A feel like I've found a hidden fast food gem. With options for grilled or crispy, I got to "treat" my little one while eating a lower guilt fast option for myself. The fries (yes i ate a few of her fries) were yummy but even more notable, it was fast which is why I went and the customer service was awesome. My cashier had a great personality and seemed happy to be helping customers and the manager came to introduce himself to me when he saw I was conversing with her. All in all, it's worth going inside rather than the drive through. Its kept clean and in my opinion, friendly customer service anywhere, especially in a fast food establishment, seems to be so rare in busy Broward County. I was pressed for time but was happy to spare the extra couple minutes to chat with happy people. read more

I honestly had no clue what on earth PDQ was as they don't have any locations in the DC area where I'm from. After passing by this location a few times during my most recent stay down South my curiosity grew and I did some research before popping in for what was some seriously delicious chicken. Yeah, I'm that nerd. But to be fair (and to fellow out of towners out there) PDQ stands for "People Dedicated to Quality" which ehhh to me PDQ sounds way better. I certainly wouldn't slam the breaks on to stop at a place called "People Dedicated to Quality" unless I were a CPA or maybe a building inspector. The name doesn't scream chicken tenders and dreamy sandwiches; yet, that's exactly what they do so very well. I popped in during prime weekday lunch hour. Inside the line wasn't super long, but the drive thru line was comparable to CFA. Always a good sign. As I waited in line inside I noticed there wasn't a single empty table. Definitely first for me! The line moved quickly. I enjoyed their chicken above and beyond when compared to the competitors. Seriously PDQ, expand above the Carolinas! I stuck with the basic tenders and was really surprised. The chicken wasn't overly breaded and greasy. It was light and crispy in a way that didn't leave you feeling stuffed to the brim. They had me at homemade sauce and consequently I went a bit bonkers in that department trying the creamy garlic, honey bbq, chipotle bbq, and honey mustard. They were tasty yet on the mild side. They need to add a hot mustard and they'll be set. My portion was huge and could have lasted for a day or two had I not left it in a hot car. Oops! Lastly! As I waited for my food I noticed there were two chefs in chef jackets. This was both different and impressive given the fast food environment. Overall dope food, awesome staff and environment. I have to say that this chain is one of our FAVORITE restaurants anywhere, let alone when we go to our home in Boca. We never eat in fast food places, rarely eat fried food, nor have I ever reviewed a fast food place. I don't even like white meat AT ALL (even if it is fried!), but their chicken fingers and dipping sauces are THE BEST! We were so happy to find that we didn't need to drive to either Pompano or West Palm when we came back in December since they opened a brand new one about 7 minutes from our place. That's kind of good and bad but of course it was one of our first meals in Florida. I always ask them to cook the chicken fingers for a little shorter time so that they are still juicy and they are always perfect. I personally do not like dry white meat and I can literally eat these every day. Their zucchini fries are great too. Service is always very good, the PDQs are all always very clean and they have sinks with soap and water right near the condiments so you can wash up before and after eating. They also have those great soda machines where you can choose different flavorings for your Coke Zero (or any other soda) and you can add, vanilla, lemon, orange, cherry or anything your heart desires. Usually don't review fast food joints but this gets one. My kids and I went to Target and decided to check out this PDQ which is in the same parking lot. The nuggets and tenders were out of the world and the kids had fun with the soda machine which is the coke one with all the flavors. The tater tots where yummy and some of the sauces we tried were good! The staff was helpful and patient while we looked at the menu! So happy to have this option around the corner! read more

Yummm. I actually like PDQ a lot. They have really nice employees and I'm glad this location is near my house. I got a nice and fresh honey-butter sandwich with one of their hand spun shakes and a bottle of cheer wine (cherry cola). My only complaint was that the drive through was situated a little weird, but I went on opening day, so I know that's why it was probably extra crowded. But if you love chick fil a, you'll love PDQ better guaranteed. read more

I eat at this location once a week. My favorite is the crispy chicken salad with honey mustard. Always fresh salad with ripe tomatoes and just the right amount of cheese. The staff is always great and friendly. They do a great job keeping it clean and delivering your food to your table. Don't be afraid to bring to their attention any food issues as they will correct it on the spot and you won't be waiting 5-10 minutes like some places. This is the first time I think I had to pick up my phone and write a bad review. This PDQ recently opened in the plaza by our house, me and my fiancé decided to give it a try and went there for the first time. The Cali chicken club thats advertised as grilled came with fried chicken instead. A slight nuisance but no big deal. The second and now our last time we went there we probably spent 2-3 minutes at the window before someone cleaning the floor noticed us. A girl named Allie ran up to window and took our order. This time the zucchini fries we ordered were not in the bag.. another bummer. The grilled chicken had very tough skin and overall fairly bland. It baffles me that this place has such low traffic and does not take care of the customers they DO have. They had people greeting at every area which was fantastic. They gave us ideas an opinions on what we should get. So we got the Classic chicken sandwich meal with fries and pimento chicken sandwich meal with fries and chicken tenders and zucchini fries on sides. We got a whole bunch of sauces:). So first thing the sandwiches were delicious and you can taste the freshness of the sandwiches I'm not a sauce guy but I was in awe with the taste of all the sauces we tried which were chipotle bbq's, creamy ranch, sweet sriracha, creamy garlic. I did not know which one was my fave but all these with any of the combo the sandwich, tenders or the fries. Really good fast food place. Got the buffalo blue sandwhich and the flavors were really good. Just the right amount of sauce but since the sandwhich is made of chicken tenders it kind of falls apart. The employees were super nice and the food came out super quick. Somewhat a high end fast food place. Also got a 5 count of strips with sides of some really really good ranch and honey sriracha sauce. Sauces in my book are a lot better than chic fil a which is this places too comparison.
