Superior Service Shady Business Techniques…read more One service call ($110) lead to another service call as job was not able to be corrected at first visit. Another service call fee ($110) plus ($279) for a thermostat, leading to a third service call with billing listed as three service calls ($330) and control board change ($440). A call was placed to the office requesting bill be sent to owner of building. Kip then continued to harass the tenant to pay the bill and take it off the rent. A late fee was charged to the owner albeit it took Superior Service a month to send the bill. The AC wasn't working in a warm day, call to a different company. Central Oregon Heating and Cooling. Things discovered at this service call ($149): Door was not replaced and was not showing any lights in the control board and it wasn't sitting flush. One spade connector was never connected and was still covered from the factory plastic cover. The AC wasn't never wired in and what was present was not properly wired for this type of unit. From this scenario Superior Service sabotages heating units by either not wiring them at all or incorrectly and installing parts with the plastic covering from the factory still on for return service calls they charge for. The intention seems purposeful to ruin heating units so a new furnace/AC unit would need to be purchased, taking advantage of local businesses and local property owners. Do not use Super Service or proceed with caution.

We had a very popular local company come out and inspect and service the units before moving in. The company informed us that the system was old and would need to be replaced and would cost tens of thousands of dollars. We couldn't afford it and figured we would make due. Also at the time of there visit the wired in a new Nest thermostat but the technician seemed to have issues and didn't know what he was doing. He eventually figured it out and said we were good! From there our electric bill shot up to $500 a month and the heat periodically worked! So we were in the house a few months and dealing with freezing temperatures and heat that sucked a power bill that sucked and all of a sudden the heat goes out completely! Mind you it was 26 degrees outside. This is where we meet Kip The owner. I called at 7 pm at night and instantly was greeted with help and solutions. With in an hour Kip was at my house. He began to diagnose the situation one piece at a time. He rewired the Nest thermostat that the other company installed incorrectly. He explained throughly why our system wasn't working and why our bill had gone up so high! He didn't bad mouth the other company but instead just fixed the issue! He then checked the furnace and the heat pump, all the wires and coils and showed us how our old system was great and just need a new filter drawer which saved us thousands. He reassured us that we didn't need to spend tons of money to make what we had work, we just needed a few small tweaks. He was in and out of the house in about an hour and saved our booty's from freezing. The most friendly professional company. It was an absolute blessing to meet this man! I will never do business with anyone else!

I recently fully remodeled my mother's house, including a new roof, flooring, paint, appliances, and an updated HVAC system. I called around and got a quote from three different companies. Sisters Heating and Air came back at 1/2 of the price of the other local companies recommended to me. They explained that her existing furnace could be used but would need some new parts added to it and that if done this way the lines could also be used and she would need a new outdoor unit. Everyone else said this was impossible because her furnace "was too old and wouldn't work with any new systems." This was a perfect solution for us and we are very happy Sisters Heating and Air. Just opened my furnace filter compartment from the last visit by quality heating in January to…read morereplace my filter. Was shocked to find a 1" filter in a 5" slot. What the heck? Called for a remedy and to try and understand and the gal said "oh that's no problem!" and I was like "it's a problem, I don't understand why the wrong filter is installed". She said they didn't charge for the filter and they could send someone out to fix but they would need to charge for the correct filter. I said "let me get this right, you put in the wrong filter and now you want to come back and put in the correct filter, but I have to pay for it?" She said maybe the smaller filter was placed as a temporary filter. But it wasn't noted and if it was temporary it's been close to 5 months so she apologized for the mistake but was unwilling to do anything meaningful. I asked if there was anything they could do and she kept saying they could install the correct filter as a cost. So I'm done with these guys. Installing a 1" filter in a 5" slot can do damage to a furnace. It doesn't seal properly and the surface area of filter is 4-10x less - so it clogs up much much faster.
