This was my first time here at this Peet's coffee the staff were so nice and friendly and helpful. The service was also very good. The whole restaurant was very clean and organized, I didn't get a chance to check out the bathrooms sense I took my coffee to go. But I will definitely be coming back to this Peet's coffee again in the future because of the service I got and also the coffee I got was so fresh and delicious and tasted amazing, and they listened to how I wanted it made and it was made the way I wanted it. I was very happy with it. I will definitely be returning and recommending this place to everyone I know for sure. read more

It is all about the coffee and the view! Truth be told, I enjoy a great cup of Peet's coffee over the other big brand!:) Especially the lattes. Peet's lattes are so rich and smooth. Luxurious almost (you get a pour to the top of the cup). And they seem to offer way more variety of pastries. Anyway, it was delightful to sit and relax on today's "real feel" autumn morning sipping my extra hot latte and munching on my absolute fav, warmed, maple scone. If you have not been to this El Dorado Hills location, you are definitely missing out. Killer outside seating and view. Located up high at the intersection of Latrobe and White Rock... quiet, peaceful, almost meditative friendly. The bicycle cult (and I mean that in a good way) loves it, too. The food and drinks were good, but the service is something to be worked on. The girl who took my order did not greet me, did not read my order back to me, and did not wait for me to pay, just tuned around and started doing something else a foot away from me. When my food and drink came out she just yelled out my name and threw my food onto the counter and again waked away, she didn't make sure that I was the one who actually received my food. Someone else handed me my drinks and she actually waited for me to get them, smiled at me, and told me to have a good day. She was great. Definitely not a good first impression of this coffee shop. read more

I have been going to Peet's for years, I literally order about 40 dollars worth of product every single morning. I have decided to take my business elsewhere. All of a sudden this Peet's doesn't know how to make their own recipes. I order an Ice vanilla latte decaf. I received a cup of milk with vanilla and ice, and a non decaf espresso shot on the side. Not sure what the thought process was when making this but I have never received a drink this way, nor has anyone I know. They simply do not follow any instructions that is left to them. Not sure where the change came from but it's enough to make me want to call and speak with the manager. However when I called to speak to the manager I can hear the girl who picked up the phone say "someone wants to speak to you " the managers response was "well what do they want", the girl had to tell her she doesn't knows. When the manager got on the phone she was completely irritated. At this point I just hung up, this is where I will just take my business elsewhere. There are plenty of good coffee shops around the area that will have better customer service. read more

I stopped by Peet's Coffee at 5:50 PM, ten minutes before their posted 6:00 PM closing time, only to be rudely turned away by a staff member who said they were already closed. No apology, just a cold and dismissive tone. It was especially disappointing because the shop still had lights on and a welcoming ambiance, which gave no sign they were shutting down early. If early closures are standard, they should update the hours or at least communicate it more kindly. A disappointing experience that soured what could've been a peaceful coffee stop. read more

Peet's coffee is my coffee of choice at home. My previous neighborhood didn't have a Peet's coffee. But my new neighborhood does, so on a recent lazy Autumn weekend afternoon I snuck out of the house to go to this location. My sole purpose was to enjoy a cup of coffee and chill on their outdoor patio. Mission accomplished. The shop is located in a beautiful architectural designed and landscaped small strip mall on the corner of White Rock and Latrobe Road. This location has no drive thru. You gotta park and get outta the car. I got into the seasonal mood and got a peppermint mocha and requested it to be made of oat milk, it was good. I also got a chocolate croissant. They were able to warm it up. Ooooey warm chocolate. The drinks and food are served on paper. The outdoor patio is pretty spacious but oddly there weren't a lot of tables. It is right next to the neighboring restaurant's patio, divided by a 4 feet wrought iron fence and planters. The area is elevated and you can hear the sound of the intersection traffic. I didn't mind it, it reminded me of white noise. Overall not a bad neighborhood coffee spot. read more

8/11/2021 What to do when you're off and drop off kiddos to school for what feels like the first time in ages? Grab some beverages and try to enjoy a quiet morning! We saw Peet's and decided why not try something different since we had a gift card to use and rarely ever got to go since we were much closer to Starbucks so it was our usual go to. Walked in and had 1 person in line and 2 waiting for beverages. I usually order an extra hot quad hazelnut latte from Peet's (when I get to go) but decided to try something new. Ordered a horchata cold brew latte - interesting light cinnamon/sugary cold brew. I couldn't taste the rice/horchata as much. Also grabbed a revive strawberry lemonade kombucha and an almond croissant - warmed. The staff vibe is not welcoming sadly. They didn't seem happy. They were there to do a job and you can sense/feel that vibe. It's definitely Italy not what I'm used to grabbing coffee. A smile and greeting goes a long way for us in ways of returning and tipping. Our cold brew latte took a good 10 minutes to come out. No greeting/apologies for the wait or anything. I almost finished my almond croissant and I ate it very slowly! Ha! read more

If you want a proper latte, if you are a latte nurd and refuse to drink a concoction with just coffee and milk without the proper science of latte making, then ask for Aspin. She knows how to make a latte. Milk frothing is on point, crema is on point. Other places they will give you a cup of coffee with milk and call it a latte, dont pay that latte price, just buy drip coffee and add milk. Ive been to all peets from El Dorado to SF. Its hard to find someone who actually makes a latte. They had one in Roseville, but that was 3 years ago, she quit. read more

Nice location on the top of hill and close to a huge outdoor mall across the street. Been here about five times so far and each a great experience. Moved in July a few cities away. I come here because there are not many Peet's south of the river and it is nice here. Decent number of outside seats distanced apart during covid limited service (no indoor seating, at least six feet apart). When times return to more normal (opened seating) there is good indoor and more outdoor tables with chairs. The weather is often nice for outdoor visiting, reading, enjoying the outdoors with your coffee/tea and a snack. Above the busy road does not squelch all the noise but it is better than similar places that are located right next to road at the same level. My usual is a large iced green tea. The quality is on par with every other location so the consistency is appreciated. the holiday cups are really pretty cute. And thank you for knowing what "extra ice" means. :-) read more

This is a perfect pit stop for me on the way to Tahoe. Bathrooms are always clean and so is the shop. The staff has always been friendly and kind. They have vegan options which is nice. I prefer a cup of Peets compared to another major coffee chain so between the two I always stop here. Oh, and there is lots of seating both inside and out. read more

Beautiful location. When I visited a client in El Dorado Hills, I left that person's home and had one hour before seeing my next client. I went to Peet's coffee to pass the time. This one location is in a very fancy complex that contains a wedding shop, restaurants and small little shops too. Inside contains several areas, tables and booths to sit at including an outdoor seating patio with lots of tables with umbrellas which is nice since California is so warm outside weather wise. I bought my favorite egg and cheese sandwich which is on whole wheat toasted bread with pumpkin seeds; this is my favorite sandwich at Peet's! This one location had several options food wise including lots of pastries, sandwiches, fruit cups, veggie cups, milks (both dairy and non dairy options) and their signature drinks too. I also got a pineapple citrus green tea cooler drink (paired with a blood orange slice on top) which is out of this world amazingly delicious. Service was also quick and the customer service was outstanding too. Love this location; recommend. read more

This location earns quite the crowd of EDH locals, and I can see why...beautiful patio, clean inside, friendly employees. If I lived in the area, this would be my go-to café. They have a new drink that I hope becomes a regular menu item: the Golden Tea Latte, flavored with ginger and turmeric. Got mine hot and it was absolutely smooth and easy to sip. Not as strong or bold as a chai tea, but you still get the earthiness of those particular spices. Lovely and inviting place to get your coffee fix. If this was my hood, I'd be a regular. read more

I have tried one of their desserts before and it was super yummy. I usually order an oatmilk latte and just love it. I made a visit to EDH Peets Coffee & Tea on Tuesday, March 29, 2022 ... very frustrated and upset because my Peets coffee app was NOT working and Not sure why!!! I needed to order my daily Peets Coffee for the morning before I head to work & I was in a hurry!! I went into EDH Peets Coffee, and spoke with Heather and Torrey who was the barista of the day. I was so upset about the app not working... BUT Heather made my morning A LOT better... she thoughtfully gave me my ice coffee drink as complimentary, and then to top it off... This Peet's is a little off the beaten path, up a big hill, buried in a shopping center! I was on my way out to Plymouth for the day and stopped in for a latte and oatmeal for the road. Being new to the area we decided to stop in and give this place a try. It was mid-day on a weekend and it was relatively slow. We were greeted with a smile and a very helpful staff, since it was our first time we had to learn cup sizes, portions, etc and they hipped us to all of it in short order. I ordered a 6 oz Mocha with a single shot, it was good and what I would expect. We chose to sit outside and the view west of the rolling hills is excellent, there were plenty of tables and lots of shade. For me to be a true regular I would need a drive-thru but any time I'm looking to enjoy a great cup of coffee and a view, I'll be back. read more

I want to love this Peet's since I pass by all the time on the drive to visit my parents but they don't make it easy. Every now and then my drink is made correctly but, unfortunately, most of the time it has tasted bad or grainy. I usually love all the other Peet's that I go to and it's made right 95% of the time. It's sad that this location is not as consistent. I'll probably keep giving them a chance because...coffee...but with reluctance and disappointment I'm afraid. They have a nice patio and cozy indoor tables, and outside of peak times, it's pretty easy to find a place to sit. They also have mobile ordering through the Peet's app, which is super convenient.
