Kick-Ass coffee, cafe Americano and a mochaccino I can definitely recommend although regular cup of coffee to go is well worth double parking for. I had a drip coffee, I let the attendant choose type. It was pretty good, not very strong with a hint of bitterness. I had hoped for a fuller, bolder flavor. I also ordered a salad, the greens were fresh and crisp, the skimped a little on the walnuts and the Parmesan cheese was the fine, powdery kind, not the freshly shaved style I associate with finer restaurants. The balsamic vinegar dressing was perfect, thick with just the right amount of acidity. My portobello mushroom panini was ok, very mild in flavor. It could have used a few sundries tomatoes, mustard or just plain black pepper to add a little pizzazz. The bread was toasted just right and overall the texture was perfect. I also had a chocolate chip cookie. It was the chewy kind, with dark and milk chocolate chunks in it. The 'cookie' part was good, not too sweet and with a pleasing texture but the chocolate chunks were a bit sweet for my taste. Service was ok, the attendant was a bit distracted which made the line move slowly but my food arrived quickly. At $15 for this meal I would call it a good value. read more

All I can say is WOW! We just wanted a nice Sunday drive, so I Yelped for a bagel place up north from us, but when this was the number 1 rated response, how do you say no? We started with the savory crepes; the Frenchie and the Adam and Eve. Both were amazing and a great lunch. After such a great lunch there was no way we weren't going to do a sweet crepe as well. I went with the American Honey (not on the board, but in the menu) and my wife did a custom with peanut butter and chocolate. Again, just amazing. They are also equally talented with the espresso machine! My cappuccino was fantastic! The staff is sincere, genuine, and friendly. If I lived out here, I'd be a regular, but since I don't, it will become a new favorite destination for nice day road trips for sure! read more

Seriously love this place! I'm not from the area but it's worth traveling for. I have never been disappointed with their coffee, and the atmosphere is welcoming and comfortable. You can pretty much do anything here and still be completely at ease. I've managed to study for finals while the rest of the cafe was playing a trivia game...somehow it's just not distracting! It's spacious and charming and I love all of their coffee/snack options! There is also free wifi for paying customers, and the baristas are super friendly...always a smile on their faces, and always pleasant and approachable (unlike some coffee shops with pretentious baristas) The only negative thing I can say is that sometimes they close a bit earlier than expected if they aren't busy, but they do not kick you out and allow you to pull yourself together without rushing you out the door--I can see how this would bother some people but it's only happened to me once and I didn't mind too much. read more

I've been to Peekskill Coffee House twice and love how charming it is. The food and drinks are solid and the staff are friendly (although at times the can be super noisy, which sort of ruins the environment). Huge bonus that they are one of the few independent coffee houses in Westchester with ample seating. I love all the vegan options including crepes and waffles along with the standard plant milks but I do wish they had at least 1 or 2 fresh baked vegan pastries, it was disappointing that the only options are pre-packaged cookies (although the pre-packed cookies they do sell are tasty). Overall, I would definitely come back! PS parking is metered except for on weekends. read more

I've been here twice, but only to grab coffee and go. The first time I came it was a Friday afternoon and it was quieter, but not dead. The second time I visited was a Sunday around 11. It was packed and the line was about 15 people long. I really like their coffee and my aunt and uncle who live in Putnam Valley frequent this spot for lattes and coffee. My uncle got the Barry White crepe once and couldn't say enough good things about it. All of the savory crepes sounded amazing, but I had just had breakfast. My boyfriend had the Schnozberry smoothie and despite feeling like an idiot ordering it, he really liked it. I had a sip and was impressed. Their menu is full of interesting things that are worth trying, but the coffee is so good that it's tough to choose. read more

It's the Peekskill Landmark of Coffee Houses. It's a real neighborhood hang out. The last few times I was in for much needed caffeine to get through the junior high school and high school graduations that were across the street. They pull a damn fine espresso and didn't even bat an eye when I ordered it over ice. They have tons of coffee, teas, and food option. There is indoor seating or you can drink your latte al fresco when the weather is nice. The crowd is a mixed bag of kids hanging out, students studying, mom & dads with kids. They have games to keep you busy. If you're lost in Peekskill just find this coffee shop and you'll be found easily by the other people in your party or just ask the baristas for directions. read more

Coffee is good, I love that they have Oat milk which I got in my latte. It was a bit heavy on the milk but it wasnt bad. The desserts are crazy overpriced ($5 for a connoli). The cashier wouldnt let me use my card because it was under $10, but my friend right next to me bought her coffee using her credit card with the other cashier no problem. Kinda shady but whatever. Decor is ecclectic/diner style. There was live music when we walked in which was really cool. Overall I would come back if nothing else is better, but I'm curious to try the other coffee spots in this town to compare. read more

Found this shop on a Yelp search on the way from Croton train station to Albany. Peekskill is a cute and quaint town. This coffee shop sat on the triangle corner lot with both street parking and a city parking lot down the street. Parking in the lot is free on weekends. There was plenty of outdoor seating. It was about 3pm on a Sunday afternoon and a performer was there singing acoustic and playing guitar. He had drawn a large crowd of people sipping coffee and listening. This created such a nice, laid-back vibe! I was slightly disappointed that they were out of bagels because I was quite hungry and there were not any other quick vegan options. However, I understand it was a Sunday afternoon and they were probably sold out. Not a big deal! I ended up ordering a 16 oz almond milk iced latte. It was about $6 which is kind of pricey. The latte was good but the almond milk did taste a little bitter. Regardless, I am happy they had a nondairy option available for vegans and those lactose intolerant. read more

The staff are really friendly, the environment is on point, and the artwork they have for sale all around is really nice. We both had the house blend which was soo good i thought about it all day. This is the platonic ideal of a coffeehouse. Comfortable, welcoming, wi-fi, bookshelf full of donated paperbacks, local art, etc. Oh, and good coffee and food. The only thing that cost it 1 star is that (at least whenever I'm there) they're always listening to, like, 70s soft rock or greatest hits of the 80s or something. Lovely place to have either late breakfast or early lunch. Menu consists of good selection of savory and sweet crepes, paninis - all at a very decent price. Very good selection of coffee based drinks and smoothies. We ordered Roma panini, Adam and Eve crepes and Belgian waffles for my son. Crepes are made to order and done perfectly. Panini missed a little zing and maybe a bite of green, waffles were good. My husband's iced coffee was poured out of the jug from the fridge, so there was no melting ice and taste was great. Service is prompt, line moves fast. Staff is very friendly. Decor is eclectic and cute, tables and floor were clean. It was a bit too noisy for my liking. Will go back if will be around. read more
