Wow, so impressed by the food here. Coffee is spot on! I had a cappuccino and it was made to perfection. Crepes were delicious as well (I had the Greek goddess A++). The highlight of the meal was 100% the waffles though. They were cooked perfectly, slight crunchy outside, soft in the center. My one complaint is they charge you $1.25 for syrup... really? It's such a small cup. I'd rather they charge you .50 cents more for the waffle and just include syrup. Overall, great spot for breakfast or a cup of coffee. This is a mom-and-pop coffee shop that is superior to Starbucks in every way, hands down. After one of my coworkers invited me there for breakfast, I instantly fell in love with this establishment and decided to go back again and again once a week. It's what I call a real coffee house, where your food and coffee are served on ceramic with actual silverware and a reading area with a bookshelf catches your eye--you could even bring your laptop there to catch up on whatever work you need to finish. They have a quick and friendly staff at this quirky corner coffee shop. We came here to kill some time and use their free WiFi (get the code with your order for 120 minutes, or watch an ad for 30 minutes) and were surprised at how great their coffee is. I am currently pregnant, so my decaf latte expectations were not super high. They do dishes for here orders, and my latte came out with a foam leaf, and was the perfect temperature with the right amount of foam. My husband's tea was super hot, and huge (all sizes of tea cost the same because you pay for the bag only). We also had a giant chocolate chip cookie that was delicious. There are board games and books available, and we saw patrons utilizing them also. It seems like a great little community place to hang out and get a snack and a beverage. Such a fun chill spot! Definitely recommend checking it out especially if you're a coffee lover. You can tell it's a place the locals visit (which shows it's legit). They have a wide variety of coffees, teas, crepes and baked goods! The menu is massive so I appreciate that Randy was willing to give me some direction on what I would want from what I told him I liked. I got the sugar free vanilla latte size medium (because I wanted the extra shot of espresso that comes with it-per his suggestion). The coffee was nice in appearance and delicious in taste !! Just an all around easy place to come for coffee. But time I will try the London fog which is a combination of tea of choice, milk of choice and a flavor I believe. Randy recommended the Earl Grey so it reminded me of a chai tea latte but with less milk. The London fog is just topped with milk but does not have a lot of it. Sounds delicious! read more

I stopped in three Sundays ago and wanted a waffle with pecans but they were out of regular batter and no pecans. I tried the Vegan waffle with walnuts and ice cream and a iced unsweetened green tea. It was absolutely great I have been back the last 3 Sunday's having the same combination. I may do it again Sunday. I wanted to love this place, but I felt the service fell short. It took way too long to place my order and the line moved extremely slowly, considering how few people were in line ahead of me (4-5 people and I waited about 10 minutes before I could even place an order). I've been seeing rainbow lattes pop up all over social media and had no idea that there was a cafe that made them so close to me! I thought I'd have to go all the way home to California before I could get my rainbow latte fix. That being said, I ordered the rainbow cookie latte and thought I would love it, but I found it way too sweet, especially paired with my chocolate croissant. The food dye also turned my lips blue... So, probably awesome for Instagram, but not all that awesome for my insides. The latte was really just artificial flavors and colors! I would not recommend this. I also - mistakenly - ordered a large, which was an absurd amount of a drink that I really did not enjoy. I would give this place three stars because the environment is friendly and there are a wide array of tables to pick from. There are also little alcoves that offer more privacy, as well as a large open seating area. I've wanted to try this coffee house since I moved into the area a few years ago, but I admit I tend to stay away from Peekskill because parking can be difficult. Lately, though, I've ventured into the area more often and was across the street getting my hair done when I realized the coffee house was in front of me! I was already parked, so it was the perfect opportunity. I walked in and was immediately in love with the vibe of the place and the friendly staff. I was staring at the menu trying to decide what to get and the barista was nice enough to make a recommendation. My raspberry mocha latte was PERFECT! After I left a friend told me they make awesome crepes too, so I had to go back a couple of days later to try one. I had a huge crepe with fresh banana and Nutella and it was delicious. Thought it was a good deal for $6 too! I'm hooked and will definitely be back more often! read more

So... I did a thing recently where I thanked first responders at Hudson Valley Hospital in Peekskill. I was a COVID patient there and wanted to express my gratitude to everyone who took care of me. I noticed the floor I was on, the staff appeared to have a serious sweet tooth. Since Peekskill Coffee is my favorite place in town, I figured I'd do something "sweet" for them and the hospital staff. I delivered two huge boxes of delicious treats that were all individually wrapped, like tiny cookie presents. When I dropped them off, not only was there shock and awe at the hospital front desk but a serious THANK YOU because no one ever does this. Thank you Sunny and Rachel. We love taking our dog there, walking around Peekskill, brimming with cultural diversity, the coffee shop has an adjacent open area with outside seating, making it easy to go with the dog. The Apollo panini rocks and the baristas are great. read more

My friends and I came here after a long hike on Bear Mountain and wanted to relax before heading home. I got a Strawberry Banana smoothie even though I'm such a coffee gal because I was in the mood for something refreshing after exerting so much energy and it was okay. Kinda on the sour side, which was unfortunate because I did want it to be on the sweeter side. But the real highlight here is the fact that they have board games. We were only supposed to stay for a little bit, but ended up staying for a while to finish a game of Life. Kick-Ass coffee, cafe Americano and a mochaccino I can definitely recommend although regular cup of coffee to go is well worth double parking for.
