    Our beloved refrigerator had a good run but sadly went kaput! We are so glad we chose Pearson's Appliance in Napa. We will return to purchase all of our future appliances because they stood by us and made sure we were happy with our purchase. Pat Pearson's father started the business over 70 years ago and currently, with three stores and four generations later, they are still going strong. In fact, his grandson was wheeling in a washer when we were there and asking grandpa where to place it. PRODUCT They have a good selection of brand name appliances. Choose basic functionality, energy efficient, and/or luxury appliances. SERVICE AND KNOWLEDGE This family run business cares about giving top notch, personalized service. Seriously, it was so refreshing. They understand the products they are selling, give honest feedback, and take all the time with you that you need. Big box stores and online purchases will not go to bat for you and your family like a locally run business. Our vision blurred and our eyes crossed from an overload of information about refrigerators - if it wasn't for their help, we would still be looking at one gray fridge after another with a glazed expression. DELIVERY Pearson's work ethic and level of service continues during delivery. I learned that all of their delivery guys are employed by Pearson's. They handled the appliance and our surroundings professionally and with care. They were personable and it was a pleasure to welcome them into our home. They even installed the ice maker as a courtesy for us, which was not included. CONCLUSION I cannot say enough how refreshing it is to find a business that actually cares, can hold a conversation, and give excellent, knowledgeable service. It lifts my spirits. Thank you Pearson family for what you do!

    Do not purchase anything from this business. We purchased a new dishwasher from here the beginning of Nov 2022. We decided to have them install the unit since the price included delivery and haul away of the old machine. Fast forward 4 weeks to the end of November. I'm working on replacing a cabinet hinge under the sink and I notice moisture in the grout lines on the kitchen floor. I started trying to find the source, which I did. The hot hose fitting coming off the shutoff valve at the wall going to the dishwasher was leaking. It was a steady drip every 2 seconds. I tightened this up nearly 2 turns and the leak stopped....yes, this is what I paid for, a "professional" installation. 4 weeks of a drip every 2 seconds 24/7, that's a lot of water. The kitchen floor is now ruined. The ceiling drywall in the basement is ruined. Pearson's sent their install team out today to survey the damage. They actually said it was all wet, just as it looks today, on the day they installed the dishwasher because of a faulty valve. I know that's not true because I used my shop vac to clean the area while they were bringing the new unit in. And, why would professional installers put a unit in over a soaking wet floor?!?! That's something that is brought to the homeowner's attention immediately and the install put on hold. Save yourself from grief and frustration and take your money elsewhere. Zero stars is a more appropriate review. However, 5 stars for substandard work.

    In June 2025 we searched for an oven repair project on Yelp. The oven was overheating and the door…read morewould lock as a result. Food inside would burn. Error codes appeared and were provided to Peter who responded timely. Over time Grant and Peter both came to our home and attempted to repair the oven. Both were cordial, on time, and left the place clean but neither seemed to have the knowledge or capacity to complete the job. First visit: Grant spent a considerable amount of time researching the error codes and how to proceed using his electronic device (phone or tablet). He replaced a small part and the oven worked a few times then the problem reoccurred. We requested a more experienced tech come out and the owner (I believe) Peter came out. During that second visit Peter suggested rebuilding the motherboard. After months of waiting we received a text that the motherboard had come in. Peter reinstalled the motherboard on the third visit. During our Thanksgiving meal preparation on Thanksgiving Day the problem reoccurred. We called and sent a text in desperation - advising our ham was in the oven. We didn't hear back. We received a text message on 12/1/25, stating they were closed for the holidays, and asking if we were able to get our oven fixed? During the fourth visit Peter didn't know what else to do, and offered to install a new oven or refund the amount of the service call. He sent a quote for over $2100 for a new (low end) Whirlpool wall oven (our current oven is a slide in) which included installation and haul away of the existing oven. I had done some research and determined that that price was greatly inflated so on 12/12/25 we accepted the offer for a refund for the service call of $477. We finally received the refund via Zelle on 1/14/26, after numerous follow up attempts in writing and by phone. Based on this experience it doesn't appear their skill levels go beyond maybe simple repairs or installations. Both Grant and Peter admitted that a lot of the work they do is for home warranty companies. The integrity however is a bit bothersome - the delayed refund, lack of communication pertaining to its status, a lie from the office staff stating an email was sent on 1/5/26 asking if we had Zelle, accepting a job they weren't equipped to complete, and not having on-call response for emergencies. Sorry I can't recommend at this time.

    Our washing machine would stop running during the middle of a wash cycle. I contacted the…read moremanufacturer and their corporate service division sold us an extended warranty and recommended an appliance service company based in Southern California. That company was not able to repair the washer. One of our neighbors recommended Appliance Worx and I'm so glad they did. Their techs were able to diagnose the problem and repair the washer. While they were here they were also able to clean a blocked dryer vent for us. They were prompt, friendly and efficient and I recommend them highly based on our experience with them.
