When we called Cascade Heating Jeff not only found parts, but was quick to order and have them installed. I appreciated that they were not in a hurry to make a sale of a whole new fireplace, and felt like they were working in our best interests. I recently had a technician come to my house to repair a gas stove/heater. The heater is only four years old. I had recently noticed that the pilot light would not stay lit. The technician looked at it and said the repair would cost more than the stove was worth. He suggested that I buy a new stove. I was charged $135.00. I decided to try to repair it myself. I was successful. The stove merely needed a new $20.00 thermocouple. Took me a half hour to complete the repair. I will be contacting the business to see if they will return my $135.00. I will update this review after I learn their answer. Good news! I contacted the company, and the person helping me was awesome. I received an apology and a refund! Everyone makes mistakes. It's all about taking responsibility and fixing them. Cascade Heating did that. I would definitely use them again. read more

We called for service when our air conditioning stopped working during a heat wave. A technician came out the next day and diagnosed and fixed the problem. We paid at the conclusion with a credit card. Several weeks later we received an invoice for the same amount ($600+), and accidentally paid them again by check. After multiple phone calls and assurances that we would be refunded the overpayment, nothing has happened. Don't know if this is their usual practice, but it's frustrating. read more

Amazinggg service! It was the biggest heatwave we have ever seen- 110 degrees outside at my elderly fathers home and inside it was 90. It was so awful. I called on Sunday night and had an answer service answer at 9 pm! What kind of heating company does that? Cascade heating came the same day I called and was able to fix it within warranty. This company has really gone down hill. We used them in the past to service rental properties, but today I switched companies. Very slow to respond to a service request, then asked if I would email them a list of service items we need performed. 3 days and still do not have an appointment. I asked them to do some work. They came out gave me a quote. They instructed me that I needed to extend the vent pipe on 2 different fireplaces then they could complete the job. I extended the pipes I said go ahead and do the job. 2 weeks later they tell me they don't have time. I had another company do the job and they were $200 less for the same job. read more

The entire team at Cascade Heating was really helpful and easy to work with. From Gus the project estimator to Kyle, the installer they were fantastic. The heat pump I had installed 15 years ago had finally given it's all and it was time to replace it. Gus came out and did a complete and through assessement of our needs. This retrofit was going to require some changes to how our current airflow was installed. Kyle the installer was prompt, polite and professional. He spent three days working on our project and every single day he was prompt, polite and professional and very hardworking. I have used Mt. View Heating for years. I had a furnace installed from them in my own home. They generally have great service and TV commercials. So when my elderly Mother's heating went out I strongly suggested her to use them. They came out and quoted nearly $4700 to replace a furnace in her 1400 square foot house with a 93% efficient furnace. I was shocked with the quote so I asked her to get another quote from another reputable Bend heating company. I felt like they were trying to take advantage of her and make a big score as she was elderly and without heat! She called Cascade Heating. Cascade promptly came out and gave from her a quote install a new higher 94% efficiency furnace (same BTUs as Mt View furnace) installed for $1900. A whopping $2800 less in total cost. That is a huge amount of money difference for someone on a fixed income! Cascade Heating installed the new Trane furnace with no issues quickly and it works great. The job was inspected by the city. I am still shocked on the price difference with the same warranty on install work and furnace. Before going with Mt View for anything, I strongly suggested getting another quote from Cascade Heating or another local Bend/Redmond heating company. There might be enough savings from another company to have a family trip to Hawaii! read more
