Peekskill coffee house is the best. Some young dynamic blood there and very artsy. Kick-Ass coffee, cafe Americano and a mochaccino I can definitely recommend although regular cup of coffee to go is well worth double parking for. Very crowded at times I think they're still doing music alternate Fridays. Enjoy can't recommend enough. And my cat says so too read more

Seriously love this place! I'm not from the area but it's worth traveling for. I have never been disappointed with their coffee, and the atmosphere is welcoming and comfortable. You can pretty much do anything here and still be completely at ease. I've managed to study for finals while the rest of the cafe was playing a trivia game...somehow it's just not distracting! It's spacious and charming and I love all of their coffee/snack options! There is also free wifi for paying customers, and the baristas are super friendly...always a smile on their faces, and always pleasant and approachable (unlike some coffee shops with pretentious baristas) The only negative thing I can say is that sometimes they close a bit earlier than expected if they aren't busy, but they do not kick you out and allow you to pull yourself together without rushing you out the door--I can see how this would bother some people but it's only happened to me once and I didn't mind too much. read more

Their waffle iron was broken and crepes were a half hour wait, meaning that we had waited in line for ten minutes only to find out that the only hot item readily available from the menu was...paninis... At least put up a sign or something. Edited after eating: the paninis were very good, and the coffee was decent. May have been a little hangry when I wrote the above, though my point still stands. read more

Very friendly staff and welcoming ambience. The coffee was just as good as Starbucks. Also had a peanut butter cookie that was fresh and soft. They have a variety of food options but I stopped in for some coffee and a snack. Parking was pretty easy. Will be back to try some food from their menu. Glad they survived the pandemic. Support this little gem! They are much much better than DD. read more

Super cool place. Inviting service. Good coffee and delicious pastry. Looking forward to visiting again!

Wow!! Amazing crepe! The dough was perfect and satisfied my craving for a good crepe! Not too sweet and not too filling. The latte was delicious and hit the spot. Atmosphere was on point, I wish I was able to stay longer and sit on the couch area to read. Highly recommend! read more

Peekskill Coffee - Nutella and banana crepe, Iced latte made with almond milk - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Peekskill, New York

All I can say is WOW! We just wanted a nice Sunday drive, so I Yelped for a bagel place up north from us, but when this was the number 1 rated response, how do you say no? We started with the savory crepes; the Frenchie and the Adam and Eve. Both were amazing and a great lunch. After such a great lunch there was no way we weren't going to do a sweet crepe as well. I went with the American Honey (not on the board, but in the menu) and my wife did a custom with peanut butter and chocolate. Again, just amazing. They are also equally talented with the espresso machine! My cappuccino was fantastic! The staff is sincere, genuine, and friendly. If I lived out here, I'd be a regular, but since I don't, it will become a new favorite destination for nice day road trips for sure! read more

Pass this place all the time coming and going in Peekskill. First time was a charm. Visited during COVID-19 so things were not normal as far a service and ability to sit but still the experience was great. The omelette and sandwiches excellent and the service was excellent. Oh, the coffee was delicious. Standard cup for me but plenty of other interesting options for those inclined. Highly recommend. read more

Great quality coffee. Can get busy and longer wait, but due to volume. Staff very efficient.

First time coming to this coffee shop and I must say it's a really great place. My Pumpkin King Latte was delicious! The overall vibe is artsy, kinda like Williamsburg meets Peeksill. I'll definitely be a regular here read more

Peekskill Coffee - Pumpkin King Latte...I messed up the design - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Peekskill, New York

Everything you could possibly want out of a coffee shop is at the Peekskill coffee house. The Friendly counter staff helped me pick out a latte and it was fantastic. I enjoyed a lovely pastry to go along with the drink which was delicious as well. I can't say enough about the ambiance and decor, there is a mood set from the moment you walk in and the time spent inside is always pleasant. Come here for your quick fix or spend all afternoon watching the sights and sounds this shop has to offer, a true 5 star! read more

First time here and instantly fell in love with the whole place. From the crepes and waffles to the ginger cider chai and the music playlist

I've been here twice, but only to grab coffee and go. The first time I came it was a Friday afternoon and it was quieter, but not dead. The second time I visited was a Sunday around 11. It was packed and the line was about 15 people long. I really like their coffee and my aunt and uncle who live in Putnam Valley frequent this spot for lattes and coffee. My uncle got the Barry White crepe once and couldn't say enough good things about it. All of the savory crepes sounded amazing, but I had just had breakfast. My boyfriend had the Schnozberry smoothie and despite feeling like an idiot ordering it, he really liked it. I had a sip and was impressed. Their menu is full of interesting things that are worth trying, but the coffee is so good that it's tough to choose. read more

I've been to Peekskill Coffee House twice and love how charming it is. The food and drinks are solid and the staff are friendly (although at times the can be super noisy, which sort of ruins the environment). Huge bonus that they are one of the few independent coffee houses in Westchester with ample seating. I love all the vegan options including crepes and waffles along with the standard plant milks but I do wish they had at least 1 or 2 fresh baked vegan pastries, it was disappointing that the only options are pre-packaged cookies (although the pre-packed cookies they do sell are tasty). Overall, I would definitely come back! PS parking is metered except for on weekends. read more

Great coffee, crepes, treats, and atmosphere! That baristas are the very best! Definitely go if you want a perfect, bespoke cuppa!

Love this place! I've lived in Peekskill for FIVE YEARS! And I'd become a chronic complainer on how there's nothing to do around here... waaa waa waa blah blah blah. Last year I really started to become immersed in my "community happenings" and patronizing local businesses more than I did. This place is community. The coffee's hot and delicious! If you are craving cool atmosphere- this is your spot man. It's a mixed crowd too. The food is also delish! WHY? WHY? WHY? didn't I crawl outta my hole sooner? Don't become a triple why like me, get out there and support local business! Yum... and I'm done- mic drop lol read more

I really like the chill atmosphere and enjoy this spacious coffeehouse. I think the chairs that don't match each other here are cool and compliment the hipster ambiance. Coffee and the pastries are great too. I wish they have a sister store in NYC so that I get to visit more often! read more

It's the Peekskill Landmark of Coffee Houses. It's a real neighborhood hang out. The last few times I was in for much needed caffeine to get through the junior high school and high school graduations that were across the street. They pull a damn fine espresso and didn't even bat an eye when I ordered it over ice. They have tons of coffee, teas, and food option. There is indoor seating or you can drink your latte al fresco when the weather is nice. The crowd is a mixed bag of kids hanging out, students studying, mom & dads with kids. They have games to keep you busy. If you're lost in Peekskill just find this coffee shop and you'll be found easily by the other people in your party or just ask the baristas for directions. read more

Best place, hands down. Chill vibe. Workers are friendly and nail it perfectly every single time!

Been there many times for a wonderful (and artistically decorated to boot) cup of coffee, which I usually have with their outstanding large ginger cookies--hard to find in other places these days. Teas are also good. Friendly helpful staff, some are even natural comics! read more

Great coffee and cool retro atmosphere. Staff is very nice and they are expert baristas.

I love this place great customer service everything is fresh also I never feel rushed and without side tables just a nice place to hang out and have a great crepe or a great coffee one of my favorite places in Peekskill read more

Coffee is good, I love that they have Oat milk which I got in my latte. It was a bit heavy on the milk but it wasnt bad. The desserts are crazy overpriced ($5 for a connoli). The cashier wouldnt let me use my card because it was under $10, but my friend right next to me bought her coffee using her credit card with the other cashier no problem. Kinda shady but whatever. Decor is ecclectic/diner style. There was live music when we walked in which was really cool. Overall I would come back if nothing else is better, but I'm curious to try the other coffee spots in this town to compare. read more

Coffee was okay. We like to check out local spots when traveling, it was nothing amazing. Good to try out but wouldn't go back!

Great stop on our way back to Philadelphia! Charming place with great music. Glad we made the short detour into this mountain town instead of going to the next Panera at a rest stop. Great music playing not too loud. Plenty of sun. Dynamic seating. read more

Wonderful place! The baristas are the friendliest people in the world. They remember who you are and what you ordered often. The sandwiches are fabulous and if you want to have the ultimate experience try the lemon scone with ice latte or cappuccino.....incredible! read more

Found this shop on a Yelp search on the way from Croton train station to Albany. Peekskill is a cute and quaint town. This coffee shop sat on the triangle corner lot with both street parking and a city parking lot down the street. Parking in the lot is free on weekends. There was plenty of outdoor seating. It was about 3pm on a Sunday afternoon and a performer was there singing acoustic and playing guitar. He had drawn a large crowd of people sipping coffee and listening. This created such a nice, laid-back vibe! I was slightly disappointed that they were out of bagels because I was quite hungry and there were not any other quick vegan options. However, I understand it was a Sunday afternoon and they were probably sold out. Not a big deal! I ended up ordering a 16 oz almond milk iced latte. It was about $6 which is kind of pricey. The latte was good but the almond milk did taste a little bitter. Regardless, I am happy they had a nondairy option available for vegans and those lactose intolerant. read more

Great place for coffee and breakfast! Everything is homemade and cute little sit down areas to eat!

No place better - hands down! GF /vegan options and all yummy. Staff are all amazingly friendly and talented in their craft

We stopped in just for coffee, so my review will be limited. Peekskill Coffee house is awesome, and definitely a place hat i would go to on a regular basis if i lived nearby. The staff are really friendly, the environment is on point, and the artwork they have for sale all around is really nice. We both had the house blend which was soo good i thought about it all day. Seriously, the house blend might just be they perfect blend of perfectly roasted coffee one could have. read more

This is the platonic ideal of a coffeehouse. Comfortable, welcoming, wi-fi, bookshelf full of donated paperbacks, local art, etc. Oh, and good coffee and food. The only thing that cost it 1 star is that (at least whenever I'm there) they're always listening to, like, 70s soft rock or greatest hits of the 80s or something. I lived through that IRL and lemme tell you, they suck. I've heard Gerry Rafferty, Yes, and Laura Branigan in the past half hour. Someone should do something about this. read more

I'm obsessed with this place. I live 1.5 hours away and don't mind making the trek at all. Staff is friendly, crowd is awesome. 200 stars.

Great coffee and nice "old times" atmosphere. This is definitely a place to go to. Don't miss it

Great vibe and coffee at the Peekskill Coffee House. All-around yum too! Coffee is delicious. Love the sandwiches: Piggly Wiggly and Port Authority especially. read more

Lovely place to have either late breakfast or early lunch. Menu consists of good selection of savory and sweet crepes, paninis - all at a very decent price. Very good selection of coffee based drinks and smoothies. We ordered Roma panini, Adam and Eve crepes and Belgian waffles for my son. Crepes are made to order and done perfectly. Panini missed a little zing and maybe a bite of green, waffles were good. My husband's iced coffee was poured out of the jug from the fridge, so there was no melting ice and taste was great. Service is prompt, line moves fast. Staff is very friendly. Decor is eclectic and cute, tables and floor were clean. It was a bit too noisy for my liking. Will go back if will be around. read more
