Turns out my insurance doesnt pay for progressives so it was all a waste, and now I've been waiting for regular lined bifocals to come in for almost 2 weeks. everyone was very nice but at the end of the day I just need glasses and I still don't have them, even though I was led to believe the wait time was arbitrary and my glasses would likely come sooner.

Yesterday I went in for an adjustment on new glasses I did not buy there this year, and was told that regardless of me being a regular patient/customer, they would Not adjust my glasses unless I paid a 35.00 fee. I wear progressive lenses and reading area is usually just a matter of adjusting how high or low the frames are sitting. I've had this adjustment done dozens of times with eyeglasses or lenses I have bought from them! The young lady, I think Melissa is her name (?), was pretty forceful telling me, No. She wouldn't do it because it was a lens issue and I didn't buy my lenses from them. So, I paid the 35.00 fee and "begged" her to try adjusting the fit. She said okay and if no improvement she would just refund my 35.00. Well, guess what? She fixed the issue but I told her they were the same. She said, "Fine. I'll give you a refund." End of discussion!! Ok. Bye. I will NEVER be back.

They always have fantastic suggestions for frames and colors for matting. My husband made a wood burning project as a kid that we found in the attic, and I wanted to have it framed for him as a surprise. The project turned out amazing and it is due to the artistry with which the project was approached. They suggested a really cool rustic frame with a very different mat that I never would have thought of. It made for such a meaningful gift. I've been to other places where there might be one or two people who truly have a good eye, but at Frames Unlimited on West Main in Kalamazoo, they are all fantastic! Pricey, but worth it for beautifully done work that lasts a lifetime!

Years ago, my now husband had gifted me a beautiful framed print from Frames Unlimited. I tracked down two other prints from the same artist to make a triptych, but I needed them matted and framed. Frames Unlimited meticulously went through their mats to figure out which white mat they had originally used (there are dozens). They also matched the black frame. The result was a beautiful looking set. We also had something we needed framed without the glass (it's a scratch off map) that another framing place in town said they wouldn't be able to do. It wasn't an issue at all for Frames Unlimited. Everyone I interacted with here was pleasant, and when I went to pick up my pieces, an employee helped carry everything to my car. The turnaround was faster than expected as well--they said it might be a couple of weeks but called me to say my order was ready in just about one. I really appreciate their commitment to customer service and would definitely recommend this place to others.
