Growing up in Chicago we do not have this fast food chain restaurant. I drove down to Coral Reef on a recommendation to check out the chicken nuggets. The drive thru was quick and I zipped back home to try the food. Spicy Chicken Nuggets - Somewhat crispy with a sweet Sriracha mayo-like dipping sauce, they were solid. Chile-Lime Corn - Much better than other fast food corn offerings. The corn had a nice splash of acidity and was not dried out. Chicken Sandwich - A decent offering but ranking far below other fast food competitors. Not bad for a first try and I will add to the rotation if in the neighborhood for a quick bite. read more

Wasn't impressed the first time I went there and tried it again, still not impressed. I ordered the family meal: grilled chicken tenders (because they were out of crispy chicken) - bland; 4 small waffle French fries - came out cold, salad - old, all for $60!!! read more

It's Friday night and we are starving, but ordering food in isn't an option tonight, so rather than a fancy meal we are heading out to pick up chicken sandwiches and wings from a new place in South Dade called PDQ. Located just west of Miami Dade Metro Zoo for the past two month since it opened people have been claiming that it's the latest and greatest so we are about to put it to the test. Arrived about 8:00pm and placed was packed as cars in drive through had a very long line so we decided to go inside for a takeout order. Inside it was decorated as you would expect any other fast food restaurant, but you do notice on walls posters detailing their story and how the focuses on quality food. There were lots of employees in an open kitchen and everyone wearing thrre mask that made us feel safer. Menu was mostly chicken and liked variety different sauces. We took meal home and was delighted to see that true to their advertizing noticed high quality standard in food and pa gong that was used. I had the zesty chicken sandwich which was remarkably delicious and I also opted for loaded waffle fries upgrade for $1.99 that was a great choice. I highly recommend you try this place and support these new restaurants that have good food and providing new employment opportunities for the locals, read more

Food quality is terrible! Not sure what's going on. The tenders are refried and tasteless.

This place just opened down the block from me and so far I love it. It's nice to have another option in the area when you're in the mood for some good quality chicken. I ordered the chicken tenders both grilled and crispy and it was delicious. I also ordered the crispy chicken sandwich and they were also great. The chicken was juicy and full of flavor. They also have a grilled option when you're trying to eat a little healthier. Looks like I'll be a regular here. read more

PDQ Chicken - Crispy chicken sandwiches / grilled tenders / crispy tenders - Sandwiches Near Me - Miami, Florida

Gone to this pdq for years and every visit it gets worse. Employees don't care, management encourages them to do wrong as they rush them without any regard for the quality of the food. Sad that one of my favorite chains has crumbled. And to think this used to compare to chic fil a read more

My first time visiting PDQ, I ordered a 5 piece tenders meal with waffles fries and a soda through the drive-thru. The sauces I chose were honey mustard and honey bbq. When I got home from the restaurant to eat, I realized I was not given all five tenders. There was one missing. I should've checked at the restaurant. However, I believe they should double check the orders a little more carefully before handing them to the customer. I enjoyed the tenders and the waffles fries. The breading on the tenders was pretty crumbly and fell off easily, but the flavor was there. The sauces were tasty as well. Overall, the food was good and although part of my order was missing, the service was friendly. read more

The absolute worst PDQ I have EVER been to! Consistently horrible the last 3 times. Fries are always either cold or overcooked. Sandwiches served cold or with soggy bread. Today was the third and last strike for me and I will never return. read more

I love coming here. The food is delicious and the service always outstanding. I have to say that the ladies who took my order were really courteous and super friendly. I think thats one of the reasons I keep coming back. You could tell that the whole staff was working hard to make it a great experience for the customers. The place was also very clean and tidy. I usually don't write a review about fast food places but this time I wanted to. read more

This place was good when it first opened. Now it's trash. Last time I came i was stuck for an hour in their drive thru because the system was down. I was so traumatized that I didn't go back for a good 6 months. Today I decide to go again and there I was waiting half an hour in the drive thru with only 4 people in front of me. Their fries have also never been fresh. They're always overcooked and hard. Never coming here again. Chic Fil A here I come. read more

Extremely disappointed with myself after giving this PDQ a third try today. After going there two other time in the past and being disappointed, I should have just gave up on this place. The line is always long and the fries are always old and cold. The employees that work inside this place must cook everything early and serve it to their customers throughout the day after it has been sitting there all day. I swear they never have fresh food in this place. You would think being a new restaurant in the area the food would be better. Maybe the owner of this place should stop by from time to time to see what the employees are doing in this place, because they can't be cooking fresh food, the fries are hard and cold and just to warm them up they drop them in the grease twice! Horrible Horrible Horrible place to eat. Save your money and go to KFC down the street! read more

I am a regular here and never really had a bad experience, until today. New faces new staff terrible attitudes Last month they ran out of milkshake powder therefore there were no milkshakes available, they handed me a voucher for a free kids meal. I went today, to start, the girl at the window had a nasty attitude, didn't want to honor the coupon bc it was expired. How was I supposed to know that it was honorable ? It was expired 4/21, mind you, they gave this to me july 21. She called the manager and the manager wasn't professional or helpful , RUDE AS CAN BE! So I told them to forget it, forget the coupon, and as I was telling the cashier at drive thru my order, she's closed the window on me. Like what? I cannot believe this. The manager comes back and harasses me about who gave me the voucher and what was their name as if I should know. I told her " what's the problem? Over a voucher that you guys gave me ?" She tells me that I need to leave and that I'm " trespassing" and that she won't honor it and that she' called the police. At this point this is a joke . I called the police and they said she was out of line and making up her own laws. I did nothing wrong on my part. She refused to give me her name, the cashier refused, and they both refused to cooperate with the police. The assistant manager was kind and tried to help but " Stacey" the manager told her to not speak to us. HOW RUDE IS STACEY AND HER EMPLOYEE? Anyways I will never return and I will def tell everyone I know my experience. I reached out to corporate and am waiting for a response. read more

PDQ chicken tenders are the best. Juicy and tender. After I brought to the manager's attention the lack of customer service the employees became exceptional and very friendly. They constantly have coupons and you need to make sure to download their app to get rewards. I have gotten a lot of free meals. Shakes are incredible. My favorite is the chocolate. Filthy, nasty place. We stop to have a late lunch and all the tables were dirty. The place was nearly empty and employees were just doing nothing. Someone told us this place was like chick-fil-a. The lie detector determined that was a lie! They did not have coke, half their sauces or bottled water. The lady taking our order started talking to someone driving by and it took three people to fill up our two drinks which they forgot we ordered‍. We were in the drive thru for 45 minutes! Never again! read more

This place has gone down hill ever since the switched managers. When Rick was there this place was running extremely smoothly giving chick fila a run for there money. There service was amazing. With the new management they can't manage to get one order correct. I went to PDQ since they recently opened by where I live and every time I would pass by it's dumb full. I went to try it today and I ordered a Honey Butter Sandwich. I got it and it was pink inside, I asked a worker who was walking around and he said "yeah it's fine like that" I asked if he was sure and said "yeah it's like that, a lil pink". I took his words and ate till I got till the end and started getting chewy so I looked at it and saw this. I didn't make a scene about it because I'm just not like that. But it's not what I expected. read more

The food was ok.. but the wait was just ridiculous. In these times of COVID take out is the way to go for most restaurants. This was a one hour wait in line was just too much. This location is two for two with me. The last time I came I was in the drive through line for 35 minutes to get to the window and find out that they did not have three out of the four items that I was going to order. Overpriced chicken. I ordered a chicken sandwich and literally got a piece of chicken breast between two slices Of bread. No sauce, lettuce, tomato, or pickle. At almost $9.00 for the chicken sandwich, they must be crazy. At the beginning the lines were huge, because I guess it was something new. Now the lines have dwindled to maybe 2-3 cars. I guess ignorant die hard fans of overpriced chicken sandwiches. Hail KFC !!! read more

Great new chicken restaurant in the neighborhood and love the freshness of the whole pieces of chicken breasts and the dipping sauces are awesome (favs are garlic cilantro and sweet sriracha). PQD had its grand opening today, but we went for the "soft" opening Thursday and Friday. I put soft in quotations because it seemed like a regular day with all the customers there. They gave 50% off the final tab both days which I suspect was one of the reasons for its rush. They handled the drive-thru lines really well, having someone directing traffic and two others taking orders via tablet. The first drive-up window was taking payments and the second giving you your order. As a big fan of Chick-Fil-A, I was ancy to get home and have my own opinion about its direct competitor. They have a seasonal menu that included a Turkey sandwich, sweet potato waffle fries & a pumpkin spice shake. The sweet fries are delicious!! We loved that both the original and sweet were extra crunchy. The tenders weren't greasy at all. The pieces of chicken that come in the sandwiches are pretty hefty! If you're planning on ordering the hunny butter sandwich make sure to ask for extra napkins because it does get quite messy. The lemonade was ok, I loved the lemon slice touch they add to it. My favorite item on the menu was the chili-lime corn!!! DELICIOUS!! The sides are very different to the common fast food place so that was exciting to have a variety. All in all I still continue to love CFA more, but it's great to have something new and fresh on Coral Reef Dr. read more

Food quality is disgusting. Chicken strips where old and the fries tasted funny. Probably old oil. Will never eat here again.

Great place to be and family friendly food is always delivered in time and never is cold is fresh All the time

My boyfriend and I came to this restaurant to have lunch. I have heard wonderful reviews about the chicken being the best in all of miami and it's good to say that the rumors were not false. I ordered the Jacked Spicy Meal and my boyfriend ordered the Crispy Chicken Deluxe meal. The chicken patties literally melted, the tomatoes were fresh (plus they add oil and vinegar to season them? like what? this is the only restaurant I've eaten at that genuinely cares about each individual ingredient being perfect), and the lettuce was fresh and crisp. The cashier that attended to us was very attentive and was so friendly. He brought the food to the table and assured we were satisfied. The music at the restaurant made the experience better and they even had a little sink we could wash our hands after we ate. Overall this place is absolutely perfect as it caters to people of all ages. I would recommend anyone craving good quality chicken to visit at least once in their lifetime. read more

3 stars because the chicken sandwich was great but their customer service is horrible! I had my 3 kids with me after an appointment decided to stop in at 1:00pm on a Thursday for lunch. The drive thru is always super crazy here, wrapped around the building as usual so glad I ordered online about 15 mins before we got here from Kendall. Arrived and parked in the curbside pickup 1 ( there were 2 and it was empty). We waited 15 mins and no one came out. I decided to send my 12 and 13 yr olds inside to pick it up. They waited first at the counter and the employees at the counter acknowledged other customers coming in after them until finally asking if they needed something. My daughter proceeded to say that we had an curbside pickup order and we've been waiting for about 25 mins (at this time). The sandwiches were in a bag already sitting on the counter getting cold and they gave it to them without any apology or words. They said we ordered 4 drinks as well. They then proceeded to get them the drinks. We got our order about 35 mins after took it home it was cold but the sandwiches weren't soggy at all they tasted great. My daughter didn't care for the honey butter sandwich but the crispy chicken sandwich that I had was fresh and delicious. Their packaging is epic as it allows the sandwiches to not get squished together in the bag. The nuggets were ok but no sauce was given. Their lemonade was ok. I wasn't happy with their lack of customer service. There wasn't even an apology for the forgotten food or for having a customer wait that long for 4 meals. Our order was over $55. I think we'll just wait for the ChickFilA that's opening soon in Kendall. There was so much rave about PDQ but chickFilA has always had A class customer service. I'm rather disappointed. read more
