I have never felt more inclined to leave a positive review for an Eye Exam. I needed to update my prescription, and was able to schedule an appointment in short notice online. The front Office Staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. Dr. Darby gave the best eye exam I've ever received. The exam was thorough yet direct and to the point. I Felt the provider truly cared to ensure my prescription was accurate and that my dry Eyes were taken care of with the right selection of Contacts. Also, I was not pressured to purchase frames from the office, which I really appreciated. 10/10 Recommend, I will be coming back next year for my exam. read more

I went in just to get a new prescription, and I felt deeply cared for. The eye Dr. who saw me took his time explaining why certain tests needed to be done, what to expect in the future, and when to be concerned. He was knowledgeable, but also articulate in his distillation of complex medical phenomena to easily relatable experience... pretty cool with something as abstract, but shared of an experience, as vision. This being said, my visit took much longer than I expected, so if you're in a hurry, maybe reconsider for a time when you aren't. read more

Clearly this place needs a fresh review. I can't comment to the other noted challenges. I already had my prescription and frames when I visited Pearl Vision. They took my insurance, but, more importantly, was willing to work with my frameless glasses. Emily was very helpful. She walked me through several different options and even recommended a more basic option in some cases to avoid added, unnecessary expense. I could tell she was new, but she handled everything professionally and took the time to check on a few things to ensure everything was perfect. I'll definitely be back. read more

Took some frames in to get non-prescription lenses installed. The staff were professional, clear on pricing, and made sure I knew exactly what I was looking for, since I have little to no experience in eyeglass and lens purchases. They gave me a time frame for the glasses to return from the lens installers, and they arrived a couple days earlier than I expected. Bonus. Now that I have these glasses, I look like an authority on totally useless information. So not much has changed. read more

I am dumbfounded that anyone would rate their experience at Pearl as satisfactory. My wife and I went in and each ordered a pair of glasses. The young man who helped us was okay, but harried as he was the only employee in the store. Seven to ten days is what we were told. At fourteen days I grew impatient and called them. The phone was eventually answered by a recording that told me that their mailbox was full, then it said HANG UP. Really, voice mail with an attitude, how unique. I drove to the store, not knowing that the best was yet to come. The youth who "helped me," was indifferent and I mean TOTALLY INDIFFERENT when I calmly complained about the lack of customer service. When I asked her why someone couldn't have let me know that my glasses were yet another 7-10 days out, she did not respond at all. Unless you consider a dirty look to be a response. I asked her if her father owned the business. That I reasoned was the only way she could still have her job. She said "you are free to cancel your order and go somewhere else." I cancelled the order and then lost my temper in epic fashion. The manager asked me if I wanted to cancel my wife's order too. I advised her that I did not want to cancel her orderer, I explained that I'm her husband not her father she is free to shop where she wants. Well quess what, two more weeks have gone by with no glasses for my wife. They cancelled her order! I an old man who has conducted literally thousands of retail transactions, I have never experienced customer service as poor and as indifferent as I received at this business. read more

It was fine until I never got my glasses. After waiting 3 weeks I called to get status. The girl said they've been here 3 weeks! When I went to pick them up the same girl was bothered that she even had to get up to help me. Then she was bothered that I told her I waited 3weeks and no phone call. No response! As i began to walk out, I waited for a Thank you..... never got one. I even said...your not going to thank me? She said No! I told she was rude and I will never come back to this place. Would never recommend this location to anyone. Very unprofessional. Says they are suppose to open at 9 am and it's 9:33 and they are still not open. I have seen multiple people come up and try to get in for their appointments but the doors are locked. Absolutely ridiculous. Don't waste your time. I've gone to Pearle Vision religiously in other states with no issues but this location in Murray is another situation altogether. My appointment was at 10 am. The doctor didn't even arrive in the office until like 10:40. He looked hungover and has zero social skills. I ordered some glasses online and asked them to verify my new prescription with Pearle and after 6 weeks and multiple attempts to get in touch with them they've received no response back so I still have no glasses. I hardly ever write negative reviews and I am the type of person who will give people a ton of slack since I was in the service industry for many years, but this location is just not professional. Go somewhere else for your vision needs, I sure wish I had. read more

Giving one star because I came to pick up my glasses at 9am on Friday WHEN THEY SHOULD BE OPEN and am still waiting in the parking lot at 9:31am because NO ONE HAS SHOWN UP YET!!!! I have really mixed feelings about Pearle. I've gone here for years because of the good service I've received. And when I say years, I mean 16 years. But with my last pair of glasses they put in the wrong prescription, which I didn't find out until a year later when I has having my lenses replaced. They gave me a discount, but not all that much considering the gravity of the error. They also replaced the lenses in my sunglasses, and to be fair the glasses were older, but after I got the glasses back they were so stretched out they no longer fit. I tried having them adjusted, but they were not usable after this. I always appreciated the many years of good service, yet this last experience left me with a pretty bad taste in my mouth and a hole in my pocket. read more

Dr.grey and James were so helpful! This was my first time getting contacts and I had previously tried to go to eyeglass world which was a horrendous experience. I thought I'd try Pearle since my girlfriend has been going here for years. Unlike eyeglass world James took his time to help me. It probably took 15-20 mins but all he cared about was making sure I was taken care of. Extremely friendly guy and I will for sure being going to Pearle Vision from now on. This is to follow-up with our original visit, when we purchased the glasses. At the time of purchase, we were told we would receive a phone call once the glasses were back at their office from the lab. On a whim, I decided to give a call and see if they were ready, even though we hadn't been notified yet, but it had been 2 weeks. When I called the lady I spoke with advised they were ready to be picked up. I was hopeful that they just hadn't had a chance to call us yet, that maybe they had just come in earlier in the day. When we went to pick the glasses up, the original and clueless lady we had dealt with said she had tried to call us, but the number was disconnected. She confirmed the number and of course, they had the wrong telephone number on the paper. The odd thing about that, is when we filled out the paperwork at the start of the process, we had to write the phone number down a minimum of 6 times, on different forms, etc. I personally know, for a fact, we had written down the correct number and the 2nd woman did once we were helped by her. So clearly, the mistake came from the the first associate who wrote it down incorrectly. What bothered me most about this, was they didn't try to check any of the other multiple forms that had our contact information, even an email address; the glasses had been back for 7 days and just sitting there. No one even tried to really contact us, or they would have been able to. To top off the terrible experiences, they messed up the glasses and they were not correct and we did not get all of the features we paid for, in total, we spent $800 here too. They didn't appear to be sorry or concerned for their multiple mistakes. I will never return, or recommend this place to anyone! This place is a joke and has terrible service. read more

I would recommend Dr. Gray to anyone! He is the best eye doctor I've had and I have had several eye doctors and specialists. I had a detached retina several years ago when I was living in Georgia and lost vision to my right eye, so, I've spent more time at eye doctors than most people. I went in last weekend after I had hot oil pop into my eye while I was cooking. I called and they got me into their office that afternoon. Dr. Gray checked both of my retinas, and I was so impressed with how thorough he was. He also helped me get a new prescription for my contacts and glasses. They ordered my contacts right away and gave me a new pair to wear while I am waiting for my new prescription to come in. I am getting new glasses from them, too. I was surprised at how big of a selection they had compared to other places. I was super picky about the style I wanted but one of the assistants was really patient and helped me find a frame that I liked which fit my style and budget. I bought Rayban Model code: RB8901 5262 53-17, which costs $223, where in I have paid $249.99 on this store which is $26 more than Rayban site.After purchase I have talked to them on the price match and they did not match the price - which I expected majority of all store would do for the exact same product. I have eyemed insurance, which RayBan accepts and when I just did a math on the Rayban site , the total cost is way below the price I paid on Pearle Vision. read more

For starters, every single staff member that I encountered here was very friendly. Dr. Gray was super great. He actually takes the time to explain to the jargon and the endless number of questions I had. He is super patient and helps you find exactly what you are looking for by making great recommendations and letting you know what your variety of options are. Completely unlike other places I have been to where I was wasn't even really given any options and the doctors seem to be bothered by all the million questions I had! The associates are great and take the time to help you get the best deals too. I never felt rushed or pressured here in any way. Overall, I felt very taken care of here and I am very pleased with the level of customer service I have received here and would recommend this place to anyone looking for eye care! They saw my fiancé and I walking in and greeted us at the door, proceeded to ask if there was anything in particular we were looking for. I had a great experience with Dr. Gray. I am a recently (within the last two years) diagnosed Type 1 diabetic. I have to have my eyes checked for normal things and then for specific diabetic damage. He gave me the most thorough eye exam I have ever had! He took the time to make sure that he could see everything that he needed to and made sure there was no damage. He never acted like he was in a hurry or that he didn't have time to be thorough. He then followed up with my Endocrinologist to verify the exam had been done and shared the results. With other eye doctors, I have had to do all of this myself. He was kind, educated and patient and made sure to explain things as he was doing them. I would highly recommend Dr. Gray and Pearle Vision in Murray, UT to everyone! read more
