Horrible experience! I spent good money to purchase nice Costa frames and lenses. Had to go back 3 times because the prescription or lenses were not right. They re-made the glasses lowering the script strength and still I could not use the glasses. Did not even wear them for 15 mins before I put them back in the box. I tried to return them and they would not provide a refund. I left the brand new glasses at the store and walked out of the store with nothing. I guess they can donate them or something. read more

I am from Texas and was here visiting family. When I first got here I noticed that my nose piece on my glasses was digging into my skin. I realized that I had lost the silicone noise piece. Since I can't see without my glasses I couldn't repair them myself so I stopped in to LensCrafters in Jordan Landing. I spoke with the Assistant Store Manager, Saige Castellanos about my problem. He was so kind and helpful. He had my glasses fixed up with 2 new silicone nose pieces before I even had a chance to sit down and get comfortable. He even adjusted them for me. I went back to get glasses after not having worn them for 10+ years. Everyone in this store was extremely helpful and patient. Doris was GREAT in helping me find new glasses. She went through all the options with me, fully explained pricing on each option, how long it would take to get each pair in, and found me exactly the pairs that I wanted. I previously had a bad experience with getting glasses and an eye exam with another company so I was a little hesitant to go back out there and try somewhere else this time around. My main reason for going to LensCrafters was because they are a preferred provider on my vision insurance plan so I decided to give them a try. I just have to say I am so glad I came here! Scheduling my appointment was super easy, it's done all online and there were plenty of times and dates to choose from. I ended up having to reschedule my appointment and that process was also very easy and can be done online. When I got to my appointment the store was very clean and organized, and the staff was very friendly! They took the time to explain things in detail to me, making sure I knew the process and what to expect. I booked my appointment with Dr Campbell, not knowing anything about him and he was amazing. He was very helpful in explaining things and answering all my questions. I Highly recommend him! When it was time to check out and go over any questions I had the employee who rang me up for my vision test etc was really thorough in going over everything and making sure I understood what my insurance would cover and what the cost would be. The employees genuinely seem to care about you and your needs and making sure you know for sure what the pricing is and what you are getting yourself into. Ok so I'm giving 3 stars bc of the stuff I had to deal with after placing my order. Just for reference I've been going to LensCrafters since I was like 10yo and in many different states. I just moved here and needed new frames bc the last pair I got, as cute as they were, just didn't hold up well even though I'd only had them for exactly a year. Anyways I go here bc I figure the store with the best ratings would be the best right? Well initially that's what I thought. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The woman that helped me was very nice, she talked a bit but helped me pick out the right pair for me. So I place the order and they estimated 2 weeks and I say ok cool. About 4-5 days later I get the text saying they're ready and I go drive the 20mins south to get them. I get there and I'm like uh those are the wrong colored frames. This hasn't ever happened in all my years going to LensCrafters and especially not after I take a while going back and forth between two pairs I really liked. So they say oh I'm so sorry but if you don't mind we can order the right ones or I can take those and give you the sample frames with your lenses. In my head I'm like no, they're scratched up, idk how many other faces they've been on, I didn't pay $400 to bring home frames that might not last me another year. So I take the ones they give and they place the order saying they'll text me when they're ready. It's been a week so I called to check in a few mins ago and she said she thought she called me yesterday to which I said no you didn't, then I was on hold for 5 mins bc they hadn't been put with the ready orders? Idk I'm just a little irritated with how this operation seems to be run here. This is obv a rant but this whole incident shouldn't have even happened and that's why I'm frustrated. Horrible service, I get told my lenses had shipped and then the next day they had not shipped, then the next day they were in shipping then told the next day they hadn't shipped. Told 10 to 14 days and here it is and nothing, they don't even know where they are or when they will get them in. It's ridiculous of how unorganized they are and cannot convey any real information to you. Just lie after lie after lie. Don't shop here. Just save yourself some time and don't buy glasses here. Ordered a pair Oakley frames and they took forever to deliver them. After 15 days of waiting I decided to go to the store to check on the status and they told me they forgot to order. What a waste of time. I had to wait again for them to deliver. Definitely not happy with how they handle the situation. They won't give you your pupillary distance anymore unless you buy THEIR glasses. An eye exam for glasses, where they won't give you the information to buy glasses unless you spend money on top of the appointment cost to buy theirs? I'll go elsewhere next time. read more

Warning to all purchasing Contacts!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. If they try to talk you into the Alcon Rebate don't do it. I was told to wait to submit the rebate until I received the contacts. I put a copy of the receipt and the photo of the information that came with the contacts. It said it could take up to 6-8 weeks. I waiting then found out that it was declined 3 day later , and I had 30 days to resubmit the information. They claim to have sent an email, but I only have the one confirming the sign up to their site. They said you should check the website. ( but go out to their website and it says you "May come back and check". ) I am now out $200 and Lens Crafters won't do anything, and neither will Alcon. $200 is a decent amount to be cheated out of. Because of this I will not purchase any Alcon Product again, After 5 years of being faithful to Lens Crafts in this location, I will not use them again, and Dr. Chad Campbell has lost a patient. read more

I really liked the optometrist they had at this LensCrafters. He was personable and thorough and they worked us on without a wait. I'd give him 4+ stars. So why the low overall review? The "front house" staff that manages the retail end of the business is way too aggressive. This was probably the worst example of high pressure sales tactics I've faced in recent memory. I just wanted to take my prescription and go (which is your legal right), but they brought out the full court press. They would not take "no" for an answer, continuing to pressure me and trying to make a sale. At first it was just annoying, but as they continued pushing it became uncomfortable, then outright disrespectful. I think I had to ask for my prescription five or six times before they complied. I understand that they want people to buy glasses from them--it's where they make their real money--but their relentless approach actually had the opposite effect. I vowed to not only NOT purchase my glasses there this time, but as a matter of principle, I'm unlikely to EVER buy glasses there. I've always been happy with the quality of LensCrafters in the past, but the aggressive tactics are a huge turn off. I can't recommend this shop. read more

I came in hoping to get an emergency pair of same day glasses because my eyes were reacting poorly to my contacts. I have incredibly poor vision and apparently just as poor insurance. The assistant manager went above and beyond not only ensuring that I would get my glasses today, but that I could get my glasses at a price I could manage to afford. This office is so horrible. I've been trying to get just my prescription for my contacts for 2 days now. I don't understand the difficulty of this task. I went in person myself to get it, and I went to Costco where I usually get my contacts. They wrote the prescription wrong, tried called the office to fix this. They said sure, we'll send it right over. They took about 15 minutes just to call me back saying. Oh we don't have the update of your prescription on file. I informed them I was just in 10 to 15 minutes ago. How is my prescription not correct? I just don't get it. Rachel said I'll look into it and see what I can do. She didn't call me back, I called her back. Since it was taking more than 10 minutes. She informed me that person that wrote my prescription was no longer their, and neither was the doctor. And neither updated my prescription. She said to call back the office tomorrow and she'll talk to the doctor and have it fixed. I call the next day, the lad that helped me said hold on.. let me get to a computer. I was on hold again for 10 minutes, and got disconnected. It's anyone else's fault but theirs. Back in January I went in for an eye exam. It took them a month to get me my glasses and when I picked them up, they had sent the wrong frame. My vision had gotten pretty bad so I really needed my glasses and opted to just keep them rather than sending them back for the correct frame. Toward the end of February, I asked about contacts only to find out that they had not sized me for contact lenses. I was going to make another appointment and was going to pay an additional mount but then Covid hit. After quarantine, when the store was open again, they said it was too late and I had to get a whole new I exam. they offered a discount, but when they called to confirm my appointment there were no notes of the discount mentioned before. How can such a small office have such little communication? Long story short, nobody there seems to know what they're doing, and nobody there is willing to take accountability. I called the LensCrafter Store in Jordan Landing to order contacts for my daughter and I. The first time I called I was placed on hold for 10 mins without an answer. The second time I called back I was told by Ariel, that they were too busy with customers and could not help me at the moment. Am I not a customer too? Ariel didn't seem to think so. He told me that they were too busy with the customer's in the store and would not help me. I told Ariel that he was a real peach. I was so happy with my visit to this LensCrafters location. We went in there to get my husband a pair of glasses with a gift certificate he got for working at the same company that owns LensCrafters. The guy that helped us was so great! We got there like 15 minutes before they closed and he was still more then happy to help us. I am sure he wanted to get home since it was closing time. He was willing to help us try out lots of pairs of glasses. When we had finally decided on frame he helped us select the lenses and was very knowledgeable. After we had placed my husbands order I told him my glasses seemed a little off. He adjusted them so well. I am sure to people who wear glasses these seems silly but those of you who wear glasses will understand how important a good adjustment is. It was the best adjustment I've ever had. Came to LC the first time to get an eye exam. The staff was very nice and helpful while I waited for Dr.Campbell. While in the exam room he asked me all the right questions about my eyes and the comfort of my contact lenses. I have been a contact wearer since 2002 and my eyes have been getting less less tolerant of them. Dr.Campbell made recommendations for a daily contact and gave me two different brands to compare. The staff wasn't pushy about selling me anything at that moment and let me know that they price match. I was back within a week to order my contacts. Dr.Campbell saw me and came out to ask how my eyes were feeling and for my opinion and feed back on the contacts he recommended. I was blown away he cared to touch base with me! My old eye doctor didn't even care what happened after I left his office. Everyone on the staff is so knowledgeable and bounce ideas off each other to help give me the best care for my eyes in the office and back home.
