Concerning Tuna Salad and Poor Customer Service…read more On September 28, 2026, I purchased 2 pounds of tuna salad and some bagels. While eating it, my daughter suddenly began gagging and coughing and spit out an entire mouthful of food. In that mouthful was a BONE approximately ¾ inch long. She was fortunate that she was able to spit it out rather than choke on it. We all immediately stopped eating the tuna. Approximately 1 1/2 pounds of the tuna remained, which I returned to the store the next day. Rather than expressing concern about what had happened, the employee was rude and insisted that it was impossible for there to be bones in their tuna. That was difficult to understand, since tuna are fish (with bones) and, as our experience demonstrated, a bone was in fact present in the tuna I purchased. The employee weighed the tuna I returned and offered to replace it. We declined because, after what had just happened, we had no intention of eating any more tuna from this restaurant. The employee refused to provide a refund but kept the returned tuna. We were asked for our phone number and told that the store manager would contact us. We have not received a call. The most troubling aspect of this incident is not simply that a substantial bone was found in the tuna, it is that someone in my family nearly choked on it. My daughter was fortunate. The next customer who encounters a bone like this may not be. It is clear the restaurant does not take such incidents seriously. Customers who report a potentially serious food-safety incident should be treated with concern, rather than rude dismissal. They sold the product and have a responsibility to serve food that is fit for consumption. The tuna that I bought was not. Apparently, their policy is: once you pay for it, it's yours, even if it's inedible. Won't be going back.

I had a loaded chopped salad (I picked various toppings, some free and some for a up charge unbeknownst to me). I also got these beautiful caramel Drizzled Ghirardelli made in house brownie bites. The salad was 3 portions for me. Absolutely a shareable amount. That alone semi justified the $22.50ish cost. The dressings are a large 4 oz. with is plenty for the amount of salad. The space is cute and very busily appointed, with lots of signs and a nice large menu above the register. It was clean and bright and cozy. Service was ok. They move very fast and get you in and out quickly. I took mine to go and it made it the 25 minute ride to the house fine. I was reluctant to keep the leftovers next day but they held up well as they were not dressed and the lettuce pieces were so small. I would stop by again, post massage at 5 Elements next door, and try other offerings in the menu in the future. The salad was light on the digestive system and very filling. Give them a try!

The small deli/restaurant is mainly for take out, but they do have a couple tables inside. We chose to order here and eat at one of the tables. We got a chance to chat with the owner. We got a friendly welcome. She was quite sweet. When we asked, she told us that Goldy was her sister who had passed away. The restaurant was named after her. In addition to the menu on the counter, they have a blackboard with various featured items -- including soups of the day -- and specials. They use Board Head meats which you can see in the case. We both ordered their Italian sub, but I made a few changes to mine leaving out the ham and the capicola. The bread was soft and went well with all the meats, cheeses, and veggies. It was an excellent sandwich. We each ate half (the sandwich was stuffed with stuff) and took half home. We were talking about other options that they have when the owner mentioned various desserts -- including banana pudding. She mentioned that it's quite popular and sells out often, but she just happened to have some ready. This is my husband's favorite dessert. He couldn't resist getting a container of it. He took a few tastes there and devoured the rest at home. This place is definitely worth a return visit. And if you're looking for a good sub/hero/sandwich, etc. it makes a perfect lunch stop -- to eat in or to go. I'm so glad we tried them.

I've driven past it thousands of times on Wiles Road without noticing it sitting there quietly between auto repair shops across from Costco like some kind of breakfast speakeasy. Meanwhile, these people have apparently been serving legit breakfast this entire time. The second we walked in, we got greeted like cousins who finally came home from war. Friendly, warm, joking around, genuinely happy we were there. You know how some breakfast spots make you feel like you personally ruined their morning by ordering eggs? Not here. My wife ordered the veggie omelette with home fries and a toasted bagel. Everything tasted fresh. Actual fresh vegetables. Not the sad, wet diner veggies that look emotionally exhausted before they hit the grill. I went with scrambled eggs, french fries, and a bagel because apparently my inner 8-year-old was making decisions today. Then came "the sauce." Sweet mercy. They recommended their secret sauce and suddenly breakfast turned into an event. The spicy version isn't really spicy unless ranch dressing intimidates you, but it has this smoky pepper flavor that somehow made EVERYTHING better. Eggs? Fantastic. Fries? Unreal. I would've dipped my car keys in it if nobody was watching. At one point my wife, who normally avoids spicy food like it owes her money, kept stealing fries off my plate just to use my sauce before finally admitting she needed her own serving. That sauce could solve arguments. Now for the only small hiccup: the bagel itself didn't taste house made to me. Honestly tasted a little Costco-adjacent, which is hilarious considering Costco is literally across the street. But that's also on me because I didn't get it toasted. Rookie mistake. Toast your bagel, people. This is valuable community information. And honestly, it takes a LOT for me to hand out five stars. I grade restaurants like Simon Cowell judging karaoke night. But the service alone almost got them there by itself. Add the fresh breakfast, hidden gem atmosphere, and that ridiculous sauce, and yeah... I'll absolutely be back. Pro tip #1: Toast the bagel.Pro tip #2: Get the sauce.Pro tip #3: Don't be like me and accidentally ignore this place for nearly two decades. Four and a half stars.

We proceeded really quickly, we had three people come over to make sure we had water as soon as we sat down and coffee, and then our waitress was attentive even though they were super busy and packed with a line waiting for people to sit down. Food was exactly as anticipated, and the grits were really good. I had a coral Springs wrap that was pressed. They had four choices for the wrap flavor, I went with traditional instead of the spinach or whole wheat. Their deli counter had every salad you could think of, shrimp salad, white fish salad, salmon, egg, tuna, chicken, just anything. We will definitely be back. They even have counter seeding at the deli. Really a cute place and I'm surprised it has so many lower stars, not sure if people were expecting fine dining but this is a perfect local little restaurant.

Going in, they must've renovated the interior as there was more space and city wallpaper across the wall. For breakfast, I ordered 1x breakfast plate with ham, soft scrambled eggs with American, home fries, orange juice & everything bagel, and Pops ordered 1x breakfast plate with bacon, over easy eggs, home fries, decaf coffee & wheat toast. Going into my review, breakfast was fantastic! I didn't necessarily receive what I ordered, but honestly, it turned out for the best as it was even better (they made me an omelet with diced ham and american cheese). Scrambled eggs were super soft, plenty of chunky ham, and nicely melted cheese! The bagel wasn't too heavy but slightly crispy. The home fries could've been more well done, but they were tasty. The over eggs were nicely runny, bacon was thick/flavorful, toast toasty, and the potatoes on this plate were seasoned & crispy! In addition, the OJ was good as it had pulp strands and not watered-down juice. The decaf had a fresh taste and wasn't a bitter coffee ground. Furthermore, the service was very attentive and friendly. Overall, we were highly satisfied with our visit to Rob's Bageland and would be happy to come again. Final verdict 5/5!

The sandwich barely had bacon on it, just a few "bacon crumbles" on the top and bottom, with an excessive amount of lettuce and tomato. I sent it back and ordered a simple hot dog. I sent that back too, as it was inedible. Along with the mustard, the server brought an army of fruit flies, and I'll just leave it at that. The service was poor and the food was questionable. Fruit flies everywhere. Server unfazed. Manager or owner was on the phone and wouldn't come out and talk with me. The cashier was rude when I questioned the 3% universal charge on the check. She said it was a credit card fee which is typical these days, but I was paying with cash. At my request she removed the charge.

I think there were more folks doing takeout than dining in. We asked -- as it wasn't on the menu -- but they do offer a half sandwich and soup option. Your choices of soup are noodle, or matzah ball, or soup of the day. And you can choose any of the deli meat sandwiches. I had their matzah ball soup with a half pastrami sandwich. He had the chicken noodle with a half corned beef. The sandwiches come with a pickle slice and coleslaw. The matzah ball was light and fluffy. The soup base was flavorful. The pastrami was a bit fatty and grisly so I had to deconstruct it. The rye was soft in the center and got a tad soggy from the meat, but had a nice outer edge crust. I think I'd get the corned beef instead in the future. I gave my well marinated pickle to my husband -- I'm a half sour gal myself. But I liked the slightly sweet coleslaw. I'm glad we came to try them. Now we know.
