The doctor's good, she's explained everything pretty clear. But that front desk Tracy got a weird attitude, not easy to deal with.

Let me start by saying I had no reason to. This location is nothing like the other. The doctors were great at both locations, but Sports Arena was still better by a landslide. The tech in the beginning was so nice and funny and made the whole start of it easy, even relaxed. I was able to redo my Neurovision test, which I needed for my BVD, binocular vision dysfunction. If you don't know what that is, they explain it well and walk you through your options of treatment, and it's worth it. My motion sickness is finally gone after having it my whole life. Back to the doctor, she was kind and thorough. She made sure I was getting what I needed and gave me options. My insurance covers prism lenses for BVD but not Neurolenses. I've used Neurolenses last time, and they help amazingly, but I wanted to see if the ones my insurance covered would work, so she worked up the numbers for both in case I needed to come back to switch out for the Neurolenses. When she brought me to the front to be helped with getting glasses and going over my insurance with the next person, they both reassured me that if the prisms didn't work, I could bring back my glasses, and the amount I paid would be put towards the other lenses. That was a relief. The gentleman in the front who helped me also helped my husband that day, and he was amazing. He had a freeing vibe that was all his own, and he knew how to read exactly what you wanted. They being frames to you so you don't have to wander. It was a nice surprise to be catered to like that. He made it fun, and the few pieces of feedback given, he took to heart and redirected exactly to what you needed. He found my favorite pair of frames I've ever had. I've gone back and forth from metal to plastic but almost always doing black. Without knowing it, he grabbed a clear pink pair I was eyeing from across the room like he was reading my mind. I'm in love with them. They're the best-fitting glasses I've ever had, which is saying a lot since I have a small head, and most fall off. I've had to get kids' glasses in the past. These were kids' glasses, and they were perfect. He did amazing. Best yet, he did his magic all over again with my husband and got him a pair of frames he loves that he normally would never go for. My husband is a brow glasses guy. This time, with the help of this gentleman and a lot of convincing from his wife, he tried a full frame and loves it. They know what they're doing here. We'll definitely be returning!

MODERN LUXURY EYE WEAR (5 stars)…read more Get your eyes checked! Majority of us, if not all, pay for these health benefits every pay check and we don't use them. Mind you, your eyes are very important organs - get them checked. With that in mind, I decided to pick a good place based off of reviews because the past few years I went to "convenient places" with an optometry section (Costco, Target) and haven't had that great of service. Back to going to smaller independent optometrist for better overall service. I scheduled the earliest appointment which was about a week out and didn't have any preference on Dr. I ended up getting assigned to Dr. Phu! Depending on time of day, the area can be difficult to find parking - my appointment was at 5:45pm when everyone's coming home and had a difficult time looking for parking and was almost running late to my appointment. I was quickly brought to the back examination room. EXAM. Eye exam with the benefits I have - $10. went with the comprehensive eye exam. There were two options, one to get your eyes diluted (the oldskool way) or not (the newskool way) but with an additional $40 fee. I went this route. Did the regular read letters in different sizes. Then moved to 4 machines that did a variation of testing to check the health of the eyes and etc, do more testings, and take a picture of the anatomy of the eye. Happy to hear everything is fine and I am close to 20/20 vision - although I have worn bifocals since I was 8yrs old and told by several optometrist I have slight stigmatism in my right eye. This exam, there was no stigmatism - if there is it's probably so minor it's not noticeable. And no signs of glaucoma! The exam was about 30m. I reviewed my prescription right away and was not pushed to buy glasses here. FRAME SELECTIONS Very high-end and unique frames! Have you ever seen someone with amazing eyewear and wonder why they got their glasses because it stand out - this is the kind of place where you would get them. The frames here are very pricy but they are also very unique. Many cool ones with personality and pop but my character is very basic and simple that those wouldn't fit me. I asked about what if I brought in my own frames outside (brand new) and they are willing to work with you to get lenses for them. Of course addition paperwork will be filled. I like this place and will bring my future eye service to them. Until the next review...

She answers my many questions and explains all of the exam results, especially comparing my retina digital scans over time. She gave me recommendations for new eyedrops to help with my dry eyes and also provided recommendations for retinal specialists to get a second opinion. She's very friendly and easy to talk with and I trust her professional evaluations and recommendations. Patti helped me find several new frames that I didn't select while shopping online and I absolutely love my 2 new frames! I like that she not only adds more frames that seem in line with the frames I tend to like as well as shows me other frames that she thinks could look good with my face shape. Customer care is superb here and I recommend Urban Optiks to the many people who ask me where I got my frames. It's the only place I've found for unique frames. Yes, some of these unique frames will be pricey, esp if you don't have any eyewear insurance. However, the frames I've purchased are of the highest quality and will last a long time. Since I have to wear glasses the entire day, I have to like what I wear and they need to fit well and be comfortable. I've always found the best frames here! Very happy and I've been coming here for over 10 years!

I called last week five days ago to report that my Ray-Ban's hinge broke. I do not believe I will be returning to a business that cannot respond promptly nor uphold Ray-Ban's quality of service.

He was very good , but pricey. Also, I didn't always like how his technicians would push optional tests on you that you didn't need. They also didnt always tell you about the cost. You'd walk out of his office after about $300 without contacts or glasses. You could end up spending about $1500 for glasses or more depending on your prescription and if you add all the bells and whistles. At Eyeglass World you usually spend way less. Also, the customer service is outstanding. When I walked in I was greeted by Brian and directed to where I check in for my eye appointment, Tresten checked me in and he was very friendly. Within in 10 minutes I was called into the pre test room where he took a pictures of my eyes did eye measurements and the eye puffer test. He did ask if I wanted to do an extensive eye test for $15, but I declined. Not long after I was put in the exam room and Dr. Yarnell came about 3 minutes later. She was really good. She walks you step by step on your exam and the findings. After the exam I went to look at glasses. I had a friend with to help me look at glasses and see which ones looked the best. I was in between 4 pairs and than Monsay came to help us and she agreed on the glasses that were my number 1 choice. I spent after all the add-ons and insurance discounts $226.30. I'm just deciding if I want the 1 year protection plan for $25. I have 30 days to get it. Anyways great customer care/service. I will be back and have established a new optometrist.
