I had to call 4 times across 2 days before I got ahold of someone here and never got a call back. On the 5th call, once I did finally get ahold of someone, 15 minutes into the call I still didn't have an appointment and had to go to a meeting and asked them to call me back in an hour which they agreed to do. 4 hours later after not receiving a call I had to call back in twice more over the next day to finally get ahold of someone and start all over once again. All I needed was a standard annual appointment and a corneal topography. They stated that this was no problem and part of their routine annual exam anyway. The next day I got another call from them in which they said (direct quote) "I'm just wondering why you want the corneal topography..." firstly, that's none of your concern, secondly, you already stated it was standard practice so why does it matter? 2 days before my appointment I get another call which I miss and they left a voicemail saying they moved my appointment a day earlier (without my permission) but I decide I'm already this deep so let's just finish it out. I show up to my appointment and the receptionist says that my appointment is tomorrow (the original time). At that point I cancelled my appointment because this is just insanity. You would think it would end there but 2 hours later I get a reminder for my appointment which I had canceled in person earlier that day. I have no idea how this place is still open, maybe the doctors are phenomenal. I truly can't speak to them and their expertise as I couldn't even get that far. You need a complete overhaul of your entire operating procedures. Good luck!

He educated me on all sorts of eye conditions, why my vision could be the way it is, the risks of not caring for my contacts and eyes the way I should be, etc and most importantly he was realistic. I was very impressed with the equipment and technology he uses in order to run the eye exam. He seems very up to date on all things eye care related. He has been upset with me because a couple years ago I exchanged a couple pair of glasses within the 30 day trial period according to policy. My phone #, did I want sunglasses, etc. I know he had my info but was trying to annoy me. I told him I needed to go and he told me to just leave. He said that when I came back I'd be stuck with him and when I picked up my glasses I'd be stuck with him again. SO SO RUDE!!!!! A lady came in while David was "filling in the blanks" as he called it. She just wanted to ask him a quick question and he jumped all over her asking her why she would think that her needs were more important than mine... Totally unacceptable! Totally disrespectful! He needs to be reprimanded for his behavior. I asked him if another employee was there because I was getting nowhere with his help. He told me she had gone home. Ten minutes later she comes out, sits down and begins helping a customer. I told David "I thought you said she went home?" He said she is working for free...not getting paid. Then he asked me if I wanted him to move so I could see the employee and I could tell her thank you for working for free. I will NEVER use Lens Crafters again. If their employees are not better trained to be kind and helpful, they don't need my business!!!

He genuinely seems to want to make sure you understand everything. He always makes me feel comfortable, and I can tell he takes as much time as needed with his patients. My husband and I have both had appointments where we waited a bit past our appointment time, but this doesn't bother me because I know he'll spend as much time with me as I feel like I need. I don't really know that much about pricing for actual exams as they are covered by my insurance, but I think he is pretty comparable to anywhere else. I have always bought my contacts from him, and he makes sure I have rebate forms so I get the best deal possible. They sell glasses there too, but I don't wear them so have never bought any. They seem to have a good selection of budget to designer frames. His employees have always been pleasant and helpful to me. The location is kind of weird. It's off of Fort Union Blvd, but it's a small shop, and the back actually faces the road. I drove past it twice the first time I went so just keep your eyes open when you get near. I think it's next to a swim supply store.

Wanted to replace old lenses that the coating was deteriorating, causing reduced vision. I didn't…read morewant to change the frames though, and most of the usual places won't do this. I walked in the store and was greeted by a lady sitting behind a desk. She asked what I wanted and assured me they could help with the lenses, but not with the prescription (You must have a prescription for eyeglasses, if needed, as Frameworks doesn't help with this.). I came back once I had a prescription and was helped by the same lady to determine what it was I wanted with the new lenses. We figured that out easily enough, and her suggestion of the mechanical blue light protection in the lenses was something I didn't even know existed. Now, a little less than a week later, I've got my glasses back and they are PERFECT! The lenses are clear as could be and are installed extremely well on my rimless frames. My frames were cleaned and tightened up like new. Wonderful! I would recommend Frameworks to anyone that needs glasses without reservation.

I am hard to fit because my allergies here in Utah to sage pollen make my eyes vary from day to day. He discovered this and very patiently adjusted the prescription until we had the most perfect fit. I got a LASIK consultation and Dr. West was so amazing. He explained all of the details of LASIK and answered all of my questions. I decided to go ahead and schedule the procedure, and I couldn't be more happy with my decision. I now have 20/20 vision and had absolutely no complications. I wish I had decided to get LASIK sooner, it is one of the best decisions. Dr. West and Dr. Charelton did an amazing job and were so professional and really care about their patients. The best part about this place is the provider Dr Pierce! Every appointment I've ever had at an optometrist felt like I was at a "vision mill" where they just check your prescription and try to get you out of the clinic as fast as possible to see the next patient. Dr Pierce took the time to break down the results of all of my test results in depth; perhaps since I'm an aspiring PA he could tell my nerdy passion for anatomy and went in greater depth because he noticed I appreciated it, but even still that's just the sign of an excellent provider! I never felt rushed during my appointment and he answered all of my questions about how to improve my dry eyes and even gave me regimen advice for hot compress as well as eye drop and eye health supplementation suggestions.
