible art. But at a premium price point for what turns out to be miniature 2-to-3 inch pastries, the actual culinary execution simply didn't deliver, making the Michelin pedigree a massive disappointment. The fruit desserts get a 4/10, strictly out of respect for the visual artistry. They completely lacked that transcendent, eye-roll-inducing flavor you expect from high-end patisserie. Instead of wanting to savor every bite, we couldn't even finish them and heartbreakingly had to throw them out. The strawberry and raspberry variations lacked any exterior structural crunch, resting on a soggy cookie base that tasted like a stale gingerbread biscuit. The biggest offender was the filling; the cream felt heavy, flat, and reminiscent of standard, grocery-bought cream. When a pastry relies this heavily on cream, it desperately needs elite ingredients and texturized, solid components to balance the richness. Compounding the disappointment, the heavy ingredients left my entire family with serious stomach issues later that night. Even the mango which was relatively the best of the flight was still completely weighed down by too much cream versus actual solids. As for the mango smoothie? A definitive pass (3/10). It was pure sugar syrup that left a thick, parching coating on the tongue. It is a beautiful conceptual experience for a photo op, but if you are seeking a refined flavor profile to match the visual grandeur and the culinary credentials, the substance just isn't there.
