My family and I have been going to Pearl in Melrose for years. I give it 5 stars because of great employees like Lori and Grace! These ladies continuously provide excellent customer service, very professional, friendly, patient, and they always help you to find the right glasses. In a recent visit, I was taken care of by new staff members who unfortunately did not come even close to the quality of service I have received from Lori or Grace. It was my first bad experience at Pearl from both an employee and a manager but I when I called I was fortunate enough to get Lori and she thankfully helped correct the issue. So again I commend her attention to detail and ensuring the paying customer walks out happy. If I could suggest anything it would be to train the new staff properly so customers, especially long standing customers like myself can continue to receive the quality care that we are used to receiving at this center. I'm a long- time customer at Pearl Vision in Melrose Park, Illinois. I have been a customer for over 20 years. When I go I ask for Lori F. Lori is Great, She's prompt, knowledgeable, a people person, and a Multitasker, and she know how to get me to spend my money I had my yearly appointment today, with Dr, Greenberg and Lori. I'm always satisfied with my purchases every year. Lori know what frame is for me better then me. I always say these frames cost to much, when Lori tell me how much my bill is, I say how much you say. We laugh because I know she's going to say you're getting a Deal. She's the Best... Have used this Pearle location for many years and have always been happy with their staff, service, exams and glasses. On my recent visit, Dr. Blase made changes to my prescription he thought would correct some of the issues I was having...but also said to try the new lenses and come back if they were not quite right. After 2 weeks, I was having slight issues with the bifocals and was given another appointment immediately. Dr, Blase worked with me to understand my small issues, and made changes to the prescription. Julie worked with me to insure my frames fit properly, and my new glasses were ready that same afternoon. Everyone was pleasant and helpful, my new glasses are wonderful..and there was no additional charge. They said it was important to them that I was happy with my glasses AND my experience. Great experience! Doctor was thorough and friendly for exam. Went back later to pick out glasses. Claudia couldn't have been more helpful! She helped me pick out frames that complimented my lenses needs (high prescription). She was also very informative in guiding me through picking out the best lenses for my lifestyle. I had lots of questions and she was patient, knowledgeable, and very thorough with her answers. I have worn glasses for over 20 years and have never had someone take the time to explain the options in the way she did. She also added a personal touch - complimenting my cubs shirt. Dr. Lang was terrific. Honestly the entire staff was so helpful. Lori assisted me from the moment I walked in. She explained everything to me she also helped me pick out my glasses. She is genuinely super kind and super helpful. There are plenty of Pearle Vision Centers near me the but I don't mind the 35-minute commute to go there. Besides this place being so big the so many different styles and varieties the selection was just awesome. This was my first visit and exam at this location. I have been a customer for many years at a Chicago location, however a move and distance became an issue. I am very pleased with the entire process. They had my file transferred over, scheduled my appointment and they helped with everything else. Good atmosphere. The attending physician was awesome (sorry name escapes me). He was very informative and we actually discussed my vision concerns. Lori was great. Extremely helpful in selection of eye glasses and explains cost. Personal input was genuine and helpful. Great Eye Care Center! Doctor's are caring and professionally knowledgeable, especially Dr. Blase. Also, every associate on the floor are very attentive and polite. I, especially like Lori. She is professional and knowledgeable when it comes to finding the right pair of glasses, especially with the vast selection they carry, it's overwhelming! However, she is passionate about what she is doing, and makes the time to assist you! This place has no customer service at all. They can't seem to understand how insurance works and claimed I already used it up a year ago when in fact I never made a purchase for glasses ever! Then they accused me of going to another location trying on glasses and that they probably charged me at that time. UTTRLY RIDICULOUS!!! I called my insurance and it showed no problem AND! the insurance company tried calling them and they never answered. My granddaughter has been asking for me to schedule an appointment for an eye exam. Problem is she never knows when she is coming. On Tuesday June 5th there she was. I called Pearl Vision to ask if there were any openings. Lori had answered, I explained my situation to her. Lori was so lovely and helpful. My granddaughter was getting her exam two hours later. Thanks to Lori my granddaughter received her eye exam and new glasses. I am grateful that Lori was able to get us in. This is regarding the Melrose Park location.Lori was great!!!!!! I was skeptical about someone else picking out frames for me. When I told Lori the approximate shape I was looking for, she generously brought out a tray full of beautiful frames. It was hard to pick out just one because most of them were great! I am in a wheeelchair, and the staff was most accommodating, and also make sure that everything was cleaned. Dr. Blase was wonderful and most accommodating (because I'm in a wheelchair) and answered and explained all my questions fully. I just can't wait to get my new glasses! read more

Sean was awesome! He's super detailed, thorough and PATIENT. You should have seen how many frames I pulled over to the desk.. just couldn't make up my mind. We worked through them... he gave his advice and I feel like I left having made the best decision on frames. His customer service was TOP NOTCH. And Dr Lang is my Doctor. He is AWESOME!! My boyfriend and I took our 3 kids to get an eye exam and glasses. The exams were fairly quick, and the staff was great with our wild children (they were running around trying on all of the glasses and becoming impatient during each other's exams). We were having such a difficult time with our kids picking out the "perfect" glasses / sunglasses, but LORI was AMAZING!!! She helped keep us calm and our kids calm.
