I walked in twice with glasses that I didn't purchase from Pearle Vision. Both times the customer service woman was friendly and helpful. I needed new nose pads both times and she changed them without question. I don't have experience with exams or selecting frames and lenses, but I would have no issue recommending them for repairs. read more

I saw the doc Dec 2nd 2019 then they proceeded to order the wrong frames. It has been almost a month now with no glasses yet. If I were you I would come here for the eye exam but do not order glasses from them. They have extremely high prices and very slim selection of glasses. I gave one star only because I had too and when I got my eye exam the doctor was friendly and seemed competent. However, when my jobs insurance changed I had to switch providers and I'm glad I did. Since the switch I've had nothing but horrible responses from staff and them not wanting to give me the information I need. I call up there to have them fax over my prescription of an eye exam I did 2 weeks ago and they put me on hold for 13 minutes until they closed. It would have taken them 2 minutes to fax it over. Just another reason added to many that I'm glad I don't have to go here anymore. Get what you need before you leave the store. read more

CUSTOMER SERVICE here is a joke!! There is NO ONE available in person outside of appointment hours AND good luck trying to chase them down over the phone. They say they are short on staff coz of covid, but at least have ONE person available during business hours who can be a point of contact to customers. They don't even have clear instructions posted outside on their door on HOW to freaking talk to an actual person/what hours will an actual person be available on the phone. Their office is mostly locked even during business hours. The only way you can reach someone and get your questions answered is if you leave their highnesses a voicemail for which they have specific protocols (you're supposed to leave your name AND mention that you're a patient and not a telemarketer, otherwise they don't even bother calling you back) which is not even mentioned in the voicemail greeting (you're somehow magically supposed to know that when you call). If you're lucky enough to make it past this stage, you might receive a call back in a few days, which you're most likely going to miss coz remember, they only call you at a time that works for them. So have fun playing phone tag with them for days. You'll have much better luck reaching your ex. I regret getting my eye exam done with them and now I'm stuck with them for a year. There's no way for me reach them with questions about follow up and whatnot without waiting around for someone to call me back. What the hell! I give this business a negative five!! read more

This Pearl location gets one star because the doctor was friendly and knowledgeable. For quality of customer service and how they value their customer I wish I could give zero stars. We switched to Pearl because they accepted our insurance and our old eye doctor's office did not accept this new insurance. My husband had ordered glasses, I ordered contact lenses. We're told it'll be 3-4 business days for the contacts to come in, a week or so for the glasses. That's very similar to the wait time at other glasses places we've gone to in the past. A week later I hadn't gotten a phone call that anything had arrived, so I called them. Nope, nothing had come in yet, they'll call me as soon as something arrives. A week later, still no contact from them. So I called, and what perfect timing I had, as my contacts had just arrived that morning! Nothing on my husband's glasses. A week later, nothing about his glasses. A week later, still nothing. We're going on a month now. So I call, and am told that his lenses failed inspection. Any ETA on when his glasses will be in? No. I let the person I speak to know that I am disappointed in their customer service. Shouldn't they be the ones to call me with an update, instead of me chasing them down? Service like this means I'll be going elsewhere next time. The person I'm speaking to says I need to talk with a manager there, who isn't in today, but she'll be at another local location tomorrow if I want to call her. I request that this manager take time out of her busy day to call me, since this is a customer service issue that she should prioritize. I'm told to expect a phone call the next day. the next day? no phone call. two days later, a very friendly call that my husband's glasses had finally arrived. Had they told us the glasses were going to take over a month, this review would showcase their honesty. But nope. I feel the people at this location are evasive and not honest about what they can provide and the time frame in which they can provide it. read more

Did a great job helping me pick a pair of glasses I really loved at a good price! Was very friendly. Got me in and out with in no time!

We have had two members of our family get eyes tested. These appointments were several months apart. We aNever going back to this location. We found staff to be rude and Inefficient. We waited for more than 30 min both visits. We were asked to arrive 15min early for paper work( we did) then we sat for and additional 30 min waiting to be seen. Watched eye doctor approach other customers including taking a customer who arrived after us. We asked the staff why we were not seen next and staff manager said because the appointment was prior to ours. This was an out in out lie as we had heard the guest who was taken ahead of us tell them she had the same appointment time. I do not recommend this office. We came back the second visit to give this office another try. We will not be burned a third time. read more

I have been using this location for years, but something has gone terribly wrong. First of all their pricing is totally shady as they never tell you exactly that you are paying for. When they gave me my price for my glasses they were hundreds of dollars over my deductible, which is funny because I bought the same exact frames in a different color from two years ago. After she ble blop booped on the computer for a while she was able to get them down to within $100 of my deductible. I explained to her I just want a basic pair of lenses, which got it down to $34 with the protection plan. When I asked her to take that off my glasses magically matched my deductible (not a penny over or under), seems like they are just trying to bill my insurance for as much as possible. She also made me feel like a dirt bag for just wanting the basic lenses, because I didn't want to pay more than what my insurance would cover. So here we are 5 weeks later, still no glasses. I stopped in last Saturday to inquire and they were surprised they weren't here yet and told me they would call Monday. It is not Wednesday and every time I call the store I get the voicemail. If and when my glasses ever come in will be the last time I set foot in this store. read more

During my wife's last visit she talked to the associate about thinking of getting Lasik when she recommended her buying a year of daily contacts. She told her they could be returned as long as they weren't open. I let her know that I was planning on getting Lasik for her b-day so the we called the following day. No we're told they can only be exchanged for credit, that this is the policy, even though it's not on the receipt and not what she said. She then said that she would have said something followed minutes later by, well I don't mention it unless it's brought up. The receipt only mentions glasses. After the second time talking and third time calling they now say their the ones that worked with her and would not have done said what she did. Sounds like Sales tactics are blending their memory of the situation and no COVIDs causing issues with communication so the managers for some reason impossible to reach. $700 in non-opened contacts that we tried to return the same day as received. We' re still waiting for a resolution for the issue they caused by now being open. read more

The selection of glasses is great! The receptionists and people working the front of the business are very friendly and hard workers. BUT..... the actual eye doctor is terrible! I got my eyes checked their TWICE and he couldn't get my exact prescription down. I had to go to another eye doctor to get them properly checked out and get my lens prescription. The man was patient but he was also very very hard to understand. He talked very faced pace and had a sort of accent to which I could barely understand anything and found myself constantly saying "ok yeah" to save myself some dignity. I don't know if it's their technology that's outdated or the doctor himself but either way they couldn't get my perscription correct after two visits.... read more

Paid over 400 dollars for my daughters frames including a "protection plan". I was advised that it would replace the glasses. Well daughter lost the glasses, I called to get replacement and was told that's only if I can give the glasses back and something is wrong with them, it doesn't cover lost glasses. fast forward glasses were found and broke at the hinge, took in to get repaired was told it cant be and to use gorilla glue. Jan of this year, I took glasses in and demanded a new pair based on expensive protection plan, I was then told it would cost me $50 to replace the frames, and they no longer carry the frames she had, so had to pick out new frames. I was told I had to leave the broken glasses with them and that the protection plan is no longer valid, as it was good for only one replacement. I was told the new frames would be at the store in 2 weeks. Its now over 4 weeks, store does not return voice mails left. And when I called and actually spoke to someone, they were "surprised" no glasses yet, but they would call.....I will never go back to this store. read more

This location is no long corporate but franchised, which explains why I have doubts on my new glasses. Ordered two pair, asking and expecting brand-new frames as opposed to off the rack. When I picked up frames I noticed that the ones I picked out were no longer on the wall. I still suspect that those were the ones used in my "new" frames. Same true for sunglasses. Jacki tried to explain that they were "new" but did not provide me with a reasonable explanation. Previously I worked well with "Erica" (no longer at this location), even remembered her name after four years! I like the frames I picked out, the vision clear glasses are working well, had one adjustment on the temples, and the sunglasses are just "okay." IMHO, I would go elsewhere next time after spending nearly $800 and not completely satisfied with the answers I received about whether or not the frames were NEW and not tried on by others who picked them from the wall. read more
