ALL the staff here is fantastic! We walked in to look at frames, and despite every staff member tending to other customers, they were still attentive helping my daughter find the most flattering frame shape. They offered us a cold soda or water when we came in, and I received a text telling me the glasses were ready for pick up. I also received a follow up text encouraging me to call if I had any questions or concerns. This isn't Walmart optical, they carry designer names, so if you are looking for something cheap Walmart is probably a better choice. However, Visionology's prices were surprisingly reasonable for designer frames. read more

I love the staff here. They really care about you as a person and will work with you to make sure you know exactly what you are getting when you walk out of their office. Their receptionist Belle is incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and helpful, she makes coming into an optometrist a fun experience. Connor is such a great person as well, he will explain things about glasses that I never knew was there and is very transparent. Dr. Peterson is a great optometrist, he goes into detail about my eye health and always making sure I understand what he is talking about, caring about an individuals eye sight, and the passion for making sure the patient is getting the best care. Picture it. 2020. April-in the middle of a global pandemic. Virtually all businesses are closed. You have a pair of vintage glasses that need their lenses replaced so you call around to find someone that can do it. You find someone that is doing curbside drop off/pick up and following CDC guidelines. And they are nice. Jackpot! Dr. Peterson is fantastic, easy to work with and a perfectionist. He made sure my glasses fit just right, continued to adjust them until they were perfect. He was thorough in explaining what he was doing and listened to my questions or concerns. Well I was one of their original clients when this shop first opened and the clientele was very sparse, but he had the best staff running the front office and Optical area, but they were so good at customer satisfaction. But I believe employee retention is key to the success and this business started to grow and succeed, but the more they did, the less it became about the customer satisfaction and more about the high end products and making money for himself as noted but his fancy expensive car that he now keepers parked out front. This is just background for my last few interactions starting with a low star review, that they begged me to give them another chance, so I did but once again, staff turn over and now they have the worst optometrist technician. Amerita is not very skilled at her job or her people skills-- and she covers it up-- overcompensating with assertiveness not skill, she also doesn't take ownership in her mistakes, she blames everything on Dr. Peterson. I got a new pair of glasses and RX sun glasses towards the end of May, the RX in the lenses just weren't right so they had to change the RX and reorder them which took another 10 days after having already waited 14 days to RX finally came in tried them for a week or so but the frames ( and not i-expensive ones--Toms) kept slipping down and or falling off if I bent over....NO problem, it's Visionology they will make it not just ok or right it will be perfect... yes I took them and Amerita said "well of course your face is too narrow for this frame" which she and helped (quite insistently) me select avert much Silverstein. So she took them back to try to adjust and and bam just like that she snapped the temple piece off they frame. What a joke this became. The other games that would work for me--of course-- their standard, was going to be more money to get a different frame so I opted to get a refund and just use a frame (still Toms purchased from them, and only a couple years old) after waiting yet another 10 days it's now the 13 of July-- expecting my glasses to finally be back so I can see! But NO I get a call from Amerita once again saying that my lenses were in but when putting them in the frames she broke the frame!!! In believable but it gets worse--as she did with the other ones--she put them back together with scotch tape. I opted to just get a refund and a copy of my RX to go somewhere else. But really what I think is in the poorest form-- yes I get a refund but now they have two sets of lenses that are my RX strength that they will have to throw away--- Dr. Peterson but my old-- outdated lenses back in my broken frame and taped it up "so at least you will have something to be able to see... SERIOUSLY-- her put the old lenses/ prescription back in my frames that HE BROKE. No compensation for my broken frames-- the LEAST he could have done was scotch tape the new lenses/prescription in my broken frames so at least I could see better and make up a minuscule of compensation for BREAKING my frames buyer BEWARE if you choose to patronage this small fumbling bumbling wants be shop. read more

This is by far the best vision center you can go to, hands down! My wife has needed glasses since she was a baby (astigmatism), so we have gone to so many places that I've lost count already. Though out of all the places that we have gone to, this will be the first one we will actually be returning to and keep coming to. They greeted us by name the moment we walked in and offered us drinks. Everyone was super friendly, prompt, and patient. Even the doctor was super friendly and super patient with all our questions, since we just recently had a baby and wasn't sure if she was going to eventually need glasses. We are use to other places always trying to rush us out, especially the eye doctor, but not here, this place is definitely different than the rest. Then at the end they gave my wife a bag with some chocolates and a little bottle of lenses cleaner that we can take back for free refills! read more

Coming from out of state and moving to Utah was a scary transition in itself. Not to mention having to find new providers for my health, vision and dental. I am very BIG when it comes to treating patients like family. Dr. Peterson has been that dr for me. He and his staff have ALWAYS made me feel at home. They are amazing!!! I came in not too long ago during COVID as an emergency because I was at work and got hit inside my eye and it hurt to open it. Dr Peterson was quick to make time for me and saw me immediately. He gave me a couple of items to do and put on my eye. About two hrs later when I was about to go to the store for the ointment, I had forgotten the paper somewhere but by then the office had closed. My husband and I are photographers and have particular needs to have the best vision possible for the job. Dr. Peterson has been my optometrist for a few years and he understands my needs, got me set up with multiple frames and specialized Zeiss glass and precision prescription for the lenses, which are fabulous and worth every penny. He seems quite savvy with the newest tech in the eye industry. I have astigmatism which makes photography sessions tricky since glasses get smeared and foggy. I needed some contacts but have not found much for options in the past. Tried some a few years ago but they were uncomfortable and could only wear them a few hours. Once new tech came out he let me know about the advances, and proceeded to have me try options to make the photoshoots easier. He was on a mission to keep trying until we found the right option. Hopefully today we found the solution! The customer service of the staff is fabulous and they attend to your individual needs. I wrote to visionology through Facebook on a sunday to ask questions about my eyes. Dr Peterson thought I should be seen immediately to see if my retina was detaching and agreed to meet me that day at 4pm during the pandemic. Dr. Peterson is very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. He addresses all your questions and concerns and even takes his time doing his assessment. Jova and the rest of the staff were also knowledgeable when picking the frames. I wanted a specific frame that was not in stock and they managed to order it for me. They also don't up sell you on their more expensive frames or ordering contacts through them right away.
