And now my wife cannot use her insurance again for another year for glasses or contacts because they cannot be returned and the insurance apparently cannot deny the claim, basicaly stole our money, We will not be coming back again! Update as of may 10th 2018 they are refuseing to write a prescription for the brand of contacts that my wife would like because we were not happy with our service and are not buying them through them! I don't usually leave reviews, but my experience at Oak Lawn Express Care was honestly really…read moreuncomfortable and concerning. When I arrived, I was the only patient there, yet everything still felt extremely disorganized and slow. What stood out the most was how confusing the check-in process was. The front desk staff asked me to spell very simple words (like "circle"), and there seemed to be a lot of confusion over basic information. It made the whole interaction feel awkward and unprofessional, and it actually heightened my anxiety to the point where I started stuttering while trying to answer questions. When I was finally seen, the experience didn't improve much. The nurse practitioner seemed genuinely confused about my medication allergies. Even after I clearly explained my reactions and history, she still appeared unsure and kind of just blanked out instead of addressing it confidently. That was honestly the most concerning part, because I didn't feel safe or reassured discussing my health. Overall, the experience felt disorganized, uncomfortable, and lacking in clear communication. I understand that mistakes happen, but in a healthcare setting, especially when discussing allergies and medical history, there needs to be more confidence, clarity, and professionalism. I left feeling more anxious than when I walked in, which shouldn't be the case after a medical visit.

I ended up being scammed by Richland eye care, scammed out of a whopping $300. I ordered a year…read moresupply of contacts through Richland eye care. The total was over $1,000. The reason I purchased a yearly supply was because of the $400 rebate from acuvue Kat informed me of. Saying it was a pretty incredible rebate. $400 rebate? Why wouldn't I purchase the year supply? Kat (along with another employee) told me all I had to do was go to the acuvue website follow the reward instructions and make sure I input a NEW email address. I did that. It did not give me a $400 rebate only a $100 rebate. Kat left me a voicemail saying "Jenny we talked about this, you must've forgotten, make sure you're using a work email or different email." I don't even have a work email because I'm a stay-at-home mom (hence why the $300 loss is a hard one.) I called kat back to inform her it's not an email address I needed, then they gave me two codes to input on the acuvue rewards website. I submitted all the necessary info. Still, a $100 rebate. Even if you use a new email- acuvue still has your information. You make a new profile with a new email address, you still have to input your first name and your last name your mailing address and your date of birth, using a new email doesn't do anything. So instead of getting the $400 rebate I was assured of receiving multiple times. I lost $300 and am only receiving $100. Not a single employee ever knows what's going on there and will steer you in any direction to get your money. Go elsewhere, learn from my loss!
