I'm giving 3 stars only because I have had a great experience in the past, so I don't want to take the credit away from dr. Alex or anyone else I've dealt with in the past because they were fantastic! I called in today to see if you guys took my new insurance and to see if I was due for an exam. The woman I spoke to on the phone was so unpleasant and rude. She had such a rude, arrogant tone like I was bothering her. The staff is excellent. My dog somehow got a hold of my glasses during the night and chewed up the left side thoroughly. Even though I was not a patient of theirs since I recently moved to the area, they were able to match up my prescription and get me into a new pair within minutes. read more

I had a fabulous experience at this Pearle Vision. I was helped by Eva who is absolutely fantastic. She was extremely knowledgeable and more helpful than you could ever expect. The location is extra clean. The quality of the eyewear is top shelf. If you need a pair of glasses or contacts or an eye exam this is the place that you should go they will take excellent care of you. Rude. Came here to get my glasses adjusted, and the optician complained to my face why she loathes adjusting frames that weren't purchased from them. Do not buy your glasses from this office. They do not notify you per the Massachusetts States law that all sales are finale. Since each site is a franchise, calling the home office will be no help. I was charged $450.00 for one pair of glasses, never notified when they were ready to be picked up, and looking to deal with this through small claims court. Don't buy your glasses here, look online, and save 75% or go to an independent optometrist. good luck! read more

My husband and I recently visited Pearl Vision in Wilmington, MA and we were very happy with the knowledgeable staff and wonderful customer service. Eva worked with us and she was very helpful. My husband's eyeglasses broke in two at the bridge of the nose and he didn't want to invest in a new pair of glasses with an old prescription, considering the fact that his next eye exam is coming up in a month. Eva was able to find a pair of plastic frames that would accommodate my husband's old lenses - with a few adjustments and some heat from their special machine. The new frames are working great and we will be sure to return to this particular Pearl Vision after my husband has his next eye appointment and with his new eyeglass prescription. Worst customer service I had ever dealt with. They did not have my information under the correct name. They told me I was seen in a year that I did not even live in the area. They could not find my prescription. The people at this location are awful. My experience with the dr was also not great. He was very unclear and quick. read more

Quick service, however once they gave my prescription they refused to measure my PD number since I didn't want to buy my glasses there. I called asking if they could measure me, they stated no you're not buying them here. Called back again asking if they were doctors turns out they are NOT!!! Can you say false advertising?! Ugh .. Shopping for glasses is possibly my least favorite thing in the world, but Linda at PearleVision has made the entire process about as painless as it can get. I visited last week and she spent at least an hour with me helping pick out eyeglass frames and sunglasses. (The store has a great selection of frames, including tons for those with smaller faces such as myself). I couldn't order that day, and needed to return later. I came back a full week later and she still remembered exactly who I was and was just as pleasant. She sat down with me and talked finances to work out the best deal for me on both frames. Just annoying when I go to a pharmacy and drive home to realize the pharmacy actually gave me another persons script. Im not upset at the mistake and those easily could happen. Whats upsetting is when i get back there the pharmacy just closed by maybe 5 minutes. So i stood up at drive thru and saw a pharmacist in there. So i knocked on the window and no response. The person was maybe 8 ft from the window so I knocked louder and louder and they clearly ignoring me. Finally a coworker walks by and in same distance hears me. I hold scrip to wimdow and they see mistake. Now i wasnt feeling well nor was i in the mood to drive back but i didnt want them to tell the person they already recieved it. I called on a Friday around noon after I received a text message from husband stating that his glasses had snapped in half. (no joke . . . snapped in half perfectly in the bridge of the glasses!). This was about the eleventh vision place I had called for an appointment later that day, and they were able to accommodate us at 4 pm. The receptionist was AMAZING! She was very knowledgeable about the insurance side which made the visit even easier. Everyone was pleasant and helpful. We left within an hour with brand new glasses. We will definitely be back and I recommend this location of Pearle Vision to anyone and everyone. If I could give no stars I would! This is the worst place to buy glasses. They screwed up my glasses so bad, took at least 4 tries to get them right. They do not even care when they screw up. Pricing is horrible, they let you believe you are getting a deal, but they end up being more expensive. Steer clear of this vision center as it is like a big box chain who should not be allowed to sell glasses. read more

I have nothing but the highest praise for Pearle Vision in Wilmington. I had a very thorough eye exam by an extremely pleasant young lady who explained everything to me and was very knowledgeable. They have a wonderful selection of frames and a very pleasant woman helped me to find some that I loved. Unfortunately the prices are overwhelming, but this is not the fault of the staff. So if you want a great exam, go there! I had no trouble getting my PD number. If you can afford it, they have great glasses and great customer service. I highly recommend them. read more

Definitely the worst customer service I've ever gotten from a store. They were not able to complete my prescription upon my visit. They will NEVER call you back for anything.
