The name of the business at this address is Portage Ophthalmology and not Vision Eye Care. Dr. Abdulhak is very kind and puts the patients at ease. I'm a cancer patient who is terrified at the possibility of metastasis to the eye socket and he was very kind in listening to my concerns and assured me he will do everything possible to catch anything early on. Filthy, waited 3 HOURS with my grandmother for a consultation. No sanitizing beforehand, it's so unorganized and disgusting. And the bathrooms...... let's not talk about those Avoid this place if you can, it's a train wreck. read more

Avoid this place at all costs. It's dirty and unorganized. You'll wait forever for even a simple exam. The doc walked in to my appointment 40 minutes after my appointment time and proceeded to start texting on his phone while completely ignoring me. He started typing stuff into his computer then, without washing his hands or sanitizing, started touching my eye. The whole place creeped me out. I don't understand how they are a legitimate business. read more

First visit here to follow up from a hospital stay. Will never recommend. My appointment was at 12:45, I arrived at 12:30 because I'm a new patient. Was brought back quickly then Naomi came in to get some background health history. She was pleasant however she informed me I needed my eye dilated. This info should have been told to me in advance as i drove myself. The exam literally took 5 minutes. Smh read more

This place is a joke and so is Dr. Abulabahk. First of all, it is extremely dirty, dusty and unorganized. I came for an emergency room follow up because I was having blurred vision and pain in my right eye. The lady who took me back was pleasant and nice but then I waited for the Dr. for 45 minutes! I am pretty sure he only came in because I walked out and wanted to make sure he didn't forget about me and he did. He hardly listened to my problems because he "already knew" and told me he was going to dialate my eyes. I asked if I could still drive and he said "eh be careful". He instead only shined a flashlight in my eye and said I was "fine". I made another appointment with Costco instead (they wanted me to come back here again) and Costco fixed me right away. Save your time, go to Costco. read more

This place needs to hire another doctor or book less patients. Had a 3:30 appointment and waited 20 minutes for them to even call my name. Then all I needed was a follow up, shouldnt have taken more than 15 or 20 minutes MAX, but I had to wait over 50 minutes because theres only one doctor for the whole place who was busy chit chatting with 2 other coworkers just outside my room. I had cataract surgery of my both eyes on the month of December last year. I was satisfied with the outcome and very accomudating on the follow schedules and pre surgery instructions. I am happy of the colorful surroundings except that I still wear reading glass for I did not get the multifucal lens implant because I can't afford it, Over all the service was wonderful. Dr. Abdul Hakeem is an excellent eye surgeon. read more
